We think there have been many threads with well-thought-out, specific, and (sometimes) controversial proposals, but also many duplicate threads with the same proposals. We'll use this thread to catalogue and group the clearest and most common ones:

ProliferateMyBrothers predates Ascendancies, when Act 4 was just a twinkle in Chris Wilson's eye. He was originally a Cold Snap + Fire Trap proliferation Elemental Equilibrium abuser, holding down Ledge parties by perma freezing Kuduku while the other members stood in awe wondering why nothing was moving. He survived the days of ?oos and went on to farm many Merciless Fellshrines until ready for maps. I can't remember actually doing any maps with him though.
He now resides in Hardcore League. Never attempting to make it past Act 4, he has retired and lives out a stallion's life in Highgate where he tries to chat up Kira and tell her about the good old days.

As of now, I just feel that the spell totem support downside is too harsh. With ballista totem, we get +2, and also another potential +2 on the tree. With spell totem, you are always force to play hiero (or scion) for +1, and multiple totem becomes mandatory further reducing the damage, that it is just a QOL to summon 2 totems rather than a damage boost.
Hopefully, spell totems get some love in 3.30 or future leagues with some of the following implemented.
(Mastery 30% is just not reliable).

Yes, that's right!
I'm working most weekends. Not all, but most. And as luck wills it, the last league i was free for a couple days at launch was Legion in 2019!
Since then, each and every league in PoE and PoE2 EA was when i'm working anywhere between 8 and 12h saturday and sunday. I do play the opening weekend. But get at most like 8 or 10h in from friday evening till monday afternoon. At my pace nowadays, just enough to be somewhere close to 2 stones.
Then i am free for 2 days and i do make it up, but it's not the same.
This one, the 3.30, is the first one since Legion i am FREE for the weekend. I will live the thrill of the launch, all the server issues, bugs and the race to get "ahead of the curve"...
I come home from work a bit before the launch and then work monday afternoon!!
My wife is going to her parents with our daughter. Everything lined up so perfectly after so long...
I am gona teenage no life the league start and i'm soooo excited about that!
There, just wanted to share that!

Salutations Exiles, I am looking for a Noob anywhere from 25-250 hours (little more/little less is ok) who is looking to get better at the game. I want to help someone who struggles in white maps get to uber bosses.
I will babysit you, answer questions, fix your pob, teach you a little about how to farm things, from league start until I quit the league.
I will give you nothing other than the knowledge on how to succeed, Zero items will be provided, not a single chaos.
My Credentials: I have 4500~ish hours played (my friend group has 25k~ hours) and I like farming a mageblood in the first week or so only to make a build that can't use one. (I have also killed every uber, because that one guy was talking shit so I had to include it)
Requirements: be 20+, don't be a weird chud, play more than 30 minutes per week, that's about it
If there are a lot of you I might be able to do more than one but I also gotta have time to play the game

TL/DR: You can't sell legacy currencies on faustus or put them into async tabs since the beginning of this league (was working fine before)
I understand that most people here only play leagues so this could be irrelevant to you but i still want to get some more visibility on this issue:
Before curse of the allflame released you could sell legacy currencies by using the asyinc trade tabs, since they were not present in the currency exchange (this wasn't ideal because of stack limits of normal tabs but was ok).
During (and after) the "Tota" event GGG decided to add all legacy tattoos to the currency exchange and disable the ability to sell them with async tabs.
This worked fine during the event and between the end of the event and the beginning of the current league, but since then all legacy currencies have lost their gold value and instead show a "?", preventing you from listing them from trade.
This would not be an issue if you could list them inside merchant tabs like before, but that is no longer possible.
It would be nice if at least the old functionality was restored.
Thanks for reading and have a nice day.

Finally convinced myself to try a str-stacking build and minmaxxed it to my abilities. I can say that str-stackers + wanders is really playing the game in a different way if you managed to make it online. Though glass-cannon like, It can do all content and can 1-shot ubers easily.
Reached 1.3B DPS in poeninja.

I've been playing Poe On and off for about 15 years. I tried poe 2 but didn't like it, compared to PoE 1 theres never been a game comparable for me. I'm still a noob after all this time, I think my Main account maxes out at like 3m dps in standard. But I still love running around and whacking monsters. To this day I still haven't beaten several of the bosses but the game is still great.

PoE 2 addict trying PoE 1 and having trouble with Pohx’s Righteous Fire Chieftain build.
After reaching level 90+ I’ve been unsure what direction to go with the build, as well as having survivability and damage issues.
I see other variants of the build using energy shield or using other uniques rather than what Pohx has in the build. What would be the best direction for damage and survivability especially considering I’ve felt very poor so far and I’m not sure the best way of making currency in this game.
Was originally aiming to complete a majority of the challenges to get some of the cosmetics, but i’m starting to think I don’t know enough of this games mechanics or that I won’t be able to get strong enough to get them done in time for league end.

A few days ago I posted on Reddit answering questions about aurabotting, and ended up compiling the most common things people kept asking about party play in general. That turned into writing an actual guide.
Right now the compendium is about 50% done - it covers how party play works in PoE, what to expect going in, where and how to find/work with carries, and the fundamentals of building an aurabot.
What's still missing: PoBs, leveling, and endgame farming strategies. That part is taking longer than I expected, because I don't want to just dump finished PoBs without context. An aurabot can be built a dozen different valid ways depending on budget and carry type — if I hand you a finished build with variants and no explanation, you can copy it, but you won't understand why it's set up that way, how to upgrade it step by step, or what to swap to make it cheaper or stronger. That part needs to be done right, not fast.
Link to what's written so far: https://mobalytics.gg/poe/profile/ggroodd-ebwrjd/guides/cb658f4d-890c-419f-b01f-8aceaf0318f4
Happy to answer questions in the comments, and I'll keep updating the doc as the rest gets finished.

Hello everyone! 3.30 is coming up, so I thought I'd present you with a very early-game build you can use to clear your atlas on leaguestart. The build in question is an Absolution + SRS Guardian, and judging by PoE Ninja, this combination is rarely used. Fingers crossed that GGG doesn't kick minions in the nuts next patch, now that I'm posting this early!
**PoB:** https://pob.codes/b/fHCUjMBlgK0
**Leaguestart practice run:** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRajk5C2F9A&t=41513s
Note that I don't use boat crafting in this run, since we don't know whether it'll be present in 3.30. I also don't use any of the free 5-links from the campaign. Instead, I farm my first 5-link from Breach.
---
Minions don't get a lot of love from top speedrunners, which I think is a shame. SRS Guardian, often considered the SSF staple for quick atlas progression, simply can't compete with the likes of slammers and cold dotters. I think this comes down to differences in scaling.
In a race scenario, SRS scales hard up to red maps, but then it falls off due to its poor mapping capabilities. Your scaling options rely on levels, gem levels, and expensive spectres. The latter is out of the question if you want to complete your atlas quickly, which further handicaps you.
Moreover, minion survivability becomes an issue. If you don't invest in it, your damage will be severely limited. If you want to compete as a minion player, you're forced to consider other options.
I'd like to propose one such option, based on a simple design philosophy:
**Combine a long-lasting or permanent, sturdy minion with an easy-to-summon minion.**
The synergy comes from the Minion Defence Mastery, which lets your minions recover 5% of their life when a minion dies. The playstyle then becomes a sort of ramping strategy, where you focus on summoning sturdy minions and getting them ramped up while keeping them alive with your easy-to-summon minions.
The goal is simply to move around and dodge while keeping all your minions up and letting their auto-targeting do its work.
This is hardly an original concept, but I still don't see many players using this design during their leaguestart progression. Perhaps it's because it requires a diligent playstyle, but then again, so does any playstyle if you want to be quick. Or you could, of course, play RF, hehe.
Absolution and SRS are one combination that fits this design philosophy. Absolution provides the sturdy minions, while SRS provides the machinery that keeps them alive once they've ramped up. Furthermore, Absolution and SRS complement each other well:
- Absolution is a strong mapper, while SRS is a weak mapper.
- Absolution summons a few sturdy minions, while SRS summons lots of fragile ones.
- Together, Absolution and SRS provide decent single-target damage.
From levels 1–12, we take advantage of the great synergy between the Templar's physical damage and minion damage nodes and run Spectral Throw. From level 12 onward, we simply switch to Absolution.
As soon as possible, we'll start fishing for a Vaal Absolution, so spend your Vaal Orbs on Absolution skill gems until you get one.
Initially, we'll run Absolution as a hybrid spellcaster, combining the damage we deal with our own hits with the damage dealt by our minions. We'll stick with this approach until around level 28, when we're about to finish our first lab. At that point, we'll transition to a full minion playstyle by adding SRS as well.
From here on, we cruise!
The build becomes reasonably tanky with high life and capped or near-capped block chance. Note that if you get a shield on which you can craft "increased chance to block attacks," I'd definitely do so.
I also like to complete the fourth lab before taking on any pinnacle bosses. The four-second life regen from the Guardian's ascendancy is quite strong.
Since I'm sharing this primarily as a demonstration of a trade league minion leaguestart, I haven't included any loadouts that are significantly stronger than the build at the point of atlas completion. Any new item in the "farming" loadout is either a very cheap unique or something I'll reuse for the build I'll eventually transition into.
Also, apologies for spamming my practice run across a few threads! I should have just made this post in the first place.
Hope you enjoy!
**P.S.** If you're interested in a similar build from a design perspective, here's an unpolished AW Necromancer: https://pobb.in/UhoCvdEEqgOE
It has its own strengths and weaknesses compared to the Guardian, but it can also go fast.

Hello guys, i am fairly new into poe in general and i just finished campaign on my 2nd character in the league and i wonder what should i do. On my first character i finished atlas so levels came naturally but obviously my atlas is all finished now. I am level 64 right now and i wonder whether i should just run maps to level up, or maybe do some farms but i have reservations about that because i will need to run low level maps right?
Do you have any tips for me?

Hey guy’s!
I’m looking to improve my skills and prepare for the next league. My main goals are to get into maps faster, obtain my 4 Voidstones as quickly as possible, and learn when to start a farming strategy and which strategies are the most efficient in the very early stages of a league.
This league, I finished the campaign in 4h48, got 2 Voidstones within 10 hours, and bought carries for the other two.
I know that learning from experienced players and watching their league starts from 3.29 is a great way to improve. Naturally, I looked at Ben, but since he plays SSF, his progression might not be directly applicable to trade league.
I’d really appreciate any recommendations for content creators who are worth watching if I want to learn and improve my league start.
I’m also happy to hear any advice, tips, or resources you think could help me improve!
Thanks in advance!

Hello fellow exiles, this is a follow up from my previous question. New Zealand immigration keeps denying my requests for escalation with automated replies and the hotline people say that nothing can be done except sending escalation request again. I have tried 3 times now and have provided all the information but it did not qualify for escalation.
My last possible day to get approval is this friday, afterwards I am getting charged for everything I have booked (some already can't be refunded). So if it's possible to give away the 2 tickets that I have it would be great (surely there are people already in NZ who would want to go) I will also email GGG support shortly, I am a little devastated now and maybe I will do it in the morning.
Excuse me if I am not using flairs correctly.
Stay sane exiles

Can’t believe Keepers of the Flame is almost here, only a few days left until October 31. I’ve been theorycrafting for weeks and I still can’t decide on a league starter, especially with the new bloodline ascendancies. What are yall rolling?

Just recently started playing POE again after a while off, didnt change any settings, yet my screen begins to flicker for some reason.
Ive already tried messing with my AMD settings but to no use.
Also Its ONLY when playing POE no other game does this to me.
Im also sitting at a steady 165FPS so my specs arent the issue..
Any ideas are gladly appreciated

I have done PS of the Archmage totems in the past, and while it didn't feel as strong as I was expecting, I think it still functioned as I expected. But when I thought about it, I realized Manabond does not function correctly with totems, at least according to the wiki:
Spell Totem Support: The totem will always cast the largest version of the spell, since it will be based on the totem's maximum mana, which is always 0. The totem will also not gain any additional damage from missing mana.
That makes enough sense from a balance perspective (though then I wonder if Mjolnir is holding the skill back from being stronger due to the zero cost triggers it gives), but here is the wording for the Manabond skill:
Deals base Lightning Damage equal to (25-44)% of missing Unreserved Mana
And here is the wording for the Power Siphon of the Archmage skill:
Deals Added Lightning Damage equal to (15-24)% of maximum Mana
So why do they function differently with totems? Is the difference between "base" and "Added" doing all the work there? (KBoC also has the same "Added" keyword.) I guess that would make sense, but it still strikes me as odd. Or maybe it doesn't work, and there was a reason it didn't feel super strong... but I don't think that's the case here.
