Just btw im not looking for exact art styles to the pics just similar so still comment anyways.

Okay so here’s the characters and why the artstyle fits them

Slides 1-2 Im looking to commision age 12 characters so I’m looking for a softer art style I’m not an artist so the best way i can describe is how the outer lines look bolder and the inner lines are tinier.

Slide 3 I’m commissioning female characters in this art style with bright colors

Slide 4 I’m commissioning a hot flirt type villain for my oc world. So I’m really looking for a style or artist who can draw hot serious male characters well

NO DM NO DM NO DM just comments as to avoid scam, i’ll dm you instead if i’m interested. Budget is 700 so i can take any price really. I can’t find the artists for these pics i found them on google

Patron [Hiring] Fantasy Book Cover Artist - $800

I am looking for a full wrap around cover for my upcoming fantasy book. I would like the artwork to also be formatted for all cover version (paperback, hardback, audiobook, jacket, laminate).

No AI use.

The front cover will include silhouettes of characters. Please put the word silhouette in your answer so I know you have read this. There will be a strong emphasis on effects and lighting. Please post examples of your work, and I will message a more detailed brief if interested.

I will be looking to pay in 4 instalments – 25% deposit, then the rest as artwork progresses along an agreed timeline.

There will be a contract for the both of us to sign. My budget is $800. I can go higher if needed, but let’s start here.

Thanks

Patron [Hiring] looking for a bunch of artists for large project!

To cut down on bots/potential spam, please add “WILDBORN” somewhere in your comment!

Hello! I’m looking to get pretty much all the characters in the book I’m writing fleshed out into actual art pieces that I can reference/look at while writing. I am not the best artist and only work in physical mediums, but I’ve drawn out one (and a half, kinda) of the characters kinda how I imagine them and others will take a little more work because they’re kinda just concepts with inspo pictures, I’d be willing to pay a little more for the work/adjustments to sketches those characters would need!

Requirements: MUST be comfortable drawing both humans and animals, as well as scars, the characters are kids that were surgically and experimentally turned into hybrids so they all have wings/ears/different animal parts. I can go into much more detail about them after I know what you’re able to do and which character I’d like in your art style!

If possible, please link a portfolio or attach some images of your work, your pricing, and where to reach out to you at! I am willing to do payments through any art app/websites that I can easily create an account for, but I would prefer to do payments through cashapp.

My general budget for each piece is $20-$100, though I am willing to go over that if I like the art style enough! I can only do big commissions once a pay period tho (every 2 weeks)
There are at LEAST 13 characters I’m looking to get full body pieces done for right now

Photos of my drawings of them added for attention!

Edit to add: I am a bit overwhelmed by the amount of options, but thank you all so much for all of them! Don’t be afraid to leave a comment even though there are many, I plan to keep commissioning artists for pieces relating to my characters even after this particular goal of having a proper reference for everyone’s appearance is achieved and will continue using this post as a shopping center for them 😂

Patron [HIRING] Artists for my trading card game. Semi-Realistic Fantasy+ line-rendered. Budget max $90

If you see this line of text, please do not DM me on Reddit or on Discord. I am responding to comments only from now on.

Hello artists, I'm looking to replace the AI placeholders I have with real art. I have been working on this game for a few years now so I need to set things in motion. The goal is to kind of have a collab with a bunch of artists to show off their creativity and style while also not being too different that it feels out of place.

Art style wise I like something in the realm of line-rendered fantasy+. Kind of like DnD style, a blend of anime/cartoon. The + means it's mostly fantasy, but we also have things like monsters, cryptids, robots, animals, things like food creatures, etc. Something with good contrast, fairly dark linework (not a fan of thin outlines). I am very open about letting the artist showcase their creativity, so other than very basic requirements which may differ per piece, you would have a lot of flexibility. If you'd prefer more direction I can provide that as well.

My budget at the moment is $90 at most per piece including commercial licensing and backgrounds, which are a requirement for all commissions. When we have outside funding the budget will be increased. You will be credited at the bottom of the card (along with who created the concept), and if you would like I have no problem with advertising your art directly and pointing people to you. When the game goes into production, eventually, you will be given a copy (possibly more than one depending on logistics) of each card you design art for.

Note: Commissions will be over time, so please be patient. I hope at some point I can get people to help with funding but at the moment it is all me and one other person, so this may take a long time, and I apologize if I don't get to commission you as soon as you'd like, but I will try to have open communication the best I can as I am almost always available (I sleep about 3-5 hours a day so aside from that time.)

I am also willing to potentially purchase a commercial license for already made non-commissioned artwork at a lower rate if it fits something we are looking for.

I have a cloud-based gallery of the cards we are trying to make right now. Eventually over time all the AI art in the gallery will be changed to real art so we can then start production on the game. Things are subject to change if the idea is good. Do not feel the need to stick to what the placeholder art looks like unless you like the design. If you want to take a look and think you would be a good fit for something, or even if you have art already made that you would like to sell the commercial license for that would fit the idea, let me know as well!

The link to the gallery: https://spiritmasterstcg.pages.dev/gallery

I look forward to hearing from you and potentially working with you.

EDIT: There are so many responses, sorry if I take a while to get to you.

EDIT EDIT: Having issues with the gallery atm. Trying to change it from cloud-based loading to static.

EDIT EDIT EDIT: https://spiritmasterstcg.pages.dev/gallery should be back up and running fine. Now set as a static build rather than cloud-based and constantly refreshing.

I am trying to respond to everyone so I apologize if it takes me a while to respond to you!

Patron [Hiring] Long-term artist.

Post image
85 Upvotes

Hi! I'm currently developing a videogame and am in need of a long-term artist for photos similar to the picture attached.

Overall I'd probably be looking to buy 15 - 20 works, however a lot of them will be a repeat of the last with minimal changes. (Facial expressions etc.)

I'm not too bothered about talent or experience, so please don't hesitate to reach out.

I'd probably be looking to pay $140 per-piece, give or take depending on the complexity.

I'd be looking to have full commercial rights.

Thanks.

Patron [Hiring] I am looking for someone to help me bring my book characters to life

Thank you to everyone who has commented on this post and who is interested in being hired for this project. There have been a lot of responses and honestly it's a little bit overwhelming. I will be taking a couple of days to go through everybody's portfolios and I will be in contact with the top few people that I am interested in working with. Thank you again I will reach out soon! Please feel free to message me for a synopsis of the book and/or the first chapter if you are interested! Budget:$500

Hello, my name is Matthew. I am an amateur, er, professional jack of all trades. I do everything a little and nothing well. For the first time in my tiny existence I am writing a book. And for the first time I have gotten past the title and a series of scenes in my head.

A little interesting bit of info: I typically love high fantasy, sprawling sci-fi epics and visceral horror. To my and my wife's surprise, my first real novel is a gripping romantic drama...

I would like to hire someone to capture the characters who have captured my heart and seized my mind for the past several months. I have about $500 to spend. There are two main characters who I would like drawn in a few different scenes/poses and a handful of minor or supporting characters.

I am looking for someone specializing in an art style that sits somewhere between realism and anime. I have never invisioned photo realistic people when I imagine these characters and I have never invisioned bug eyes anime characters either. Somewhere in between.

Regardless, thanks for taking the time to read my weird request! And thank you to all the artists out there helping pick our brains and bring our ideas to life! You all rock!

PS: whomever I pick will get to read the current state of Act One and Act Two for free, if they're interested 😜

Patron [Hiring] Looking for someone to do a couple's drawing of my character & her love interest (BG3)

Post image
105 Upvotes

I'm looking to get a drawing done of my character from BG3 with Astarion. It doesn't necessarily need to be full body but it's going to be a cuddling scene so more than just their heads / torsos. I am looking for someone who can get the likeness of an existing character pretty close to accurate and I prefer realistic or cartoon realism, but I'm up for whatever might look good. I'm open when it comes to budget and I'm not expecting anything super inexpensive, minimum of $50. This would be a SFW drawing and I can provide specific references for the characters and also the setting of the scene. Thanks!

ETA: I'll be looking at everyone's posts once I get home from work this evening! Thanks!

Patron [Hiring] Need artist for

Hello!

I'm looking for an artist to make a relatively simple cover for my Royal road fanfiction.

It would be of a woman on a plain background with the title on top. I'm open to either it just being a half body drawing, from the torso up or a full body drawing. I have some ideas on how it should look but will gladly welcome suggestions and thoughts from the actual artist.

Budget is up to $100 with a tiny bit of wiggle room depending on past examples of your work. I'm not monetizing the story as of right now but if that changes and you'd like to gamble on its success I'd be willing to relinquish 1-3% of future monthly earnings via contract for something more expensive.

Please link any examples of your work and I'll be in touch with someone this weekend.

Thank you!

Edit: just saw I never finished the title lol. Sorry mods! Hope that's okay

Edit: Wow I didn't expect so many responses. I'll take the next two days to go through all of them. I'll reach out to someone either Saturday evening or Sunday.

Patron [Hiring] Fairy OC budget $120

Hi, I’m looking to commission art of my oc waist-up in a semi-realistic fantasy style or possibly whimsical if I vibe with it. The character is a “ballroom” fey with visible illness. I'm offering $120, but I’m willing to negotiate for skill as I’m particular about her wings and illness and want them done right, but I don’t have the skill to do her justice.

Patron [Hiring] Illustrator for ~32 Picture Book About a Cat and RV Adventuring Together, Starting Budget of $3,000 but Very Flexible

Hello!!

I'm looking for an artist to illustrate a roughly 32 page picture book I wrote for my great aunt and uncle that's inspired by their life with their kitty, Joey, and RV, Otto, and all of their adventures together across the country. The book is going to be self-published through Barnes and Noble Press, most likely for personal use as this is really just something to make my aunt and uncle happy instead of the next best seller, haha. The manuscript for the book is already finished, and most of the pages have illustrator notes on them already. Last July, I gave a reading of the manuscript to my aunt and uncle's book club, so many of said notes were just for clarity's sake as there weren't any pictures for the book club to look at while reading. I am more than open to any adjustments to, improvements of, or creative spins on any of the ideas outlined in the illustrator notes, so please have fun with it if anything strikes you!! Please also keep in mind that this is my first time ever writing a piece of children's literature. I have a background in creative writing, but only ever wrote pieces for adults, so this is all very new to me. Always happy to have fellow beginners figure this out alongside me!

Like I mentioned above, the story itself focuses on Joey, my aunt and uncle's cat, meeting Otto, the RV Joey's family will eventually come to by. The plot centers around an "RV Adoption Fair" where Joey meets several RVs, all of whom he can talk to, as he and my aunt and uncle look for their "perfect match." As this is based on real people (and cats and RVs), most of the characters (my aunt and uncle, Joey, and Otto) would preferably be drawn from reference so my aunt and uncle can see themselves and their family represented in the story. I have plenty of pictures available as a reference that I can send if you're interested in the project. Of course, I'll also send the manuscript (with the illustrator notes) to anyone who's interested so you can get a better sense of whether this is a project you'd like to take on!

In terms of the budget, the starting point is $3,000, averaging at a little under $100 per drawing. This is absolutely negotiable, especially when considering the timeline for this project. My aunt's health has started to decline more rapidly than any of us were expecting, so I'm hoping to get the finished project made for her as soon as possible. I am absolutely more than willing to pay any rush fees as a result, even on top of any increases in rate there may be for a 32-page project. This project has been in the works for two years now, but life has gotten in the way and prevented me from actually finishing it, and it's so incredibly important to me to get it done in time for her to see it and enjoy it. No price is too high for this.

Any style is welcome!! Just please no AI at any point in the illustrative process.

Thank you so much to anyone who has read this far and is interested in taking this on. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or if there's any additional information you need!!

I am looking for an artist for an OC. Budget is $200. Semi alternate styles welcome. She can control light, sorta, so a lot of shadow work is necessary, and I am possibly looking for a background. Honestly, it just depends on the vibes.

Patron Looking for someone to bring my book characters to life! [Hiring] [100$ Budged to start]

Hello all,

I'm looking for someone to breathe life into my book characters. I have been writing a vampire boy x witch girl romance for the past 10 years and have finally finished my second draft. I'm now in my third editing phase. However, I would like to start building my "brand" so speak and hype potential readers (and publishing houses) up for my book.

Specifically I'm looking for someone to create character portraits that I can use to create character introduction posts on my TikTok and Instagram. Maybe even artwork with more than one character.

I'm looking for art that's a bit more on the cartoon-ish/comic side of style, nothing too realistic. But if you think you might be suitable for book character creation please let me know anyway. You know what those fancy romance book character cards look like, like that I mean :D

I hope some of ya'll are interested:)

(Edit: Oh ya'll were quick af! Gimme a few days to look you all up!:) )

(Edit 2: Hello yes I am still looking through all of your wonderful portfolios. I'll try and come up with a top 20 in a few days and will stay in contact. Thank you for the massive response!)

My budget is $100-$150, willing to pay more depending if we add background or level of detail, etc. I would need the art finished by November 30th for her birthday.

Details on the characters/poses we can discuss in dms.

Looking forward to it!
