There goes my dinner 😔

For the second time in Dallas I've had a car driver honk at me while I am on the sidewalk and then later tell me that I need to be careful and pay attention because I could get hit by a car. I honestly think these people see themselves as being kind.

The first time was because I was walking down the street wearing headphones. The guy literally followed me into a CVS to confront me. When I told him to leave me the fuck alone he threatened to hit me with his car when I left the store. Mind you the way the parking lot was set up he would have had to drive over a median to have actually hit me.

Today walking from the parking lot to the voting center a van honked at me. I stopped and just thought, damn what an asshole, I guess they thought I was going to cross the drive way instead of turning right to enter the voting place. The van parks and a little old lady gets out smiling, "you need to be careful, you could get hit."

These people were both at least 60 and really seemed to think that warning me that they could hit me with their car is an act of kindness. Maybe follow the law and don't hit pedestrians on the sidewalk.

Yes since this is this site, I am aware someone is not going to believe me because this has never happened to them so it can't possibly happen to anyone else 😅

Ive been trying to shop at best buys for a pc, and i do appreciate the help at first from the employees, but they constantly hounded me and told me how i was missing out on the deal and even when i kept politely declining they kept trying to sell me on the most expensive hardware. so i waited until the next day, and the same shit happened and now i don’t even like going there anymore because its like everyone is trying to Sell me on bs. anyone else experiencing this or is it just me?

I needed some gold for powered rails so I went to this nearby portal but can't find the gold block here, ig ill have to go back to the cave just for a few pieces of gold T_T

i understand that less plastic is better for the earth. but it drives me a while frozen food does not come with packaging that's properly resealable. the corndogs are just raw dogging it in the box and the box doesn't even have a tab to close it. so now i still have to put it in a plastic Ziploc so they don't get freezer burnt.

you can judge my food choices 🤷 didn't have anything left over from dinner to bring to work with me today and honestly a corndog sounded good

CNN has renamed all programs from 3pm to 11pm "Countdown to Election Night" so none of my scheduled series are recording.

Our rice is now consistently showing up with plastic in it and for obvious reasons it won't cook down and my boss won't change brands because it's cheaper.
