Welcome to our Wednesday TF2 weapon discussion. Here, we'll discuss weapons (and reskins, if applicable) from TF2!
Today's weapon is The Disciplinary Action.
On Hit Teammate: Boosts both players' speed for several seconds
-25% damage penalty
The Disciplinary Action is an unlockable melee weapon for soldier that gives you a whip. This is soldier's best support melee and overall one of his better options in the slot. It's top 3 for sure.
The way this weapon works is when you whip a teammate they move faster and you also move faster with the boost % varying from class to class:
With these boosted values a boosted pyro will move faster than a non-boosted scout.
This weapon also has an increased range of 70% making it the longest melee in the game (the swords are all 50%) but this weapon does deal 25% less damage meaning you'll deal 49 damage on a regular hit.
An overall excellent weapon for all soldier players to use to make their team like them more.
Feel free to discuss the weapon here. Anything that you like/dislike, cool tips or strategies, interesting stories, etc. If you feel the weapon is not to your liking, feel free to express your opinions in a respectful manner.
For those who wish to learn more about the weapon, you can find the wiki page here:

TF2 has been around for almost two decades at this point, and even more if we count TFC and the original Quake mod, and since the dawn of teufort - the Engineer class was a prominent part of the game that basically invented a whole new way of approaching FPS games.
So I got curious - what you people find so endearing and interesting in the engineer, that makes you want to play him specifically, and whether any of the successors from other games have scratched that itch?

(Costume is a stock scout but I had the wrong hat.)
I’ve decided to do scout, as it fits the look i’m going for more.

Been gone for about 10 years and have been playing again for the last month or so. Hoodoo was my favorite map, but none of the servers seem to have it in rotation anymore. Did they get rid of it?
