Hello everyone!
I am looking to support my fellow artists for some OCs I’d like drawn. I have never commissioned before, but I work a good paying job now so I am able to have some spending money.

Minimum is 20 required- but I can go up to probably 150$ USD! (Possibly more depending on the request 👀)

UPDATE:

Oh my gosh- theres so many artists to choose from…
Thank you so much for the wide applications!! In all honesty, I will try to purchase as many as I can so I can support as many as possible!!

I will definitely be requesting art again in the near future- I’d love for this to be a monthly thing :) thank you all!!!!

I don’t necessarily have a budget 20-50 though I only commission through vgen I’m looking for more artists commission and I’m looking for someone who can do art sort of like these I think it’s very cool I like the shading looks very nice so if you think you have a style like this and you’re open for commission feel free to leave a comment.. though I will not be answering those scam DMs side eye

Personal use, need a redesign for my oc here ^

New design will still keep her features (face, body type, skin colour), tho most of it is designing an outfit and possibly a hairstyle change while keeping the original hair colour and texture. I'll provide more refs when commissioning.

Looking for:

• Concept sketch ideas (3?)
• Flat coloured or rendered final design
• Fantasy character design
• I can consider any artstyle but semi-realism is preferred
• Deadline is 2-3 weeks / 14-21 days
• Budget $220<, 50/50 payment
• Payment is through VGen / Wise / Paypal or Ko-Fi

Please also have character design examples in your portfolio! A price sheet or an estimated price would be really helpful. Please don't raise prices to meet my max budget. I cannot consider commissioning if I don't see character design examples or if you haven't drawn any fantasy characters before.

Please be able to work within the deadline, I've just had some bad experiences in the past with communication, so I do prefer an artist who is happy to communicate and respects the deadline.

I'll be crossposting this until I find the right artist, you don't need to comment twice if you see my ad again. Thank you!

(also i prefer communicating on discord or insta. reddit glitches a lot for me so I lose dms and i literally don't even get notifs here)

EDIT: alot of yall are showing portfolios without any character design work and no prices . if u wanna be considered read above 🙆 im ignoring the ones without character, outfit or concept designs. only reach out if ur comms r currently open as i plan on commissioning as soon as i can (no waitlist)

again dont showcase just regular art im just interested in concept, outfit and character designs. ty to the artists who read my post 😭 do not comment if u cant work with my terms (deadline/budget)

Im looking for an artist to help me bring my superhero character to life. Mainly suit design and equipment look. My budget is 300$ but if you're a perfect fit I have some wiggle room. As I said im new to this so ill have a few questions but Im very excited. Looking forward to hopefully working with one of you soon!

I'm looking to commission a reference sheet for my male OC. I'm okay at drawing non-human stuff, but I really struggle with humanoids so I'd rather have someone else tackle this one.

I have a bunch of image references for how i want it and a full breakdown ready to send. The oc is a rabbit type character like just ears and a tail and wears armor like a rouge so would prefer someone who's good at drawing armor if possible and very skinny body like elf ish kinda i can describe in it better in dms when I show u the full thing

I have an original character/concept that I sketched out and I'd like to have it professionally illustrated.

I'm looking for a dark horror illustration with a death-metal album-cover aesthetic. I want the finished piece to feel disturbing, strange, grotesque, and somewhat surreal rather than like a traditional fantasy creature. I don't expect the drawing to be copied exactly, but I want you to clean up and develop the anatomy, details, textures, and overall presentation while keeping the core idea recognizable. Please prioritize unsettling anatomy and atmosphere over making it look conventionally cool.

I'm open to you adding details, textures, environmental elements, and additional horror imagery as long as the original concept and silhouette remain recognizable.

My budget is approximately $200, but I'm open to discussing the price depending on the level of detail.

ABSOLUTELY NO AI

I just want an cool art piece of my OC based on an image i saw

The character is a Fairy ranger and I have references for what I'd like her outfit style to be like and what I'd like her face to be like. Prerequisite for me is I need someone who can do likenesses great.

BUDGET: around $50 - $100? Can negotiate if I like your stuff!

TLDR:: Need artist for a intergalactic space OC character reference sheet.

Hi! I don’t really use Reddit to post for commissions as I am very familiar with Fiverr and their system… but I saw all the lovely artists and their amazing work on this subreddit, so I thought I might as well throw my hat into the ring. Worst case scenario, I can always use this post for future commissions!

As the title suggests, I’m looking for an artist who is willing to hear me out with all of my character concepts, design ideas, colour palettes, and wacky suggestions to turn into a character sheet for future commissions!

More specifically, a space OC! No, I’m not talking about aliens (although they are cool!), I’m talking about interstellar, galactic space exploration OCs that make you think you met a deity.

I have the base idea in my head for now but what I really want is for someone to help me create this silly little idea to life as space is my HUGE hyper fixation!

Thank you :> 🪐

(Ps, if you want to advertise your artwork of my potential OC, PLEASE ask me!! I’m not going to sign any NDAs because that isn’t really fair).

I'm looking for something similar to this style. References will be supplied via DMs.

IMPORTANT: I can only purchase through vgen with the vgen payments option as the payment method so if you do not have that I am afraid I will not consider commissioning you.

I am looking to get myself a FFXIV WoL custom! I am looking for someone who has prior experience with fantasy designs.

She will be a FFXIV oc whos an elezen(elf)!

My budget is around 100$ I might consider going a bit over depending on if I really like your art

Hello! My brother’s birthday is towards the end of October, and I’m looking to get a full-body, fully colored commission of his D&D character as a birthday gift!

I’d love something with a dynamic pose. A detailed background isn’t necessary, mainly just focusing on his character- though I would like a block of color or something simple behind the character so it isn’t just a plain white background. My goal is to be able to print the artwork and frame it for him to hang on his wall.

His character is a Warforged, so I know he’s somewhat mech/robot adjacent and isn’t necessarily something every artist is comfortable drawing. Because of that, I’d preferably like to see some examples of your past work with Warforged, mech/robot characters, or full suits of armor so I can get an idea of how you handle that kind of character. I figured it would be easier to just put out a commission request and see who’s interested!

I’ve attached his reference sheet, and I do have some additional references I can provide to the artist. I just don’t want to post those publicly since they’re artwork from other artists.

Thanks :)

Hello hello! I am looking for an artist to draw a group of mine and some friends OCs similarly to these pieces! Mostly the angle with them sitting down, their names on the part they're sitting on and just overall vibe! Doesn't have to be in a similar art style to this but if you're close to a style like this then that would be awesome as well! I haven't decided on the characters for the piece just yet but it would be 4 characters and likely just them individually. It would be a project I get done over the course of the rest of the year so I'd probably start with one or two pieces and then get another one or two in November or December! It just depends on the price as well. I think price wise for something like this I am fine with spending 50-90 dollars per character, hence why I would be spreading the project out over the course of the rest of the year!

Feel free to leave your portfolios and such in the comments and I will try to get a look at them ASAP! Thank you for showing interest in this and I look forward to seeing the different art styles!

Edit - Hey everyone, I've decided on which artist to go with for this! Thank you so much for all the interest in this idea and it always pains me that I can't commission every artist that interests me but I'll save some of y'all for later and link this post to friends in case they see some art they like! Have a good weekend!

Hello. I am looking for someone who can do some character art for me.

Two projects really, but thematically Dark Fantasy / Horror Fantasy fits both. Preferably more of a realistic style.

First one: Redoing of some art I got scammed on through another platform. My fault really. Doesn’t mean I can’t learn from and correct that.

Murderous/Carnivorous/Predatory Mermaid. Splash of magic. Splash of modern naval imagery. There will be a few specific details requested on it for that last part.

Will need it for printing purposes. 24” x 14” but able to crop most of the character for use on a 2.5” x 3.5” card. 300dpi resolution.

I’m not in a rush. Budget? I dunno? $250ish sound about right? I’m open to negotiating.

Edit: Wow. That was a significantly fast and overwhelming response. Please bear with me while I look through y’all’s portfolios.

Hi! The title spells it out pretty plainly 😅 I’m an artist myself who’s hit a bit of a wall in terms of creating a proper token image for my character in an upcoming DND campaign. I’m looking for an artist who’s experienced in this realm and who’s willing to help me trial and error a character design a little bit :) I’m pretty flexible budget wise, but considering i just need a flat-colored headshot at most, I’d like to stay within the $80 USD range (excluding tip). Thanks in advance!!!

Looking to hire an artist who can bring my satyr bard to life! I can provide more references of her body and such once I’ve decided!
My budget is UP TO $150.

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for someone to create character art for my novel. Commissioned art would be used on things like bookmarks and postcards as well as posted on social media for marketing.

I attached a few previous commissions to get an idea for the characters.

Looking for a semi-realistic fantasy illustration. Please don’t comment if your art style deviates too far from the styles shown. Looking for characters and background combined.

Absolutely NO AI.

Please ONLY DM if you comment here first. Anyone who DM’s without commenting will automatically be deleted.

Timeframe for completion is within one month. Start date can be anytime between now until the beginning of August.

Edit: Found two artists that I’ll be working with to create two separate designs. Appreciate everyone who took the time to comment. I wasn’t able to get through everyone’s but from what I did see there were wonderful pieces in there. As of now this post is closed.

Hello! I'm looking for an artist for my first commission ever, to help me bring to life the main character of a passion project I've had on my mind for years.

I'm looking for someone able to draw characters in a semi-realistic style, willing to help in character design, and able to draw historical-inspired characters, clothing, armor, and weaponry (think between the ASOIAF books, Middle Earth, and Kingdom Come Deliverance, not DnD or too high fantasy; In other words, medieval/reinassance historical with low-fantasy and the occasional high-fantasy). Not a requirement but I'd prefer if you had historical medieval artwork to show in your portafolio. I would prefer artists who are comfortable working with me on the design and giving suggestions in constant open communication (I can give you references, moodboards, and a lot of descriptions). Also, not exclusionary at all, but if you can speak spanish that would be great for communication!

Currently, I'm looking for a detailed full-body, lineart or flat coloring depending on your pricing. It would be a young male character without background. The posing could either be simple or a more detailed action scene, depending on your pricing. Alongside the character, I want you to design his sword and his coat of arms. It's not a requirement, but if you know how to draw mythological animals, I want you to design his griffin.

My base budget would be between $40-70 for the character + sword and CoA. Up to $90 if you can draw the griffin, or if your coloring/posing/complexity convinces me. I prefer a steady pace and no rushing, so no deadline. Also, I would prefer communication through email.

I'm hoping that, if I like the result and the designing process, I will keep commissioning you with more expensive artwork long term for this project.

Im sad. Mexico is out of the world cup. Im here to throw money into someone's else's wallet now to make myself happy.

I would like a full body illustration of Xilonen from Genshin Impact in a Mexican jersey with her foot above the World Cup ball.

Thank you.

Edit: Budget is 100$. Forgot to add that

Looking for an Artist who can make a portrait of a photo I have of my friend and his fiancée. I would be interested in both one portrait being more realistic and one maybe in the style of animal crossing as well lol. If that something you or someone you know would be interested in please let me know! As for budget I would like to keep it under 500 if possible. (If that is not reasonable or too much please comment lol. I've never commissioned art before so this is a first for me.)

Edit: Hello all and thank you for the submissions! I found 2 different artists that fit what I was looking for and appreciate all the submissions. Will definitely come back here next time I need any sort of art done.

I’m looking to get a commission, preferably a full body, of my DND character. Maeve is a fiery tiefling artificer who wields power armor into battle based on what space marines wear in Warhammer. She has a bit of a devil motif going on, and recently got buffed up with some fire powers which may become a new theme for her as well.

My budget is 150$ and I’d prefer to pay through PayPal if possible.
