Went to tr my current toon and after choosing the kind of tr (racial) the tips that came onto the screen didnt mention anything about the racial part of it, not "you were this race so you'll get the +1 to whatever". So I stopped just in case. Three days ago I did a racial on another toon and it was normal, so not sure if something went wrong after maintenance today. Has anyone tried a racial tr after this weeks downtime?

If you're not playing a Dragon Lord, how are supposed to hit tactics? The bar is a bit too high.

I'm getting crazy low ds rn I run a dragonlord/monk/sacred fist 14/3/3 mostly slotted w gear from the new update my primary doublestrike come from ludorf classring w insightful and base along with a solar augment I took it in my DL tree and visitani plus I have the three stacks of doublestrike pastlifes and the epic feat all only getting me to 100 with my class choice is it no possible to hit the new 200 soft cap I only have 75k on my sentient weapon and prefer keeping my filigrees rn I'm getting +40 cap to mrr and some str w the +20 prr mrr filigree run high skills so I'd prefer not to sacrifice to much defence if I'm only gonna get a little doublestrike in return

Recommendations on gear or filigrees I just finished my gear set was a headache but it's as follows

Helm- shaped duergar cowl

Necklace- glabrezu claw pendant

Goggles- mining lenses

Trinket- heartshard

Armor- great forged outfit

Cloak- great forged cloak

Notes on build

Took all the dodge feats w all the twf and monk stances

Went dragonlord tier5 core 4, visitani tier4 core 5, sacred defender tier 3 for +6 sacred str I use flame stance for the bonus str and crit bonus

Maxed grandmaster got fury up to tier4 for the primal scream heal and double strike and took dreadnought for extra actionboosts

Not so great stats omo

(Not buffed not w reaper bonuses) 3624 hp, ac 115,prr 244,mrr 128, dodge 27%, fort 182%, str 90 con 60, doublestrike 96, melee power 196, 70% fort bypass, imbue 6

Crit 15-20 x5 19-20+x3

So finally any advice as far as gear goes, I kind of wanted to leave this character a cap for a while. Didn't want to invest in hearts for re-rolling and I feel like I geared out as hard as I could. Perhaps this particular bill has reached its full potential considering my past lives only include heroic completionist in about 12 epic past lives and 12 racial past lives w a few iconic

If I could stack another 100 doublestrike I feel like this build could easily solo some r10s rn I can only solo up to around 4 or 6

After the last patch i saw that everyone has now switched to bow to get all those juicy buffs.

My question is: has anyone been playing some build that is good to grind past lives?

I did Inquisitive before, and I switched to some barbarian and monk/dragonlord to try the melee side, but maybe it is time for me to go ranged again.

I am not looking for a raid or endgame r10 build, i want something that goes online pretty fast because I am trying to be done with my racials, and be self sufficent at r1, because I play mostly solo due to working schedule.

Just to be clear, I have around 72 reaper points and gear both for ranged and melee, so any tips would be more then welcomed!

P.s. I also would prefer a build guide but beggars cannot be choosers.

As the title says. I looked in the launcher, and it seems like some of the servers I used to play on are now called a "ghost world," or something. If I had to transfer characters over, which one is most active for US East Coast? I definitely don't want to play solo if I can help it, that defeats the point of playing an MMO, yah know? Any other tips or advice is welcome, I already redeemed the "new big code," by the way.

Trying to update the game and jump on, but I keep getting a PatchClientDLL: Check Dat Files Failed error. Fresh install of the game.

I thought it might have had something to do with today's scheduled maintenance, but I'm a few hours early for that.

I've had 2 open tickets for 3 months now, and I don't think they have looked at them, as one of them was a bug that got fixed with a update the next day and I said that in a separate comment in the support ticket. 3 almost 4 months later now and the ticket is still open, and my other ticket made a week after that (which I'm still having problems with in-game) is growing cob webs.

Has anyone else made support tickets in the last 3 months and had them responded to?

Hello all! I'm coming off completing the Witcher series again and my online gaming group is talking about getting back into DDO. I've done several searches and can't find any reliable or recent advice on how I might build a Witcher-like character in DDO. What little I've found is years old and even Reddit doesn't have much on the topic. I'm more looking for flavor rather than optimization; I doubt our group ever gets serious about high end content for the game. I'd like the character to be good with melee, competent with Sign abilities and use potions. Any advice about recent DDO would be super helpful. Thanks for reading.

The last time I did gear Tetris for my tank, the level cap was still 30. I've got a fighter/paladin build and I'm mainly wearing a seven-piece winter set and using a tower shield with a dino bone bastard sword. I cringe at the prospect of trying to figure out what gear to use these days. What are you guys wearing? I'd love if someone could just spoon feed me all 12 equipment slots so I can just go farming instead of spending a couple days trying to figure out what to even start farming for.

Are there any good ones for DPS or tanking?

I've completed the entire story arc for the adventure “The Keep on the Borderlands.” If I reset the story arc, will all my progress in the wilderness area also be reset? (like Slayer, etc...)

I get the solo player is now the target audience, but, damn, if i had a magic wand i would nuke the mob blob tool they use to author encounters and actually add a couple traps or mega puzzles back in. Is that weird?

Modern ddo dungeon design just cant hold a candle to ddo from a decade ago. The personality of each dungeon, the asymmetrical win conditions, the patrols, sleeping or dancing mobs, the personality of each small encounter showing through in the mob placements and triggers, and the side rooms / optionals that are pure flavor and mild xp. the heavier relevance of party specialization.

I feel more bored in modern ddo content than i do running older content. And i kinda hate that.

apparently animation canceling is the best way to increase your DPS, how does it work? you just use one of the animation canceling moves like hamstrung and thats it? how can that increase your DPS that much, adds one extra attack every few seconds?

Coming back after a year of inactivity. Mostly do 1-30 content, grabbing past lives etc. Have been playing Crossbow toons for pretty much this characters entire life. Mechanic, Inquis, Arti repeater etc.

Currently the toon is 24 and was looking for other viable Crossbow builds for my next life when I hit 30. The new ability on Inquis that replaced No Holds Barred feels very underwhelming so not sure how viable going for the T5 stuff is anymore. While I acknowledge that Inquis was extremely strong, how viable is it for 1-20 or 20-30 now? I rarely used No Holds Barred outside of HP sponge mobs so I am not broken up about the change, but as I said the replacement ability feels very overwhelming and maybe its just me returning at 24 but it feels like I do way less damage than I was used to before my break. I was using a 10 Class I want to Reincarnate for past life, 9RGR, 1ART build.

Bows look exciting with the new changes but I have hardly any to test with so that may be a few lives down the road. Just looking for something crossbow-y if I cant continue to use Inquis. Just wanted to know if inquis is still a good go to (with minor changes to maybe a different T5 etc, or if there is something more worthwhile to try this next life that makes use of my cache full of Xbows and Ranged-Focused gear.

We normally don't know other people to play with, but I have started a guild (The Kitty Committee, level 14). I would love to expand this guild but I'm a very socially awkward woman and sometimes life forces me to quit playing for a little bit.

Okay, so I've got a pretty standard kinda tank-ish build of 12/6/2 Wiz/Pal/Rog PDK... Which used magic missile spam for Shiradi procs... Yeah, I quit around 2014, right after Thunderholme released. Now, is there a way to save this build? It was relying on Shiradi procs but now they're... Really dogwater. I tried running couple quests in Eveningstar(like Battle for Eveningstar) on Elite and while survivability was totally fine, my damage against bosses and mini-bosses was just dogwater.

So, should I just HTR(I'm like 3-4 levels from 30) or just do lesser reincarnation for respeccing? I have like 3 or 4 class past lives, 2 shiradi past lives... Dunno really, since I might quit again due to terrible inventory managements system(my TR cache still has ~100 items left there).

Also, how bad is Sacred Fist pure pally? On paper getting evasion and all pally bonuses without multiclassing sounds awesome, however I heard the damage is dogwater.
