Alot of unexpected results from this pole I made a while back which was reposted on both r/honkaistarrail and r/kafkamains.

A quick little analysis, 1045 or 54% of people voted for Maternal, 577 or 29.8% voted for Mix of both, 205 or 10.6% voted for Romantic, and 108 or 5.6% voted for No strong feelings for each other.

Quite unexpected actually, I expected romantic to be much higher than it was. Here are summaries of some interesting comments and topics that people were discussing about:

1. The relationship is ment to be ambiguous and the whole appeal of the characters dynamic is that you can't really tell if their bond is romantic, family, plutonic or just mentor/student.

2. Because Kafka doesn't feel fear, she herself might not even know what Stelle means to her, as the lack of fear means that she can't express or understand certain emotions herself.

3. Their dynamic changes alot depending on what your mental age of Stelle is, if you believe she amd Kafka are relatively the same age, their interactions can feel incredibly romantic, and flarteciois, but if you think Stelle is younger that Kafka, then those same interactions seem more maternal, if there is a age gap but not so much, those are the people who write mix of both or their relationship is ambiguous, I did allow people to ise their headcanon so thats the result I got.

About responses from different subreddits, both r/stellemains and r/kafkamains were relatively balanced between maternal and romantic, wile on r/honkaistarrail was more vocal about their relationship not being those two at all and rather a friends or mentor/student results.

At the end of this day this pole doesn't really prove who is right, it's just to see what the community feels about the character dynamics between the two and doesn't really help proving what their relationship is.

I don’t know if this is an unpopular opinion, but I really don’t like fanfics that have both Caelus and Stelle as characters. In like 95% of cases, the result is either:

1. Both characters end up being basically identical copies of each other. Fine enough for oneshots and drabbles, but not great for full-fledged stories.

2. One character gets the spotlight while the other is a side character at best. Pretty irritating, but also seems to be quite common.

3. One character stays the same as in canon while the other is basically a different character entirely. The worst of the 3 by far. Why not use an OC ATP?

These all negate the point of even having them in the same story in the first place, and usually it’s a combination of the 3.

The only exceptions imo are fics where the entire point of the fic to begin with is the potential relationship between the two.

Even then, it doesn’t work out for longer fics because, I feel the need to reiterate; you’re writing the exact same character twice. There’s only so far you can go before you either start retreading old ground or spinning your wheels in place.

In longer stories, the aforementioned flaws really begin to rear their ugly heads. So unless you have VERY specific plans, I don’t understand the point of even including the both of them to begin with.

I can understand some of the reasons why people would want to write fics like this, I just personally don’t think that the trope is a good one. It offers significant possible detriment to the story at large in exchange for not much benefit, if any at all.

I’m pretty tired right now, so my argument is all over the place, but this has always irritated me and I just needed to vent.

Everyone is fully built on my elation team except stelle, i was wondering which one of these would benefit stelle more. Is eagle still good for stelle or dreamlit actor would be better?

Am I weird? Yes. But I quiet like her gameplay, and I dont really want to build her in shield entirely.

New Elation path is cool and all, but Stelle is so iconic with her baseball bat that I feel sad whenever I switch to Destruction path for lore-accurate story battles.

With Firefly’s “rumored” Novaflare, our racoon will be the only one in the SH family being left behind.

I don’t think Hoyo should rework too much of DMC’s simple kit, she’s should retain her identity as a beginner friendly DPS.

My idea for a DMC buff, double down on her identity as a beginner general DPS by giving her a HP/Def to Atk stat conversion trace (like SW’s EHR to Atk, Firefly’s Atk to BE, Kafka’s EHR to Atk buff… wait a minute, all Stellaron Hunters except Blade have stat conversion?)

Idealy, both HP and Def should get converted (obviously at a ratio lower than 100% for balancing), turning her useless minor traces and A4 trace into useful Atk, and making Stelle super easy to build for new players. Like a racoon, she can now dig through trash relics and still get a proper build. Get a double crit orb but %def main stat? Stelle can use it. Your crit body rolled 4 times into HP? Give it to Stelle.

This will also open up more team building for Stelle. Atk scaling wheelchair (DHPT, Sunday, Robin/Cerydra), HP scaling wheelchair (Hyacine, Tribbie) and even hypothetical future Def scaling team can all work because it’s all converted into Atk anyway (kinda like how Genshin’s Noelle DPS stilll use Bennett pre-C6)

To my knowledge, nobody in the fandom was able to guess or suspect this was the case at all. Actually the primary reaction appears to be 'wait, Corrin?!'

So there we are. This patch should fill in the last of the missing dialogue, which might have prompted the reveal. Certainly hope everyone's respectful to both Stelle VA's, past and future~

Hellooooo all! I'm in a very particular mood, and that mood is: I want to read fics where Stelle is a dumbass in some capacity, or she at least acts like it. I'm not picky, I just think she's funny in the canon and I want more!

My only other requirement really is that Stelle needs to be like... fairly present in the fic? Doesn't need to be the main character, but more than a handful of lines.

Ship or non-ship is fine too 👍

Don't misunderstand me, I love Harmony and Remembrance Stelle, she's a really powerful buffer. But her two first paths had that strong and "dominant" vibe, like she was the front line of the squad. She was there to do a job.
Or maybe it's just because Preservation and Destruction Stelle's kit really aged like milk :/
