You can tell the fraternities in Monsters University are fictional because they don’t sexually assault anybody.

default At the end of Shrek Forever After (2010) since nobody but him remembers the alternate reality, by the point of view of everyone he just invited his family and friends to torture a random hobo and kill his pet

Turd The fact Han Solo and Princess Leia share a passionate kiss immediately before he was frozen in carbonite in The Empire Strikes Back (1980), means he probably had a boner that lasted until he was dethawed in Return of the Jedi (1983).

In The Goonies, explorer Chester Copperpot had an original Lou Gehrig baseball card in his wallet. If the Goonies had stopped here, that card was probably worth more than the pirate treasure.

In Project Hail Mary (2026), it's easier to train an exobiologist to be an astronaut than it is to train an astronaut to be an exobiologist. However, it would be much funnier if we just didn't train him to be an astronaut at all.

Turd In Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone(2001), Draco Malfoy is a boy instead of a blonde anime girl for some odd reason

Just watched Wildwood. The whole movie, all 194,400 frames of hand animated, each frame taken an hour to make. And every frame of that is a very subtle reference how I will not amount to anything in this life. This is a goddamn masterpiece. Go see the movie!

Turd Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother (2026) is the first film to take its title from an argument with a twelve-year-old in an online game lobby

default In Wildwood (2026) you just know these two probably smell fucking terrible
I’ve met a few of these new-age hippy types. Deodorant is harmful to their soul or some shit but skunked-out, 47% ABV IPAs and gas station mushroom gummies are fine

Turd In Avengers: Infinity War (2018), this scene was put to show Peter Quill's questionable geography knowledge, not as a reference to him being abducted by aliens at an early age, but as a reference to him being half-American.

default In Starship Troopers (1997), the annihilation of Buenos Aires is met with widespread anger from the citizens of the world. This is because they are furios that the aliens managed to beat them to the punch.

In Ringu (1998) This guy had exactly 1 min and 6 seconds to get out of the house after the girl climbed from the TV but he just stared like an idiot and therefor deserved to die.
I timed it.

default In Joker: Folie à Deux Todd Philips shows that beyond copying Taxi Driver and King Of Comedy, he also likes to copy a web series about an angry nerd playing video games

Turd In A Bug’s Life (1998), not only are the ants dumb enough to place the food supplies on an unstable foundation that predictable fails, but they end up using that same flawed design structure later in the movie. This is because they are MINDLESS, SOIL SHOVING LOSERS!

Turd Not only did "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" (1988) mark an important milestone in the toon civil-rights movement, it was also the first film to feature human-toon relations on live television. This paved the way to legalize toon-human marriage just 10 years later across 49 out of 56 states.
The actors portraying Roger Rabbit and Eddie Valiant, namely Jack Hare and Marcus Anthrop, eloped shortly after.

default The scariest part of Poltergeist II: The Other Side (1986) is when they don’t do any cheesy supernatural special effects stuff and just let this guy act.

In The Witch (2015), Satan (Daniel Malik) goes undercover as a goat to rescue a teenager (Anya Taylor-Joy) from her family, a cult of fanatical followers of the tyrant Jehovah who subjected her to constant, horrific abuse, up to and including naming her Thomasin and trying to murder her

Turd In Tron: Legacy (2010), Sam looks at his father’s library with Tolstoy and Dostoevsky books and unironically says “Light reading”. That’s because Sam is a prodigy programmer and motorcyclist, the books he reads are much heavier

In Despicable Me 3 (2017), Gru remarks that Margo is "12. She looks 12, and will always be 12." This is a subtle nod to the fact that they are all stuck on a limbo where this franchise just won't end.

You Can See Everything (2026) was rated R for “graphic nudity”. This is a reference to the fact that you can see everything.
(Apologies if someone has made this joke already)
