Hi guys! I’m a college student (obviously broke) and do some babysitting to two kids, aged 6 and 8. Since I’m a big nerd, I’ve recently introduced them to DnD and they’ve been liking it a lot! I do the story, character sheets, dm notes and level up guides myself, but can’t draw at all. Since they just finished their first adventure, I was hoping you guys could help me surprise them with their character art (since I don’t wanna use ai). I’ve pasted the original notes, mine and theirs, and included the polished translation below. Thank you so much :)

Zarek (created by the 6 year old)

Zarek is a red skinned Tiefling Monk with two horns, a red tail, small wings, yellow eyes, a yellow shirt and green pants. He wears an eyepatch over an eye injured by an animal and carries a diamond staff with his name engraved on it. He was born at the top of a volcano and nearly fell into it, but managed to save himself with his staff. After traveling around the world, he discovered a house where a monk lived. The monk trained him and told him to fight the King of the Bad Guys and his guards, whom Zarek eventually defeated.

Glacior (created by the 8 year old)

Glacior is a Frost Dragonborn Fighter with white and silver scales, blue eyes, one intact horn and one broken horn. He wears a blue hood, a black cloak, armor and dark blue pants. He also has a scar left by an animal's claws. He was born in a glacier and, when summer arrived, a farmer named Tom found him in a river. Tom initially took him in but eventually realized he was a dragon and ran away, never to return. Glacior then tried to find a home in a village, but everyone fled in fear of him. He was left completely alone until he encountered an old man. His story ends there, leaving the rest of his past a mystery.

Divana is a peace domain cleric who serves Death (believing in the peace of the afterlife). She is inspired by the comet moth but with the colors of a divana diva moth. She's a very beast-like little fairy, with her body covered in fur-like scales and massive wings that drag on the ground when she walks. If you've ever watched Barbie Swan Lake, her backstory is inspired by Odette's family lol. Divana is a pretty chill, if not a lil odd, fairy who doesn't enjoy when people argue.

Ikelos for u/Vi_Flower

Ilse Keyfir (Eel-suh Kay-feer) is a character who has lived rent free in my head for years. She's heavily inspired by the Jedi and takes a lot of cues from Star Wars media. She has been one of my absolute favourite characters to play and last night saw the culmination of a very important character arc for her.

She's a drow, but was raised by The Order of the Azure Circle and has no concept of drow society. She was once an Eldritch Knight, but due to the loss of her Master lost her connection to the Weave. Over the course of her journey she rediscovered it and became a Noble Genies Paladin. Shortly after, however, tragedy struck and she died. She was brought back by the lingering spirit of her former Master and now the two reside within her body. She now contends with the mingling of these two distinct identities and has begun slowly healing that rift. She has recently been elevated to the rank of Knight and gifted a sun blade for her service.

I have provided a written description as well as some references for her appearance including the current Picrew that I am using.

Appearance

Ilse's stands around 5'7. Ilse has pale purple skin that looks as if it hasn't seen the sun in some time. Across her body are numerous scars, notably a large slash across her chest, a small scar under her right eye and a scar across the bridge of her nose. Strangely, all these scars have taken on a golden hue. Her eyes are a deep red, almost crimson. Her hair is ashen white and is kept back in a long ponytail that flows to the small of her back

Around her neck is a symbol of her Order, a small amulet of blue star in a circle. Her robes are deep indigo contrasted with golden trim. On left hip she carries a pair of curved swords with elven runes on them that glow faintly amber. On her right hip an unassuming longsword hilt (her newly acquired sun blade). When ignited her sun blade also glows a steady rich amber hue.

Cassian Vayl, Tiefling Archivist and Spellblade

Class: Magus (Arcane Half-Caster)

Equipment: Rapier, Leather Armor, Hand Crossbow

Physical Description:

Cassian stands at 5’10” (6’2” if you count horns) with a slender build, built more for nimble mobility rather than raw strength, a blue-ish gray skin tone with bone-white horns and smokey gray tips styled after Raphael’s horns in Baldur’s Gate 3, and a pointed tail. His ears are adorned with silver saber earrings and helix / upper lobe piercings connecting by silver chains.

However, the most noticeable feature is his horns being where his eyes are. The horns have infernal script etched all over them, which channel arcane energy to reproduce his sight.

Character Context:

Cassian is a man of quiet contemplation and routine. While not completely cold or aloof, he finds more comfort in his studies and his work as he holds continuous education in the highest regard above all else. When he isn’t cataloging archaeological findings or correcting errors within historical texts, there is little more he enjoys than sitting in a chair with a textbook in his hand and a long tobacco pipe in his mouth.

Eventually, word spread of a new land far to the east, and his order sees this as an opportunity to expand their horizons and learn about new parts of the world. He is chosen to join an expeditionary force in hopes of establishing a presence in the new land, and nothing excites him more than understanding that which was hidden for untold generations.

Looking some updated/alternate art of my muckraker Pelerdose! It has been about 4 in-universe years since his introduction/first pic (credits to u/askelb for the incredible original commissioned piece!), and he is making a cameo in our groups current campaign~

TLDR update/things that have had the most visual effect on Pel is that his biggest thing has been bargaining a celestial into taking its power in order to become a celestial himself. Along with an outfit change, Really wanting to dive into the 'biblicly accurate' look. 3 pairs of big ol' wings with eyes matching his own pupilless golden ones. His scribes wizard quill floats around on its own so it could be going around and around

Jin'lath is a fire giant goliath, and like many goliaths she's quite tall and imposing. She stands 7'7" and has grey skin and big messy firey red hair. Some kept in braids some just wild. Many say she's the spitting image of Sune the Goddess of Love and Beauty, if the Lady Firehair was a giant that is.

Maybe this prompted her to become a Paladin of Sune, but thats personal, so we didn't ask. It didn't take long for her to get noticed by a Planetar of Lady Sune, Ashaya. With religion and worship down in Faerun, the planetar Ashaya forged a pact with Jin'lath to help spread the word. Now Jin'lath is a celestial warlock in service of Sune. She promptly became a Vitality Celebrant (Fitness Influencer) for the gods. Her hair changed color that day, at least half of it did and became perfectly pure white.

She now travels the world spreading beauty the only way she knows how, being strong! She uses her rough and ready battle worn beauty and natural muscular physique as an ice breaker before speaking about Sune and sharing her love. "She's yoked!" they cry out. "She's so charming and kind" they say. "She's positively radiant!" they swoon. She always tells the people that Sune demands perfection, and she wont stop until she's the fittest!

Jin'lath is about 30 years old
Her skin is light grey bordering on blue, freckles, scared from battles.
Her hair is red/white messy and big, very Norse/viking style, braids and messy (on purpose of course). Left side is red, right side is white.
She has glowing/smoldering fire yellow eyes
She's 7'7"
She's very muscular and strong. Think Vi or Sevika from Arcane, or Miruko (MHA), SheHulk, Striga (Castlevania)...
She's vibrant and brilliant and bubbly. She can be a bit dense, but she takes her work, her fitness, and her friends very seriously. She doesn't sweat the small stuff.
She wears heavy chain, scale or plate armor into battle, but doesn't shy from showing off her physique, that's her job after all!
She's always trendy, Beauty is Sune's decree, even in armor and in battle she looks good.
She usually wields a pike, sometimes a big two handed hammer.
She likes layers and accessories and trinkets and pouches and jewelry and so on. Always accessorize!
She's a "medieval fantasy" equivalent of a fittness influencer. I envision her recording "videos" on sending stones or stones she distributes that play videos and stuff. She's a performer, a cosplayer (disguise kit), a charismatic goofball, always willing to speak with her fans and speak about Sune.
The sign of her pact, beyond the white hair, is a halo, but the halo can become a collar too. The job isn't perfect she is pacted, by immortal beings who don't know what it might be like to be mortal after all.

Hi, it's me again. I'm back with more characters, this time with four famous animals from history. Wojtek was the Polish soldier bear from WWII; Dolly was the cloned sheep (RIP Dolly Parton); Togo was one of the sled dogs from the 1925 Alaskan diptheria outbreak; and David Greybeard was the chimp that Dame Jane Goodall (RIP) worked with.
