I'm a person who was very extroverted when I was younger, around 6-10. And then after is when I started to get bullied and yeah, this exact rant might be one of the most relatable things I've read. Not to mention, it's hard for me to make friends out of school and much less in it. Plus, it's over 40°C by 2:00 PM where I am, and literally everything else here works. I don't get why people don't get this, specifically those who are 18+. // Just wanted to rant, thank you.

Everything feels awful. I barely eat or drink food anymore. I don't like to move around. Going to school feel like a nightmare. I never get enough sleep. My grades are already dropping. I'm genuinely spiraling into insanity rn. I can't think straight anymore. I just keep getting thoughts of killing myself or harming myself. The thought feels so comforting, even though I know it's a terrible thing to do. I've thought about it so many times recently and it won't stop. I just wish it would. I always want to jump off a building, or cut myself, or run into the street and get hit by a car. Every time I'm near something remotely dangerous, I can feel my mind urging myself on to harm myself. I feel so hopeless now. I feel lethargic and I can barely do anything, now all I do is sit around. I can't cry because I'm too dehydrated to do so. My bed is the only thing that gives me comfort. My friends probably don't even like me. I look awful. I just wish for all of this to stop already. I can't stop getting these thoughts of wanting to be a girl. I can't do anything without thinking about that or harming myself. My head feels cloudy and heavy. I don't know why I'm like this, or why God would make me like this, but it's awful. I want to be a girl so bad, but I know nobody would ever accept me in real life. Sure, some random person that I vent to on discord might, but they barely even care. I just wish I was a normal person. My body aches and I feel terrible constantly. The only joy I get from myself are talking to my friends, and that's very rare because somehow I'm a 5th wheel. It feels like nothing is going right for me now. I can't come out to anyone over fears of being scrutinized or attacked because of what I am. Recently I got flooded with thoughts of being gay, so that's another thing to get on my self-repression and suicidal inclinations list. I've been genuinely doing self-harm recently. Nothing serious, I'm too scared of getting caught for that, but I've begun cutting up my skin with tiny things like paper clips. Many others probably have experienced worse than me though. I just feel so tired all the time now. I know you guys aren't therapists or know me personally, I just needed to vent a bit.

hi. as you can see from the attached image, my GEOMETRY has decided to full force make me answer t or f questions about CHRISTIANITY. and you know damn well if I put what they don’t like I’ll be marked wrong. NO SHOCK to ANYONE that this is a conservative Christian curriculum and that I’m homeschooled. there’s really nothing more I need to say about it. it’s absolutely ridiculous and such an echo chamber cult. I cannot WAIT to get out for college.

edit: adding a few things since I’m getting a lot of the same questions.

1. I’m doing geometry as a senior because I did both algebras and precalc a year earlier than public schools do and skipped over geometry so now I’m just making up for it.

3. yes, my parents are aware and intentionally bought this curriculum at a discount during a Christian convention. I’ve had this fuckass curriculum for three years now.
4. the questions are so random and unrelated to geometry in that one section shown because the lesson was about statements and true values in geometry. they give the weirdest examples for you to answer so you can apply it everywhere I guess. it’s also a true/false/not an identifiable statement test. number 3 and 6 are not strictly true or false everyone was so confused lol.
5. for the love of GOD I am not calling ALL of Christianity a cult!! but being in the SOUTH in a conservative state and COC is DEFINITELY the making of a cult and an echo chamber!!! I do not care if you get offended by that!! when literally everything you look at here is trying to convert you that is not normal!! and please READ THE ROOM!! you can be religious, I do not care, but PLEASE stop telling me Jesus loves me in my comments 😭

I can’t go on my phone at all during school and when my dad comes home, I can’t go out, I need to keep my door open (hinges come of if I don’t!!), no IPad so no commissions, and my boyfriend can’t come over for a month. They said that since I don’t get into trouble often, I need to be treated harshly when I do. I’m so tired.

First of all, that's not what a pedophile is, let's just get that out of the way. Second of all, the law is not gonna care if you're 19 and you're dating someone who is 17. The law is not gonna care if you're 18 and you're dating someone who's 16. That's a two-year age difference. Some states literally have laws protecting this, Romeo and Juliet laws. Stop worrying about a two-year age difference! If you were 19 dating 15-year-old, that's a whole different story. But a two year age difference isn't something you should be bothered about.

I don't think my state has Romeo and Juliet laws, but the age of consent here is 17. So an 18/19-year-old can date a 17-year-old. edit 2: in states that don't have Romeo and Juliet laws, I feel like as long as you guys aren't having sex, then you should be good. Im (18f) a very shy person, like VERY shy, hermit type. I found a guy (19) that liked my whimsy and compared me to the beauty of nature. For his birthday I made him these needle felted patches. I pinned some bugs for him too, cicadas, (im not gonna post them here just to make sure I dont ick anyone) and i was about to mail it to him. I found out I was just a temporary replacement for him. I was there comforting him during his body dysmorphia and he was there during my episodes. :(

This is one thing about media that just sucks. Instead of entering with a presumption of innocence, a lot enter with a presumption of pure, unadulterated guilt. Instead of allowing the accused to represent themselves, they immediately slam them down as ‘rapists’ without actually giving them a fair chance.

We’re even seeing this affect the actual case itself. The main investigator AG James made posts on X where she called the student's allegations "horrific and unacceptable" and declared "to all survivors: you're not alone." This shows a clear bias towards the subject, and she shouldn’t be allowed to investigate this matter.

It’s just disgusting. There’s no more due process anymore. It’s guilty until proven innocent when a case enters the public space, even if these industries claim it’s ’innocent until proven guilty’.

I (18F) am finishing up high school, and due to AuDHD, am in the neurodivergent room at school. This room has plants (pictured, though not all of them.), and I've been the one watering them. My teachers (50sF and unknownM, we'll call them Mrs N and Mr G) found that very helpful. They also know that I like blue raspberry Jolly Ranchers, since they're used as a reward for me. Today, when I got up to the room, Mr G told me he had something to show me, and after I put down my things and came to his desk, he showed me an AI generated picture of me surrounded by potted plants and blue crystals meant to be Jolly Ranchers, and holding a PS4 controller (I wear headphones all the time for sensory reasons, so I suppose that's where the AI got the controller.). He said he'd print it out and put it on the wall and give me a copy, and even though I told him I don't support AI art, he said he'll print it out anyway. Mrs N was sitting at her desk in the back, working with another student, and she didn't say anything about it. The worst part is that I can't do anything about it, since he currently holds authority over me.
