Game Mods Celebrating the 10th Birthday of Civ VI with a new mod: Statecraft
Statecraft is a comprehensive overhaul for the government and policy system in the style of Civ IV's Civics system. Make meaningful choices as each category allows you to pick exactly one policy, shaping your empire's society with policies designed around real historic government structures and policies. New categories such as Religious and Labor policies have been added as well.
Policy effects focus on systems and mechanics and ways to recontextualize available actions rather than straight yield bonuses for the most part. Each category is given an identity not just through theme but is also meant to unfold a distinct dynamic throughout the game.
Get the mod on the Steam Workshop now: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3823788213
This mod is the first completed component of a new big project I am working on and I figured I'd make a standalone release to celebrate the 10th CiVIversary. Stay tuned!

VI - Screenshot Anshan shows up as Babylon in my game
I assume some mod I installed broke something, I know Babylon used to be a city state before becoming a civ and being replaced by Anshan but I own all the DLCs.

VII - Discussion With this combo, joseon is strong in antiquity but the civ is extremely bad in exploration
Pangea map + gaselle vase + machiavelli works wonders with joseon. You get 25 culture and 50 gold every time you send open borders or an endeavour. Or a sanction if a civ is attacking you. This early culture allows you to grab joseons very strong tradition right after mysticism, then early bursts of gold makes civ ability really good to buy monuments fast in your first towns. The influence from monuments will keep you sending open borders and endeavours on cd as you meet civs for high yields and you buy libraries too. The culture from gaselle vase, monuments and unique tradition come in the right time so that you grab 15% production towards wonders tradition then build wonders one by one. Joseon is expansionist, I used hanging gardens + oracle to reach 4 expansionist points so specialized towns get +15% yields while having high pop and have monuments/libraries on them. I even incorporated 2 city states, burned more gold on improvements and pagoda for more influence I ended antiquity with 9 wonders while grabbing 2 future civics and 1 future tech while having crisis and being very ahead in tourism
IN EXPLORATION THOUGH: Kilin-observatory are a joke compared to monument-library cost so civ ability is really bad. You have 2 very bad unique traditions. And your city limit doesnt increase to 3!! 2 CITIES UNTIL MODERN WITH NO CIV ABILITY + BAD TRADITIONS. You will struggle with wonder spots even. You have towns based play but no military bonus for conquest, no influence bonus for unique improvements besides old monuments, and you get +1 settlement limit in total in antiquity and exploration combined. Why did devs make a civ which gives you nothing but some more expansionist points with 2 city limit???

IV - Other Started playing civ at the end of CIV5 tenure. Decided to play a game of CIV7 while listening the soundtrack of CIV4 which I never played. Why did they have to do this, I wanted to have fun, not cry and think about the journey of humanity.

I - Other Civ 1 unhappy citizens
I don't understand all the rules for unhappy citizens. Let's suppose i play at prince level so the 5th citizen will be unhappy. And i have Republic government
Do units outside cities ALWAYS make 1 citizen unhappy even if i have temple (-2), colosseum (-3) and cathedral (-4) and i my City has 10 citizens?
Is it possible to improve the range of the city so that citizens are unhappy only if units are beyond the surrounding area (area of production). i would like to defend borders and not let enemies to destroy my irrigation/mines placing military units outside the city.

VI - Other Civ VI civilization themes tier list (tiers in alphabetical order)
The Civ VI soundtrack is in my opinion one of the greatest works of music ever, I love the variety of music involved and learning about the history of the tracks and how it reflects each culture. Admittedly I have not listened to Civ IV and V's soundtracks but I definitely need to. Anyways, here's a tier list I made of the Civ themes from Civ VI because I was listening to the soundtrack and felt like organizing my thoughts.

VI - Other Is there Civ 6 mod to produce upgraded units/ naval warfare
Hi
Was wondering if anyone know of a or similar mod that lets you produce units with upgraded.
Example with aircraft carrier:
Can make normal ones to the 100% base production. Or make it with some upgrades like increased health, DMG or aircraft slots for increased production per upgrade. For increased production for the upgrade.
This way you may get a flagship or smt to defend or help attacks. But with the production cost making it less worth than the same amount of standard units so u don't mass produce them. And instead get a strong unit for the amount of tiles it takes and such...
And so It can be all like: whaaa this is so cool to dominate the sea with. I love looking at this flagship....
Don't think there is any and the closet is just experience and levels. And I did not mean to replace the experience.
And I also are looking for mods that make the AI more active toward naval warfare instead of just building land units on their own iland when most of the mapp is sea. It's s bit boring to dominate the sea without much competition.
And lastly general mods for better naval warfare like new units, reworks, districts...
Thanks in advance

Rare game where I was able to have 5 Campuses surrounding a plus-12-science Mahavihara (with 5 others on the outskirt. Geometrically is it even possible to have a 6-campus Mahavihara?

VI - Discussion Ideal city distance for Tokugawa Japan in Civ VI
I'm recently getting into Civ VI, so I still have Civ V's mentality of building each city 6 squares away from the others. Is this still the best strategy, especially for civs that rely on adjacency bonus or is it better to found them closer to one another?

With all of the focus towards the upcoming fourth age, I thought it would be fun to step back in time for a bit and address the absence of one of Civ's OGs. Would love to hear other's thoughts!

VII - Discussion How to stop the endless wars?
The past few playthroughs I have been getting declared on by then entire continent in the antiquity age. The last game really pissed me off, because I hadn't even really engaged in any diplomacy with any of the other civs. I was minding my business just working on my empire then boom, Machiavelli and Hatshepsut declare a joint war on me(where Machiavelli had +6 war support immediately). After holding my own and protecting my city states for a bit Confucius and Genghis Khan declared war on me. No one would peace out because I wasn't really taking cities and it just became me getting hammered from every side(I was in the middle of the continent surrounded by everyone).
Is it just me or has the computer been way more aggressive than it was before. I haven't played in a few months so I don't know if this is something that people have been dealing with.
