Discussion Recommended learning/certification
The situation is as follows:
I have around 600-700€ left of my yearly learning budget and the end of the year is close. I dont have to do the actual learning in 2026 just submit the expense so it gets covered.
So I am wondering what cours or certification to pursue.
I have 6 AWS certificates (the 3 associate, the 2 professional and the AI practitioner).
I have GCP ACE and PCA.
I also have Linux background and have expired Terraform Associate certificate.
I am thinking about buying the CKA exam for 445$ from the Linux Foundation as it has one year window to take the exam and this book bundle from Manning about agent development.
Should total at around 600$ which is fine.
Is this a fine choice? I think my lack of proven k8s knowledge is the biggest gap. What would you recommend from DevOps or platform engineering perspective that is worth learning next year? What would you take?
