I like how convenient the Doha Metro system is, but what's going on outside Al Aziziya Station needs urgent attention.

The taxi touting inside and outside the exit has become uncomfortably aggressive. Drivers are literally peeping into phones to check if you're ordering a taxi.

Sometimes they will swarm you 3 at a time.

Kinda reminds me of Nairobi 🤦🏽‍♂️

Can people PLEASE let passengers get off the Qatar Metro before trying to get on?
One of the most frustrating things about using the metro in Qatar is how people crowd around the doors and immediately rush to get inside the moment the train stops, without even giving passengers a chance to get off. Sometimes you literally have to squeeze your way out through a wall of people pushing to get in. This is basic common sense and simple courtesy, not rocket science. LET PEOPLE GET OFF FIRST, THEN GET ON. Step aside, leave the doorway clear, and wait a few seconds. It’s not that difficult, and it makes the whole process faster and more comfortable for everyone. Qatar Metro users really need to start being more mindful of others and follow basic boarding etiquette. And honestly, this is something that should be actively encouraged through clear announcements and signs at stations. If everyone wants a smoother commute, start by respecting the people who are trying to get off the train. Stop pushing in and let people out first! Does anyone else find this incredibly annoying?
