Spent way more time getting the chicken crispy than making the actual pasta, so there was no way I was putting it straight on top of the spaghetti and letting it go soggy lol. Kept them separate and added plenty of mozzarella and parmesan. Pretty happy with how it turned out. Only thing missing was some garlic bread.

Was originally just making a quick pasta dinner but decided to cover the whole thing in mozzarella and throw the skillet in the oven. The cheese got all bubbly and the edges turned slightly crispy. Ended up eating straight from the pan lol. Might actually prefer this over regular baked pasta now.

I made the jelly with agar agar powder and edible glitter 💫

Proceur cooked in the oven for 4 hours at 150C

Hands down best meal of my life.

Edit: For those interested the recipe for the bread is in my post history. Basic sourdough recipe but swapped most of the liquid with a can of soup. Tastes great. Using Gruyère for the sandwich because that’s what you use on top of French onion soup.

Easy Homemade Cheeseburgers

When I picked up the gremlin from school today I told her that she gets to decide the menu for dinner and we will hit the shops on the way home to get the ingredients. She chose cheeseburgers, crispy chicken thighs and chippies with homemade honey mustard sauce.

She helped me throughout the process and made the sauce herself. I reckon it turned out pretty damn good and was around $5 a burger or so. It was a very fun daddy-daughter cooking session.

I topped mine off with Rickles spicy pickles and jalapeños.

Got to mess around in my friend's pizza kitchen and came up with this combo. Pepperoni, fresh jalapeños and dollops of ricotta. He wasn't too convinced about the ricotta at first but after trying it I managed to talk him into putting it on the menu lol.
