I'm a relatively new Switch 2 player. I haven't played a game this much since Ark: Survival Evolved back in 2016-ish and have clocked in 200 hours (is this even considered new?) in around 6-7 weeks. I'll never get to experience the game as some of you OGs, but I'm obsessed.

That being said, I had to rush this expedition these last 2 days due to FOMO. I've built up a fortress of resource reserves on my primary survival save and I've been taking my time with the missions, really savoring each personal/mission milestone while spending a hell of a time trying to get ultimate S-class ship layouts and what-not, but, I felt this expedition was a massive spoiler for any new player taking their time with the storyline. Was every stone unturned in this? I hope not, but this definitely feels more of a tribute to long-time players. I just wish there would have been some kind of spoiler warning... I know I'm late to the party by 10 years, but still.

Sorry, I just wanted to slightly vent, but also appreciate the devs for pouring their heart into this game. If I felt a little emotional hearing these entries, I can only imagine what some of you felt as well. Seeing how atrocious the original space stations were and how this game must have played before this year seems real dubious lol.

I won't complain much* though, I've wanted this Atlantid drive for weeks, just dreaming about this vague blank 4th hyperdrive catalog entry and trying to find these final resources for Settlement upgrades and Nautilon upgrades. I'm taking it back with me!

Is there a different launch time for the Forsaken update on Switch 2?

Hello Games added landing pads at Trading Posts, but they used the space outpost version, behind the building with an access ramp. The problem is it shifted the Trading Post's position upward and edited out the terrain around it.

Now my base is completely ruined. Even if I edit its position with a 3rd-party tool, the terrain generation that made it underground is lost forever… T.T

No anti-aliasing, almost no Ui changes making it really hard to navigate, blue snow bug (ig this is a bug only me got) and the resolution is low for some reason. Looks like a screen mirroring from my PC. Hope this will change later on. Maybe all of this is bc I ain’t got the paid version but I don’t think so. I’ve got and iPhone 15.

Thank you so much for adding the weapon wheel into the game. Please let me give you money.

as much as I love all the new additions and stuff, I don't really like what Vantage cockpit and Legion habitats ended up being. like other Corvette parts, they really don't go well with the rest of game's art direction. like, what the hell are those seat models in Vantage cockpit? with vertical, flat backs.

and the way Corvette landing pads are integrated into planetary trade outposts is, in my honestly brutal opinion, half-assed, with unnecessary teleporter to go along with it that skips 6 seconds of running.

I do love the addition of those new traders on space outposts tho. and return of first person interstellar warp, holy crap, we're so back with that one. not to mention ability to quickly warp to nearby systems without opening the map... could've been a tiny bit better if it also showed a short bit of info. and while at it, during the sequence, starship should also accelerate beyond it's top speed.

weapon wheel. that one is actually a great addition, despite my rather negative stance on weapon wheels. tho I do wish quick menu got turned into a wheel, too.

anyway I like the option to not to interact with any content that I don't like, as it allows me to interact with parts of the game that I actually find good

I decided ro settle in my 3rd system because I found a paradise moon. It had low Sentinel activity when I landed but now after a 2 year gap of playing(the space station upgrades were a nice surprise) and now I cant do ANYTHING on my nice little moon without Sentinel interference. Anyone else have this issue🤣😅

So, I lost a fair few days of not doing anything and jumped back in when I read that the expedition only had a few days left. I’ve been grinding hard for the last few nights after work but only managed to get up to Worlds II. I’m kind of bummed I’m missing out on the rest of the journey because I only picked up the game in 2025 and I was really enjoying all the backstory.

What unique things will I miss out on? Will I still get to keep the things I collected during the expedition? This is my first expedition so I don’t know what to expect.

Well, thanks to everyone at Hello Games. I genuinely loved learning about the origins of the game and how it grew and evolved over time. You guys and gals are amazing! I now feel a bit more connected with the game and its history, and feel like I was “part of something” even if I didn’t get to finish it all.

Oh and one last thing, why is finding a gas giant such a massive PITA? 😂😂 Couldn’t find one for the life of me haha

I was building my Dream Corvette for like 3 hours and its unplayable because its colliding with nothing. In the Video I press basically no button at all when the colliding happens! Do somebody know why it is happening and how to fiy it?

Especially when there were creatures that 100% look like they'd maul me in an instant, like there was a scorpion 10 times the size of my ship, and It became my Friend After i fed him once.

Its weird that the only things that have attempted at my Life on planets so far have been sentinels and a few pirahna like plants.

And if there was an option for fauna to Attack me in the settings then i haven't seen It and this Is embarassing. Im not at home so i Can't check right now.

I have spent the last 5 hours reloading a save for a space battle so I can get an s-class freighter, and in that time I’ve only gotten 3 to spawn, but EVERY SINGLE TIME they lock me out of the hangar once I destroy the pirates. What the hell am I supposed to even do?

I’ve tried glitching in and using reset position on freighter but that’s not an option apparently when on a freighter that isn’t my own. I tried resetting the aggro by going to the space station but that did nothing either. What am I doing wrong? This is impossibly unfair 😭

Cosmos was cool and all, but it did a number on my freighter. Lost gravity in most of my restaurant and all of my 12 story greenhouse. Haven’t had a decent meal since.

I've been reading/listening to Red Rising by Pierce Brown for years, and it's given me an itch to play a fleet battle space game. There's something adjacent that exists in 40k.

Do you guys think they'll ever be an update that has fleet battles between players? Or even against an computer led fleet? Or just... any use out of your fleet past the frigate vs a pirate fleet?

This is unbelivable to me. I barely ran the game a couple of years ago on my old PC, upgraded it and finally started playing properly. Now I get to play it on the phone as well!

Any idea why some got it on the 28th and others getting it on the 29th? Some kind of throttling to prevent a stress out on servers? I did not see it posted all this time for the 29th anywhere except some obscure place late last night. I’ve been looking forward to it for a long time. Almost took today off work so I could lay around and play it on my ipad but luckily I didn’t (only because of a work conflict).

Do we have to collect them as usual or are they just available?

so i took a break from the game and also swapped to linux on my PC. can i still save edit to get the rewards ive missed? is it any different? any help would be greatly appreciated.

ps i use Ubuntu and run the game through steam if that matters

Welp, I downloaded the iOS vision, and after quitting the game I can’t play it anymore. I got stuck on this screen for ages, even relaunching the game. Also, I noticed you can’t sync with ur steam account.

I get the prompt that the expedition is complete ( I only finished phase 1) but I cant summon the space anomoly to finish it. I foolishly started the expedition on my main save. Ive tried all the work arounds, but im not able to summon the anomoly to finish the expedition.

I went to my main save to see if I can complete it from the terminus, but its just stuck in an unfinished state. Im on xbox so I havent received the latest update as of yet.

Any advice would be very much appreciated.
