I spent 18 horrible years with this company. It felt so good to cancel almost 2 years ago at my home and get fiber.
Outages every day almost that affected the entire neighborhood for the past 18 years. Even had a few city wide outages 10,000+ customers that would last weeks. Once the entire city was down, call support they'd want to send a tech to MY house to "fix it" They'd do this to everyone that called for the first 2 days before acknowledging the outage. It was out for 2 weeks for every customer until it was fixed.
Moving foward to a few months ago, fiber finally rolled around to my parents business was paying $79 a month for 300/20 with constant outages (keep in mind this location is in another town) Switched to AT&T Fiber 300/300 for $65 a month.
Paid what I thought was the FINAL bill.... NOPE. The cable co sends the final bill for business to a 3rd party debt collection company which tacks on their own fees bringing to $79 to $115. So the debt collection is legit, its just the company gives you no option to pay your actual final bill before sending it off.
Is that legal for a company to do this? Apparently this is how they handle final bills for businesses.
