Ik ben benieuwd naar jullie mening hierover. Denken jullie dat het echt nog nodig is om je middels dievenijzer tegen inbraak te beschermen, of plaatsen we het inmiddels uit gewoonte? Zou jij je onveilig voelen zonder dievenijzer? Waarom denken jullie dat andere landen in de regio veel minder dievenijzer hebben?

Ik heb een echt €50-biljet dat wat oud is en een paar vlekken heeft. Het biljet is verder gewoon heel: geen scheuren of andere beschadigingen.

Het probleem is dat winkels en cambio’s het niet willen aannemen vanwege de vlekken. Ik vermoed dat een bank misschien hetzelfde zal doen.

Weet iemand waar ik in Suriname zo’n biljet kan laten omwisselen voor een nieuw €50-biljet, of eventueel kan wisselen naar SRD?

Heeft iemand hier ervaring mee of weet iemand een plek die gevlekte/oude eurobiljetten accepteert?

Both my parents are from Suriname. Im from the Netherlands. They both speak sranan to each other, and to me. I understand basically everything as long as it isnt too "native" or something. My parents do mostly just speak Dutch to me, just sneak in a couple of sranan phrases.

I used to be able to speak it very well as a child, one time my family was in Sr it was the only language i spoke, but then corona happened and we went to suriname less, I also grew older and became ashamed and all.

Now I just feel bad because I have this thick ass Dutch accent everytime I try to speak sranan, and I got trouble making sentences. I also never learned how to read the language at all.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Asking because I hear so many things from my family, about women getting raped by men all the time and I want to visit my home there but the corruption in the police station and government is insane and I'm araid the police won't show up if there is something going on.
