I'm a CS student in Toronto deciding between two Winter 2027 offers.

Ontario Power Generation (OPG):
- ~$41/hr
- 8 months (Jan–Aug), Oshawa
- Software Engineer

TD Bank:
- ~$30/hr, 4 months (Jan–Apr)
- Software / Data Engineer
- Downtown Toronto, where I currently live

Honestly unsure, I’d prefer whichever one prioritizes return full-time offers and whichever looks better on the resume - the pay isn’t a deciding factor.

I'm leaning towards OPG because of higher pay and having 8 months secured without needing to find another summer internship. However, I may need to buy a car and commute or move closer, whereas TD is much more convenient and leaves my summer open.

Any advice is appreciated.
