As per the title.

I'm doing this series where I'm drawing this stupid AI slop character in a real serious way, taking him into the comic art world and drawing him through the style of very famous artists.

This time I chose Moebius. Pencils, inks and gouache by me, on Winsor&Newton watercolor paper.

This is in no way me being happy with AI brainrot characters.
It's mostly a style exercise, and secondly a statement.

This stuff has come out of Big Tech stealing our IP's, and training their models by feeding all of our stuff into their plagiarism machine.
Now it's time we take it back and reclaim it as ours.

Let me know if you guys enjoy this.

Thanks!

Was looking for a reference for a r/drawme, and found one and thought I was going to try drawing her in Sam Kieth style. I didn't know he passed recently. RIP Mr. Kieth.

Working more dynamic poses and better more detailed backgrounds. Any feedback appreciated.

This are some spiderman samples I made after a portfolio review with a Marvel Editor during LA Comic con

These pencils are by Paulo Siquero, a high-quality penciller who often works for Marvel. His pencils are a ball to ink! These were inked digitally, by me, in ProCreate using an iPad Pro and the Apple Pencil. No AI, no filters. All strokes are hand-applied by me. I use my own brushes.

Drew this in Blender and did their timelapse-like modifier and got this.

Progress update on my classic-style Vision piece!

Building up the dramatic lighting and rich values across his flowing cape and torso, capturing that realistic comic book feel heavily inspired by Alex Ross.

Layering up the darks with Staedtler Mars Lumograph pencils and Faber-Castell Polychromos Black to really make those highlights pop on the A3 Bristol Smooth board.
Lower body and legs are next! What do you think of how the cape shading turned out?

Materials Used:
Paper: Bristol Smooth A3
Pencils: Graphite Pencils, Staedtler Mars Lumograph & Faber-Castell Polychromos Black
