I'm interested in playing through the campaigns of Warcraft 3 (RoC and tFT), but I have no intention of ever playing WoW. I read that WoW is a continuation of the story of Warcraft 3, so I wonder:

Does the story of Warcraft 3 stand on its own, or is there some big cliffhanger at the end, and it's hard to appreciate the story without continuing with WoW? In other words, is Warcraft 3's story worth it and enjoyable in isolation?

Could this be a new faction for WoW Forever?

As I heard consecration (Forsaken Paladin) can be devoured by destroyers and they can get tons of mana from it. I guess its just the debuff on units that would then instantly get reappplied from the aoe again? I am not sure how it works.

Maybe its just me but I find that unintuitive and I prefer it would be changed.

What do you guys think? Is it okay for you as or something that should get looked into?
