I just read up to chapter 31. There's only one word I want to scream= "DAMN!!"🔥🔥🔥🔥
As an the anime viewer, with the gloomy style, My eyes are not used to the graceful style of the manga. Sir Anton Sue and Johann von ugar, who looks old in anime, becomes like a young model in manga. Uniforms become exaggerated to look dashing. Tanya, Visha, and Mary Sue, they become like graceful maidens who have strayed into war.
The story is presented differently. More comedy and clearly narrated war strategy. Honestly, I didn't understand the plot of the war in the anime. The manga explains the strategies and flow of war by taking examples/references from real-world wars, which makes it easier to understand.
In my heart I always scream when I see the cuteness of Tanya's childish behavior. Unbelievable. Riding a bike laughing happily, playing shooting games with other kids, playing with dogs. I can't believe that Tanya, that cold brain, did those childish things. It's like she is different person, or have DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder). But if it was a ploy to gain people's sympathy and make them think "a kid that happy shouldn't be in war!" and to be placed in the backline, it makes sense.
The comedy. It always make me die. There are many inconsistencies in thinking between Tanya and the people. Tanya:"They must have thought I didn't want to fight on the front lines and wanted me to sit in the back lines." Other:"ABSOLUTELY HER WANT TO FIGHT IN FRONT LINE!!WHAT A GOOD SOLDIER!!!"
I think in the manga Tanya is too small like a cat in other Soldier that have a big body like a Jotun/troll.
The sense of solidarity with the other soldiers doesn't really come up in the anime (as far as I remember).
