The Tifa outfit was the single thing I was excited for and then found out it's genderlocked. I did end up getting Barrett's pants, the emote and the plate kit but it's just...eh. No cute outfit for my bunboy.

I realise I would need to practice a lot more to fulfil the spelling requirements of this minigame.

When you see that symbol? That doesn’t mean type away to try and beat the enemy. It’s not him guaranteeing a freeze on your keyboard. It means STOP TYPING! Let the whole animation play out and once you’re clear? Get back to typing. I don’t understand why people keep freezing themselves when the command is so basic.

The new minigame that requires a keyboard is live, you first talk to the Cait Sith NPC near the main desk where you do your daily mini cactpot at. Then you head to a separate instance like the Fall Guys one for the minigame itself.

I can also confirm that chatpads for controllers work, I use the official XBOX One chatpad with my XBOX Elite controller in Windows 11 with the official XBOX wireless adapter. It won't work over Bluetooth, has to be the wireless XBOX controller adapter or wired USB connection to the controller for the chatpad to function. This specific chatpad also works on Series controllers and the XBOX Series too.

I had to make this low quality meme after the game made me click this dialog box, and then reminded me again that I needed a keyboard when registering for a game.

You can see the fur of Cait Sith is a bit hazy around the edges, making it look like hair. Never seen this effect before.

Capitalization isn’t needed.

No matter how many times I typed it right, it completely stopped accepting just these words. I even tried capitalizing just in case. When new words showed up on new enemies I was fine.

This screwed me over though, I couldn’t do anything at all to the boss.

Months ago, a few members of the mod team have attended Fanfest in Anaheim and got the opportunity to attend the press conference where various media got to ask Yoshi-P questions. This time, we are getting another chance to attend Fanfest, this time in Makuhari Messe, Chiba and once again got the opportunity to submit a few questions to Yoshi-P once again. While this doesn’t guarantee any specific questions will get answered, who knows your question may get picked this time round?

Similar to the previous iteration, we’ll leave this thread up throughout Day 0 and the early parts of Day 1 of Fanfest so that everybody has a chance to submit their questions. We'll only be able to pick a handful to submit, so please keep your questions focused on the information from the keynote, the latest updates to the game, and its future direction.

…. So after 10 years since I did the grind for this, I finally get to show off my Ultimate Kettle Nexus.

This game is genuinely really fun and I don't MIND the losses but seeing everyone type away at the HP of the boss a tiny bit and not help with the shield in the last round when it literally rips us apart is DEMENTED

Guess I gotta get more nail polish now.
