Player(s) Needed by GM [Online][5e 2024][Long-Term][Dark Fantasy][18+] What Sleeps Beneath the Prayers

Newer DM looking for 4–5 players for a dark fantasy homebrew campaign I’ve been running with friends.

We’ll be using Discord and Foundry VTT. There will be a Session 0 before starting, and I plan to begin in November.

Magic bleeds through the world like poison, corroding flesh, minds, and faith. Some people promise safety, while others promise salvation. But what really lies beneath the prayers?

The party will be in the middle of something larger than themselves, but how you engage with it is entirely up to you. I will share more information tailored to your character’s backstory as we chat and during Session 0.

Availability: Monday–Thursday 16:00 - 24:00 EDT (We will decide the exact time together)

I’m Looking For:

  • Players who enjoy a little mystery
  • People who like character-driven stories
  • Weekly sessions, or clear communication if something comes up

If all of this interests you, send me a message on Discord (ama073055)

Player(s) Needed by GM [Marvel Multiverse RPG] [Other] [Online] [MTN] [Friday OR Saturday Evenings] Experienced GM running a monthly group. Looking for 3 players. Beginner players welcome!

Hi all!

I'm starting up an MMRPG game based directly in the Marvel Universe where you'll be playing as new heroes as opposed to established characters. After a combined assault by villains the world over, Earth has been devastated by a pyrrhic victory on behalf of the forces of good, with many of Earth's mightiest heroes--Spider-Man, Captain America, most of the X-Men--killed in battle alongside many of their worst villains. Now, with the ashes settling, Hawkeye and Scarlett Witch, last of the Avengers, are training a new guard to fill the power vacuum left by the fall of the old before anyone less savory can take advantage of the fact.

I typically fall into a pretty campy tone for my campaigns, with a higher focus on character development than grand narrative. I'm also fairly rules light, and while I obviously stay within the confines of "rules as written", I'm also more than willing to roll with rule of cool if it fits the narrative better. Moving from that, this campaign will be more one-shot based due to the scheduling with an equal split of roleplaying and combat focus, so if that doesn't interest you, this may not be the game for your liking. As Dungeonworld and Daggerheart have taught me, I'm also super big on collaborative worldbuilding!

I'd also like to make 100%, absolutely clear that if you're going to be a part of this table, I expect you to be welcoming to queer and PoC tablemates and characters when they come up. It's the Marvel Universe and these aren't small sections of it nor am I willing to tolerate hate, so any warning for such is right here.

As for time/scheduling, that's going to depend on when people can meet. As I work a full 8-4, we can either meet on Fridays 7-11 p.m. MTN or Saturdays 6-10 p.m. MTN, with longer sessions because this is a monthly campaign. It's possible that, if all goes well and some time frees up on my end, we could move to biweekly, but I can't make promises on that. Next session will be scheduled at the end of each session. The only exception for this will be character creation, which we'll do either 2 weeks before our first actual session or individually, have not yet decided and it's going to depend on players.

Bit about me, I'm a 25M with ~5 years of gming experience. I've run 2 full campaigns over those years and a bunch of mini campaigns, originally in 5E and then Dungeon World and for the past year and a half exclusively Daggerheart. I've done a bunch of one-shots using MMRPG, but never a full campaign so this is new to me!

If you're interested, feel free to DM me or comment and I'll respond when I can!

Games: D&D, Pathfinder, Fallout 2d20, Warhammer Fantasy, and others

We’re an older group, have been gaming together 10+ years, and are very noob-friendly. Experience doesn’t matter — reliability and a good attitude do. We rotate Gm's and if you would like to Gm at a point that would be cool.

Casual but consistent group, story + combat focused, drama-free table.

Interested?
DM or comment with what you’ve played (or want to try) and whether you’re a player or GM.

I am putting together a group of 4-6 criminals to take part in a campaign where the party is joining up with a prominent syndicate. Starting at level 2 going to 16. You aren't playing chaotic evil characters but in the neutral to lawful evil spectrum. I allow any official source for race class and spells with no restrictions. I am hoping to have a session 0 this Sunday. Roll20 and DND beyond(I have most of the books and will make a campaign to share) Reach out to me on here if you have any questions and or are interested. Lgbt+ is welcomed at the table and I don't have any problem with people using ai.

Player(s) Needed by GM [Offline][Other][San Francisco] Pirate Borg Open Table

TL;DR: LFM for Pirate Borg in a homebrew fantasy world. In-person, public space announced before the session, Sundays 1-4pm, 18+ only. Send me a message.

My group is moving on from Shadowdark and trying out Pirate Borg. Here's the info:

  • Organized on Discord: I post session sign-ups on Tuesday. Sessions are always on Sunday and always 1 to 4pm.
  • Homebrew Setting: Fantasy world recovering from a near-apocalypse. Characters are currently docked at a far-flung city on the edge of the known world.
  • Tone: Overall serious with plenty of out of character laughs. If I had to rate our sessions like a video game I'd give them an M for Mature. No players under 18.

Send me a message if you're interested.

Player(s) Needed by GM [Other] Mothership RPG [Weekly Saturdays 1PM - 6PM EST (UTC-4)][21+][Online] Looking for 1 More Player

You don't remember signing the debt.

Doesn't matter.

Your loans, contracts, and liabilities were bundled together and auctioned across known space.

Nobody bid.

Except Mott Haver.

Now you work aboard the a freighter (Diurnal Return), taking the jobs nobody else will touch because they're too dangerous... or too strange.

Prospero's Dream is a station where oxygen costs money, cabals own your future, and every distress beacon is probably someone's worst mistake.

Mothership is:

  • A crack spreading across your helmet visor.
  • A stolen pulse rifle from the armory.
  • Something moving through the ventilation.
  • A distress signal that should have stayed silent.
  • Dead-end jobs across the galaxy—with the emphasis on dead.

The damage has already been done.

You just don't know it yet.

System: Mothership RPG
Style: Hard sci-fi • Corporate horror • Sandbox • Survival • Investigation
Platform: Online (Fantasy Grounds + Discord)
Experience: New players welcome
Type: Long-Term Campaign via Pound of Flesh

Translation: This game will take place primarily on a 22 kilometer space station that hangs at the end of Fringe Space. This space station plays host to the emergent medical marvel of cybernetics being tinged by all manner of practices, sequences, and rituals. This city-state in space is governed by a criminal syndicate giving the whole impressions of places like; Bangkok, Dubai, Hong Kong, Monaco, Port Royal / Tortuga, Seville, Tijuana... Barter Town, Megaton, Venusville. Seedy and low-brow at times we keep the window dressing subdued while focuses on intrigues, action, and mystery. We use battlemaps and tokens while utilizing mind's eye for swift random resolution of violence (80/20). ATM we are a group of 4 players and 1 Warden; looking to create a 6 player team... You do not need any experience with Mothership but you should have some RPG experience (D&D, Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu serves best, Etc.) so that the for us all, the basic RPG concepts are known by all. We are using the 0E Experience system but all else otherwise is 1.2E core material. Play cycles through lifestyle per seasons, random events, upkeep - then when the stars align there will be bumps in the night (aka adventures; both published and Warden created)...

"The debt survives longer than you do."

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online][5e/5.5e 2024/2026][PST] "Obscura: The Tale of Two Stories" Looking for players

Good whatever time of day it is when you read it!

My name is Selaena, I am a bit of a newbie DM but have ran several incomplete campaigns(one currently ongoing, two were canceled due to time conflicts). Some basic information about me, I and one of my close friends helped to create the world we run campaigns in. It has been a passion project for the both of us, and I am even adapting some of it into a book. I am 26 years old, I am in college for a bachelor's in communication studies( so yes being able to communicate effectively and clearly is important to me), and I have two small kids and a partner. That being said, I do try to respond in a timely fashion. I also do my best to try and attend every session that we plan, even if it is a few minutes late, but I will almost always give a heads up unless there is an emergency situation.

Newbie and Experienced players are always welcomed. We are LGBTQIA+ friendly. We will be running in the 5e/5.5e ruleset. I enjoy meeting new people and becoming friends with my players, and I wish the same for all of my players. I find it helps group cohesion that way, but it's not required.

As it stands, we are looking for 2-3 more players depending on various factors. We would not be starting until the beginning of the year, but plan to have at least a Session 0 sometime in Decemeber to go over mechanics and various other things that are important to the world, as well as further cement player-DM expectations. I do also have a survey and online document to hand out in case you are interested and have any questions.

Campaign Rundown

Welcome, Adventurer, to the world of Aetris. This is a world of magic and superstition, of steady advancement and gods that walk amongst mortals. This fantastical world is split into 6 continents of diverse communities and cultural connections. Some boast the birth place of gods, others claim demons stained their souls.

Your party shall start in the kingdom of Jekrellia, the central country on the continent of Obsca that has roadways and ocean paths to all countries except The Lost and Yggdrin. Are you petty thieves? Extensions of the Assassin's Guild in The Hearth? Perhaps novice explorers seeking to gain a name for themselves? The ball is in your court.

But war looms on the horizon. Whispers of a stolen princess, of a bloodthirsty king permeate the streets like worms in a rotten apple. Tensions are rising. Some people believe that tomorrow will be bloodshed and flames, fearful and shivering in the corners of their houses. Others welcome the theory, eager to bear teeth and defend their homes.

So, my intrepid adventurers, what shall you do?

Player(s) Needed by GM [online][5e 2024] [18+] first time dm looking for players!

Hello everyone, I’m a first time dm (19m) that’s been planning session zero for months recently some of my players ran into a long term pause on free time, so I’m in need of some preferable experienced players, the campaign I’m running is the Crooked Moon and Honk Legion by Legends of Avantris, scheduling may vary but Thursday morning-afternoon is what my schedule usually fits.

The campaign is folk horror so there will be descriptions and interactions with sensitive subjects such as mutilation, body horror, and some generally emotionally distressing topics so you must be comfortable with these but we will discuss this during session zero.

Oh and about the length of this campaign I am hoping to run from level 1-20 with weekly sessions.

Lastly I am primarily looking for just 3 more players, open to more but at discretion.

Please dm me if you’re interested or reach out to my discord flyboy1662

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online] [5e 2014/2024] [21+] [LGBTQIA+ Friendly] The World Beyond - Ongoing Homebrew Campaign | 1 Player Wanted

• Upvotes

The World Beyond — Looking for One Adventurer!

"Lost civilizations. Impossible creatures. Forgotten magic. Ruins no scholar has ever named. Horizons no map has ever held."

Hey everyone! I'm looking for one more player to join our existing group of four in The World Beyond, a long-term homebrew D&D campaign!

Our campaign has already started, but we're only a few sessions in! There's still plenty of adventure ahead, and I'll personally help our new player get caught up, create a character that fits the setting, and find a natural introduction to the party.

About the Campaign

The World Beyond is an original D&D campaign set within Faerûn, blending the Forgotten Realms with my own worldbuilding, locations, factions, mysteries, creatures, and adventures. Our story begins in Nighthaven, an extraordinary metropolis beneath permanent night, home to the Guild of the Seven Sins, one of Faerûn's most prestigious adventuring organizations.

The heart of the campaign is an expedition into The World Beyond, a mysterious continent that has reappeared after centuries of absence. With unexplored wilderness, ancient civilizations, extraordinary creatures, and countless secrets awaiting discovery, the party will help assemble a crew and venture into the unknown, deciding where their journey takes them.

The campaign focuses on roleplay, exploration, discovery, character development, meaningful choices, and lasting consequences, alongside exciting combat and player-driven storytelling.

I'm building a living world for my players to explore, not a predetermined story they're required to follow.

What Kind of Game Is This?

I'm aiming for a balanced, character-driven fantasy adventure with a healthy mix of humor, creativity, excitement, and serious storytelling.

We love joking around and having ridiculous D&D moments! But we also enjoy meaningful character interactions, uncovering mysteries, emotional moments, and situations where our decisions genuinely matter. You definitely don't need elaborate accents, professional acting experience, or Critical Role-style roleplay. What matters is being engaged with the world, curious about the story, respectful of other players' moments, and excited to contribute to a collaborative adventure.

Game Details

  • Players Wanted: 1, joining an existing party of 4
  • System: D&D 5e (2014 baseline, selected 2024 options with DM approval)
  • Schedule: Weekly, generally every Tuesday were looking for someone open to playing Wednesdays or Thursdays as well, approximately 7:30PM–11:30PM ET
  • Platform: Discord and Foundry VTT (No previous Foundry experience is necessary!)
  • Age Requirement: 21+
  • Table: LGBTQIA+ friendly and inclusive. Must enjoy dark humor and explicit language!
  • Experience: Some D&D experience preferred, but enthusiasm and group compatibility matter more than system mastery.

I occasionally use AI to help with campaign preparation, organization, and visual references. I personally run the campaign and make all DM decisions.

Who We're Looking For

Our group is hoping to find someone who:

  • Enjoys roleplay, exploration, mysteries, and character development.
  • Likes interacting with NPCs and building relationships with other party members.
  • Takes initiative and enjoys meaningful decisions without needing a predetermined path.
  • Appreciates both hilarious moments and serious, immersive storytelling.
  • Respects other players' spotlight and contributes to a cooperative party.
  • Is comfortable joining an established group and developing connections with existing characters.
  • Can reliably attend our weekly sessions and communicate scheduling conflicts.

Creative characters, humor, unconventional solutions, and unexpected decisions are absolutely welcome! The important thing is creating a character who wants to participate in the adventure and sharing the experience with everyone at the table.

Interested in Joining?

The process is simple:

  1. Application: Fill out the short application below.
  2. Discord Conversation: We'll have a relaxed chat about expectations, playstyles, and group compatibility.
  3. Character Creation: Once selected, we'll work together on your character, starting equipment, and introduction to the campaign.

Please don't create a character before applying.

Apply here: https://tally.so/r/q49Oo2

Please use the application rather than sending a full application through Reddit DMs.

Looking forward to welcoming another adventurer to The World Beyond!

Player(s) Needed by GM [5e 2024] [online] [CST/Chicago] Family-friendly beginner-friendly free biweekly Sunday afternoons

• Upvotes

ACROSS THE NORTHERN WOODS, SPRINGS ARE GOING BITTER AND STREAMS ARE TURNING TO RED SAND, AND ALL THE CREATURES THAT DRINK FROM THEM ARE FALLING SICK. ELVES AND DWARVES, PRIESTS AND ADVENTURERS, MANY CONCERNED NEIGHBORS ARE GATHERING AT AN OLD SHRINE TO FIND OUT WHO, OR WHAT, IS POISONING THE WATER. HEROES WITH GOOD HEARTS ARE NEEDED.

Maybe you played Dungeons & Dragons a while ago, or maybe you have always been curious, or maybe you're a parent with a kid who is interested and it sounds like a fun thing to do together, or some combination of those. I am an old-school D&D player since before the internet! And I am a dad of an unusual dwarf, sort-of.

We will meet (on a Roll20 voice call) every other Sunday @ 1:45pm CST/Chicago for 90 minutes, get (re)familiar with how to play Dungeons & Dragons on Roll20.net (it's actually easier now than it was 20, er 30, years ago, but I'm still learning the rule-changes...). We will use our Characters' names and NOT share or ask for personal info. AND IN THE 2-WEEK GAPS WE WILL TRY TO PLAY USING Roll20 MESSAGING (no pressure; we will see how that goes). Our campaign will begin with the first meeting, including you. Who are you and how is the problem of poisoned and dried up water sources causing you to get involved?

FYI, my being the Dungeon Master for a PG family game means taverns serve root beer, there's no focus on various gods/demons/devils, and we do our dice-rolling combat without graphic violent descriptions (and of course there's zero sexuality in this campaign) - these are some reasons the game got bad publicity, and nobody needs them. Goal is kid-adult appropriate enjoyment of one of the best games ever invented. We will move our tokens and roll virtual dice on the "virtual tabletop" while describing (or role-playing) what our characters do in turn. Two options: parent and kiddo play 2 separate characters (but each player needs a computer); or parent and kiddo start by controlling 1 character (parent helps kiddo, who makes the decisions - it's possible to start this way and the parent can later start their own character). Each player playing a character will need a free Roll20.net account, and while Discord is the best for voice calls, we can commit to using Roll20 voice if everyone is not on Discord. This game series will be absolutely free of charge, and everyone can use my Player's Handbook. I think this is the only "family-friendly" game on roll20.

"I'm a searchlight soul, they say, but I can't see it in the night
I'm only faking, when I get it right."

-------------------------------------------

Seattle, 1998. Halloween Night. The Milennium is approaching; and The End of History is here. Everyone can feel the chill- not too long 'til the fabled Year 2000, the future, a brand new start. For some, maybe- nobody else believes it. The winds blow Rainier fog down in blankets across the city; and with it, a chill to the bone. Even the Mortals can sense something coming; like a flock scents the wolf from far away. But what does it matter what they think? You aren't like them.

Not anymore.

You, and your compatriots, are Kindred- fledglings and neonates, brought into this new life under the auspices of the Camarilla. For now, in the court of Seattle's Prince, you are Nobodies- at best. But who knows what you will do in the struggles to come?

-------------------------------------------

Greetings!
My name is Cate, 27, They/Them. I've been playing TTRPGs for a very long time, and my newest love is VtM. After much deliberation I have decided to try my hand at running a game, just to see how it will go.

For this game, we will playing in the VtM V5 system. For the purposes of this game, we will be playing in a game world that will be Seperate from the Canon of VtM V5's Lore. We will be playing at a tenative game time of Tuesdays, 6:30 PM EST, to 10 PM EST. Your starting characters will be either Neonates or Fledglings. Each player, once chosen, will have a personal Session -1 with me, where we discuss and hammer out and improv your character's place in the world, their backstory, and so on. After that, you will all have a short Session 0 together, where you all will introduce your characters and sires and so on to each other, so that we may fill out a starting Relationship Map. After that, we will have our true Session 1, which will take place on Halloween Night, 1998.

If this interests you at all, please fill out this google form, listed below:

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeL9CWRCR4RQddJuqA_JD5VIwbDJFV1IJh6zb7Hojyl0hfQGA/viewform?usp=publish-editor

- and I will get back to you as soon as possible. We are looking for 3-4 Players. If you do not recieve a response in two weeks, assume that the poll is closed. If you do recieve a response, we will see each other shortly...

Thank you, and have a great time!

GM Needed by Existing Group Dark Victorian Game, Light Steampunk, Gothic Horror [Online][GMT-05][5e 2024][Flexible][GURPS]

• Upvotes

Hello fellow roleplayers. I'm looking for a GM for a 1-on-1 game experience. I have a setting concept that's been rattling around for quite a while but anything I've put together is subject to change after a discussion with the GM.

Essentially, imagine a game of dark robed cultists, slinking vampires, corrupt police, decadent nobles and fat merchants living in a massive low-fantasy city based on Victorian London or New York. Those corrupt police I mentioned? They're just trying to keep some semblance of order and survive their nightly patrol, with msot people not even believing in the supernatural, or possibly harboring some old family superstitions.

I'm in my 30s and am looking for a GM of at least 25 years who is in North America or the UK. I have a simple system in mind for the game, Rider, based on Traveler's engine. But I'm flexible, with even some possibility of playing this in 5e (much as I dislike the system normally).

PM me your Discord info and let's set up a call to talk and see if we mesh well. Don't be shy!

Player(s) Needed by GM (Online) (2014 5e) (Tuesday 6pm EST) (No AI) Looking for new players who want to learn Dungeons and Dragons!

Hello!

I'm an experienced Dungeon Master who's been playing since 5e was released when I was 9.

For years the only people I had to play with included my family, and we couldn't play often. This was frustrating for me because I loved the game so much. When I got a bit older, I started using LFG. It was hard too because many tables fell apart quickly, and my inexperience made it hard to play with some veteran players.

I got into DMing after that, around 2018. Since then, I've gained over 5000 hours of DM experience and have a long running game with friends that are practically my family.

I really want to be able to give someone else an easier start to this game than I had, so, I wanted to run a game exclusively for people starting to learn 5e.

**DM me a bit about yourself if you fit these prerequisites:**

You must be a beginner. When you DM me, please explain what of the game you have played and what experience you have.

You want to play a classic fantasy story starting at low levels in 2014 5e (if you don't know the difference between 2014 and 2024, no problem. They're very similar.)

You are a team player with an open mind. Ready to learn and share this new experience with other new players.

I will not DM for children here, you must be of high school age minimum. Also, if you're a child, get off reddit!

You are committed to playing Mondays or Tuesdays and have consistent availability starting at 6 PM Eastern Standard Time.

Finally, please tell me about what you want out of D&D. Is it friendship, a story to tell, enjoyment of combat, roleplaying, whatever draws you to this incredible game.

This game will be discord and Roll20, you need a working mic, cameras optional though I find they help significantly. The process will be a DM conversation on reddit, then a call on discord to make sure everything's good. LGBTQ+ are very welcome here, this will be an inclusive space. No AI will be used in this game.

Group Needed by Player [Online][Flexible] Looking for a breath of fresh air and a new game.

Hii! I'm Sev (any/all) and I'm looking to join a new group for online gaming. I usually go for modern or cyberpunk games but I can work with pretty much anything.

I didn't include a time clock because my schedule is really weird and I'm open to international play. I can't really speak anything besides English well enough to roleplay, unfortunately. I'm looking for a game Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday after 9PM EST (UTC-5 in like a week since the US still uses Daylight Savings) or Friday anytime from like 12PM to 6PM.

A little about me, I've been GMing for about 7 years and playing for just as long, I'd like to think I'm very flexible in terms of the characters I can play and the kind of game and group I can work with. I'm familiar with a LOT of systems and don't mind crunchier or high effort RPGs. I do work and school both full time hence my weird schedule, I'm an office admin for a music school and I'm studying forensic psychology. I also write a lot in my free time.

I'm really bad at checking Reddit PMs but my Discord is "inciopath" if you think I'd fit well with your game! Also, large groups are fine but not interested in Westmarches or community RP!

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online] [SavageWorlds] [Trailer Park Shark Attack][Friday 10/30/26 7pm CDT] LF 2-3 more trailer Parker’s.

Welcome to Sunny Creek Chateau located in some 💩 hole part of Florida (I know that doesn't narrow it down much). You are either a resident or someone that found yourself at the Park, that could be to buy some drugs, or pick up your date, or to drop off your date, it could be to deliver some documents or to hunt down a fugitive. Why you are here will be of little consequence once the fun starts...

This is 18+, the characters you can play are caricatures of Florida trailer park trash, this will include meth dealers, strippers, drunk Santa’s, and much much more. If you ever wanted to play Florida person, this is your chance. Violence will be common and brutal. Players will die and likely often. However there be almost zero downtime, as the list of characters you can play are a few dozen.

We have 4 parkers and looking for 1-2 more. This shines the best at 6.

It is an amazing module that is chaotic and wild.

About me I’m 43 he/him, been in the hobby for 30 years. I absolutely love running one shots for new people. I am a big fan of running b-movie like scenarios where we can just let loose and we come up with wild and crazy stories. I have ran this module at a few cons and online, we have always had a great time.

This is beginner friendly, so don’t worry if you have never played a ttrpg or are unfamiliar with Savage Worlds. We will be using discord for voice and rolls and Canva as the VTT. The module takes about 4-5 hours.

DM me and tell me why this interests you.

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online][EST][D&D 5e 2014/2024][Daggerheart][Fabula Ultima] Looking for 3 to 5 players to start a collaborative homebrew campaign!

Yes, I'm still looking!

Hey there!

I'm looking to start a new campaign for a total of 3 to 5 players.

About the Game:
The concept for the campaign is thus: you and your party are part of a delivery crew, and you've each got your own reasons for being there, but the goal for each of you is the same: get your jobs done, get paid, and get to the next one. One week you're tasked with delivering growling crates that break open en route, then you spend the next week trying to track down and subduing your hostile package. Next time you're to escort a dignitary to a major city and end up sucked into another plane or dimension on your way there. Episodic and serialized, but there will be throughlines and narrative development, but adventure is the core. Stakes may rise as the campaign goes on, but that'll happen naturally!

This can be a world spanning adventure, interplanetary, or small in scale. The party will contribute to the setting as much as I do with the aim being a campaign in which each player and each character feels at home and wholly involved in.

About the GM:
I've been playing and DMing RPGs for a little over a decade. I've dabbled in a number of systems and may pull ideas from across the board, but most of my time has been in D&D 5e. Outside of RPGs, I play a fair shake of video games, read, spend time outdoors, and learn stuff (I'm fluent in Japanese)!

I do a lot of story writing in my personal time, so bringing that aspect to my games is the reason I DM. I can't promise to make every session a perfect balance of combat and social encounters, nor can I guarantee a perfect sharing of the spotlight, but I can and do promise to make my best effort at evening both aspects out across sessions.

Logistics:
Platform: Owlbear Rodeo Voice: Discord Schedule: One day per week, somewhere in the window of 5 PM and 9 PM (US East), Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. Exact day and time TBD. Session zero will precede scheduled start and will happen when everyone is available. I will also ask that all applicants make time for a short voice chat!
Frequency: Weekly
Players needed: Between 3 and 5 (hard limit on 5 players max)

Safety and Socialization: I'm an adult and I require all players be, too. This includes being at least 18 and behaving accordingly. I will submit anonymous surveys to collect information on lines and veils as well as set up tools in Owlbear to ensure safety. I maintain an open-door policy and invite players to message me at any time about absolutely anything, regardless of how serious or related to the campaign it is. To make sure you've read this post and this very important section, please open your message to me with the current date. Acceptance and tolerance are non-negotiable. There is absolutely no room for hate at my tables.

Rules and Homebrew:
I want to run this as a fantasy adventure using D&D or Daggerheart, or as a sci-fantasy using Fabula Ultima, and will make the determination based on player interest. For those of you who, like me, want to get away from D&D: please understand that numbers usually end up working out to be in favor of D&D.

Homebrew content is usually fine, as long as I have access to it to ensure we're on the same page. There are rules I like to borrow from other systems and will gauge what the party thinks of them before pulling them and will always make clear when a RAW will be overwritten going forward. If you have ideas for a character and aren't sure which class or subclass to run with, I really enjoy designing them and would be happy to accommodate requests within reason.

Contact:
If you're interested, please send me a DM! Be sure to introduce yourself, and I urge you to make sure you've read the post carefully!

Player(s) Needed by GM [Other] [Online] [Sunday 1pm CST] Sparks in the Fog, a Fabula Ultima western

”Be not afraid of any man that walks beneath the skies. The big he be or small you be, I will equalize”

Welcome everyone! I come to you today looking for players for a fabula Ultima game. Fabula Ultima is a beginner friendly ttrpg inspired by classic Jrpg’s, and is a game I am more than willing to teach everyone! This particular game is a western inspired setting fueled by fire, with more details shared below!

The world of Ignira has known only one god. Sula to some, Sol to others. The great whale of fire burns bright in the sky, dying with the sunset to seed the earth with new life. Reborn in the morning to give fire to the world once more.

Magic in this world comes from fire. The great gifts from Sol blessing all with the skill to call upon them.

In this world, the primary system of magic is fire. All* magic comes from flame and heat. Most everyone in the setting has some blessing of flame, making magic the standard.

With the blazing sun overhead, much of the world is dry, cultures arising in the deserts and badlands. Much of this world is inspired by the American west, which is the main aesthetic for this game. That being said, I have not filled out the map. Players are encouraged to come with ideas. Fleshing out this world together is my goal, and there are no ideas off the table.

The other half of this setting are the mists. When the sun sets, and the great beasts howl, a cold mist rolls through the valley, signaling to all that monsters prowl. During the night, the suns magic grows weak, and the creatures of the night roam free. The dead lurk in the wisps of night, and you’d best be careful not to join them. Tales tell of drifters and witches that walk the lonely night, eager to make deals. Sol cannot save you here.

If you are interested, please message me with the following answers!
Preferred name:
Preferred pronouns:
Age (just a range is fine, just making sure nobody is a minor):
Experience with fabula Ultima: (none is chill! Happy to teach):
Experience with ttrpgs in generals
Favorite character archetype:
And a fun fact about yourself:

Player(s) Needed by GM [Offline][Greensboro,NC][Other] Looking to run a Fallout 2d20 game!

Are you tired of D&D? Want to try another system? Enjoy the serious nature of post-apocalyptia, backdropped by humor and zany antics?

Join me in playing the Fallout 2D20 TTRPG by Modiphius, an affiliate of Vault-Tec!

We would likely play a short (2-4 sessions) starter adventure, and then play a longer campaign like Winter of Atom (30-50 sessions).

Unsure if you’re interested in Fallout 2d20? I’d highly recommend checking out Fistful of Neutrons by War Games News Radio on YouTube, or Fallout: Evergreen by Respect the Crit on wherever you listen to podcasts.

I’m currently available all day on Saturdays, and on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings. If you’re interested, reach out to me on Reddit or on Discord (ARainbowDude). I’m looking for 4-5 players, depending on the day we agree on I may have one or two people already interested.

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online][BST/GMT][5E 2014][LGBTQ+ Friendly][New Players Welcome] Squires of Ihin

Hi! I'm looking for 1 player to join an ongoing campaign. New players welcome. LGBTQ friendly. Weekly on Monday at 18:30 GMT (2nd, 3rd, and 4th Monday of each month). Hosted on Roll 20 and Discord.

First session: 9th November 2026. We will do an informal interview / character creation session sometime before then at a time that works best for you.

I’ve been a DM for 5 years and I like to run role-play heavy campaigns with player focused stories and big combat encounters. The core party have been playing together for two years with some substitutions. We’re halfway through our second campaign and we’re looking to find a 5th adventurer to fill out the group. The party are really good at supporting other players and engaging in roleplay.

Character creation: Players made all of their characters during session 0. Random rolls were used to generate the NPC heroes, then players made their characters as assistants. You can be a family member, knightly squire, romantic partner, childhood rival, or any other relationship you can think of to the main hero and their country. The aim of this process was for players to help in the creation of the world and determine what the campaign story is!

Brief intro: Six countries separated by decades of war and secrets must come together to save the world from extra-planar invasion. Once every thousand years a single hero from each nation is selected to deal with dimensional rifts opening across the continent. You will be playing as assistants, squires, butlers, bodyguards to the supposed wisest, strongest, and best equipped champions of Ihin.

Applications
Thank you for reading this listing and if you are interested please reply here or send me a DM with the following answers:

Name:
Discord ID:
Pronouns:
Country/Timezone:
Do you have a clear microphone and a quiet place to play?:
What got you into D&D?
What type of characters do you like to play (or would like to play in the future)?
What are you looking for in a D&D campaign?

Player(s) Needed by GM [Cyberpunk] (Red) [Online] [PbP] [LGBTQ+] [18+] Everybody Wants to be Famous [NO AI ALLOWED]

(Asynchronous Play By Post Game)

The Time of the Red is a veritable gold rush for edgerunners, with corps, gangs, nomads, posers, execs, fixers, and everyone in between hiring help to scratch and claw their way up the Night City ladder. But you know better than that, the way to get rich during a gold rush isn't to mine, it's to sell shovels.

Our party has a simple goal; to open the best goddamn bar in Night City. While every other gonk with a handgun is looking for their next big contract so they can blow it all on synthcoke, our players are going to invest. Own the place slinging drinks, hosting fixers, hooking up solos with their next new piece. Even among the best of the best with their iron, your life expectancy gets a lot longer when you don't have to use it.

Let's get into some quick rules for the campaign before we go any further. No bigots, no AI (for text or images), no out-of-character assholes. Cyberpunk is a dark setting, but I don't want any monsters in the party. I'm not looking for anyone who's character is some sort of serial killer, predator, or anything else. I'm only looking for folks 18 and older for this campaign.

I'd like to shy away from extreme or especially dark content being shown on-screen. Some things will be referenced, but they won't be depicted. To give an example, a character could mention a child in their family's death, but there'll be no scenes in the campaign itself where we describe harm to children. Player-specific lines & veils will be collected before we play and made publicly visible so that everyone knows what lines not to cross.

Cyberpunk is similarly a sexualized setting, but the game itself will not involve erp or explicit sexual content. We'll be drawing the line at suggestive references, flirting, and fade-to-black for any time characters would actually engage in it. If you would that other characters not flirt with your PC, that's a completely fine line to establish and it will be respected.

I'm looking for players who can commit to frequent posts during the day for the central time zone, at least a post a day. I think PBP is easier if we can commit to consistent activity! Format wise, the players will not always have to adventure together. I think that it makes narrative sense if we have times where everyone works as a party and times where we split off into smaller groups or solo scenes as people chase different leads and check out different scenes! In cases like this, I'll split the group up into different channels and if one finishes early, we'll wait up until the other scene(s) are done. I'm thinking about six players total for this.

This is being played in the Time of the Red, specifically 2045. Night City 2045 is our lore bible for this, I'd prefer players with some familiarity with Red's world specifically over people coming from just the game/show as Night City's quite different here than it is in 2077.

As for allowed mechanical content, basically all of the CP:R expansions are on the table save for content specific to the Edgerunners books, since those are set in the future. Most of these little expansions are free and can be found on R. Talsorian's website for download. One thing to note is that I am -not- interested in Netrunners for PCs, sadly I just don't enjoy CPR's netrunning rules very much and I find it can bog down play. The party is going to have plenty of opportunities to recruit NPC netrunners to help them out so that those mechanics can be left off-screen.

The party is not being held together by some sort of external force like a shared employer, so you'll all have to know each other at the start of the campaign, somehow. One of you could be hired help, a friend of a friend, or just happening to be there for a first job before getting wrapped up in things. We can obviously talk details together and work things out as a group, but somehow, you will all decide to open a bar together. It's entirely allowed for that not to be your character's goal at the start of the campaign, but that's something they must come to pursue at some point.

Our first arc of the story will be simple; raising the money to open the bar. The amount required depends on the district chosen, which'll influence a lot of who you're rubbing elbows with as you go about everything you have to get done in order to get the place kicking. There'll be a large emphasis on characters, connections, and roleplay during this campaign, with who you choose to make friends with having a large impact on the opportunities available to your characters.

Starting with our act 2, the bar can have it's grand opening and we can focus on all the drama and complications that come with. Getting caught up in gang disputes over turf, corps trying to muscle in on your business opportunities, reaping the benefits of your various connections and learning that making a friend can sometimes make you an enemy you didn't know existed. All of this attempts to serve the goal of your bar becoming the hotspot for edgerunners in the city, a place where they can make teams, get contracts, and live life in NC to the fullest. You'll get to witness and impact the arcs of the folks at your bar; maybe you're slinging drinks to the next legend of Night City?

If anyone has any questions I'd be happy to answer them, otherwise, the form to apply is right here.

Player(s) Needed by GM [ONLINE][D&D][5e 2024] Looking for players to begin a new campaign to take place on a weekday, starting at 18:00 EST.

Hello! My name is Leo, I'm 31, and I've been playing DnD for several years now, the last 4 as a DM. The Undead Quest is a homebrew module that I crafted myself and have ran a few times before, adapting and developing the module with each new game! Here is what you need to know about the game:

  • Undead Quest is a classic Good vs Evil story. The kingdom of Monsley to the far southeast has been invaded by a terrible necromancer who assassinated the king, then took over the castle, enveloping it in a deadly miasma that kills the living and raises the dead! For three years the people of Monsley have been trying to hold back the undead hordes, but as the necromnacer's blight spreads through the soil, the water becomes toxic, and growing crops is becoming more and more difficult... A call for help has echoed throughout the four corners of the world, and a small group of adventurers finally decided to answer it, and stop the evil wizard!
  • This campaign would last a few months, potentially 20 sessions depending on player decisions and progress, with the potential of continuing afterwards if people like the game.
  • I'd like a party of at least 3 players and at most 5.
  • Players will begin at level 3, and depending on their choices, the game may end with you level 7.
  • I judge homebrew content by-casis, but obviously I would not allow anything that's overpowered.
  • This is a homebrew world, with its own world map, a pantheon of gods, and many different cities and nations! I have prepared a google doc with detailed information about the lore and the house rules: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1KPdTTAjJ5zI_doDZuX4Uiir14-4clWthzFGI72cEGoY/edit?tab=t.0

This is a game that is not designed to play out power fantasies; you will face difficult challenges, experience losses, and battles where your strategy might be more important than the dice rolls. There will be events with a branching path if you suffer a defeat, or if certain people die.

I try to have a healthy balance between roleplay and combat. Sometimes sessions will be half and half. Sometimes a session can be nothing but roleplay, and sometimes a session can be nothing but combat, it will all depend on player choices and actions, and progress pace.

I like to craft diamond-shaped stories; you will all begin at the same spot, with the same goal (defeat the necromancer), you are free to journey and adventure however you like, and you will ultimately end at the same spot (defeat the necromancer). Whether your characters are good, evil or neutral, you are free to play your characters however you wish, so long as you do not steer away from your main goal of seeking and defeating the BBEG.

Game day will be determined based on availability, but it will definitely take place during a weekday, starting between 18:00 - 19:00 EST time.

As a DM, I am always open to criticism and suggestions. If I make a mistake, don't be afraid to point it out. And likewise, if I must correct or censor you, do not feel personally offended. I am an amateur voice actor, I make use of music bots and battle maps to make things more immersive, and I like to write a lot of dialogue for potential questions, or areas the players might explore.

So! If you are still interested in my game, fill out this form:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfLUIQowPBSomI7d7X9EeuzHh6pMWblhPlN-sgHrDOWZDZqfQ/viewform?usp=publish-editor

I will accept applications until sunday, 01/11/2026, after which I will conduct voice chat interviews with the players, and establish a date to run a session 0.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask them here, or reach out to me through discord at: dalrus

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online][Other][Sundays 12–1 PM ET] INVINCIBLE TTRPG | Year Zero Engine | Recruiting 3–5 Players

INVINCIBLE: What Does It Take to Be a Hero?

System: INVINCIBLE TTRPG (Year Zero Engine)

Platform: Online via Discord, with some VTT support as needed. Primarily theater of the mind.

Schedule: Most Sundays, starting between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM Eastern Time (ET).

Session Length: Approximately 2–4 hours.

Players Wanted: 3–5

Maximum Party Size: 5

Campaign Status: New campaign

The Premise

What if Invincible wasn't invincible?

SPOILERS FOR SEASON ONE OF INVINCIBLE

In another universe, Mark Grayson survived his father's brutal assault.

In this universe, he didn't.

Invincible is dead. Omni-Man has abandoned Earth. The Guardians of the Globe are shattered.

The world has been left to pick up the pieces, and humanity faces an uncertain future without the heroes it once relied upon.

In the aftermath of these events, a new generation of young superheroes must find their place in a world where extraordinary power doesn't guarantee survival, and even the greatest heroes can fall.

Will you rise to the occasion? Will you become the symbol of hope that the world desperately needs? Or will the weight of responsibility prove too much to bear?

Do you have what it takes to be a hero?

Do you have what it takes to be INVINCIBLE?

About the Game

INVINCIBLE TTRPG uses the Year Zero Engine, emphasizing fast, brutal combat, world exploration, and character-driven storytelling.

Each session is structured like an issue of a comic book, allowing players to experience the action, drama, and consequences of life as a superhero.

Expect a darker, more serious tone consistent with the source material, where decisions matter and actions have consequences.

About the GM

Our GM has over 11 years of experience running tabletop RPGs.

His games tend toward darker, more serious storytelling, with an emphasis on collaborative worldbuilding and player agency.

Rather than simply following a predetermined narrative, players are encouraged to help shape the direction of the campaign through their characters, choices, and actions.

Player Expectations

We're looking for players who have:

- A collection of six-sided dice (d6s).

- A stable internet connection and access to Discord.

- Some familiarity with the Invincible comics or television series.

- An interest in learning and trying new tabletop RPG systems.

- A willingness to participate in collaborative storytelling and character development.

You don't need to be an expert in the Year Zero Engine. An enthusiasm for the setting and a willingness to learn are what matter most.

Interested in Joining?

If you're interested, send me a Reddit DM or leave a comment expressing your interest.

Feel free to include a little about yourself, your tabletop RPG experience, and what interests you about playing in the Invincible universe.

We're looking forward to assembling our own team of heroes!
