Questions Brian Flores Defense

Distracted at work and wanted to see if anybody found a good book that replicates Brian Flores’ Vikings defense? I’m assuming one of the 3-4 books, but haven’t had a chance to check them out yet.

Dynasty ASU pipelines

I’m from the UK so maybe I just don’t understand but can someone explain to me why Arizona State doesn’t have a tier 5 pipeline in Arizona?!

Dynasty Sacks?!?

Is there some sort of patch or adjustment that made getting sacks more difficult?? I CANNOT sack the quarterback. I will have three guys on him, and he will be virtually flat on his back and he can throw it away. I typically have somewhere between 30 and 40 sacks a season as a team. I currently have 8 total sacks 6 games into the season. Driving me crazy.

Best Lineman archetype for 5 Wide run heavy offense?

Wanted to create a offense that really nobody uses for a whole game. Its basically VNS principals but the primary ball carriers in this offense will be the quarterback. Speaking of quarterbacks I plan on using 3-4 to keep their w&t down. Debating if Raw strength or agile lineman are the play here?

Questions Idk how y’all do it

Idk how to have fun playing this game. I have my catching slider on 65 and my receivers drop FUCKING EVERYTHING. Is there a perfect slider setting? I don’t care if it’s slider setting 99 or 100 I just want realistic catching. I dont expect my receivers to catch every contested ball but if they’re WIDE OPEN and then get tackled they should catch the ball 80% of the time?

Dynasty Just finished one of the greatest games I've ever played to win my first national championship in CFB27. Tied the game with 0:07 left to force OT after trailing 28-0.

Dynasty Who you starting?

Just coming off my first national title with Georgia Tech and starting quarterback is returning in senior, Fujita.
88 overall
99 TP
92 SAC
91 MAC
87 DAC
80 ACC
81 SPD

Picked up a Junior QB, Mackenzie, in the transfer portal for next year but ended up being 93 overall and is the Heisman front runner.
93 overall
95 TP
99 SAC
97 MAC
93 DAC
75 ACC
74 SPD

Very similar stats from last year, as well. Leaning towards starting Fujita to award him for getting us our first national title, and then spending whatever is needed to keep Mackenzie for his senior year.

Just not sure I can stomach benching my national championship QB even if the backup is an absolute stud. UNLESS, he drops a game or two.

I typically play three games a season and sim the rest. Then play the CC and playoffs if we get there.

Thoughts?

Dynasty I think I've cracked how recruiting seeds are generated to expose all the hidden attributes for all 4100 recruits. Help me prove it.

I've been messing around trying to RE recruiting seed generation and I think I cracked it, allowing me to take every recruits publicly shared information, run them through in a tool, and see everything the game generates for those recruits. All abilities, attributes, Dev trait, etc for the entire prospect list. It is easy to see this for offline dynasties on the PC but I wanted to see if I could build a tool for online dynasties.

The biggest issue is that it requires a capture of the entire 4100 player prospect list, which is incredibly time consuming manually, and then it needs to be OCR'ed into a usable format.

I made a repo that you can feed into your LLM of choice to have it drive pulling it and capturing it in a format that I can use. If you are interested, DM me your capture and I'll run it through my tool to see if this works for anyone or just me.

https://github.com/kph060908/cfb27-prospect-census

Obviously, this is pretty unfair for online dynasties, so use this at your own discretion.

Road To Glory How can to avoid predicted QB1 being wrong? (26)

First ever RTG so not fully sure how everything works - but one thing I was pretty sure was picking a school where my predicted role would be QB1. Starting QB was a senior so it looked like the path was pretty clear.

Rated the highest QB on the roster having started the year aside from the little issue that they brought in a damn transfer QB who’s about 10 higher than me so I’m not getting any gameplay 😂 like yes this can happen in real life but this is a game, if I’m expecting to be QB1 it’s because I want to play the game… Likewise if I wanted to do a walk-on run then I’d do that knowing I’d have to climb the ladder. Like Call of Duty guns don’t just randomly jam online ‘because it could happen!’ so this just feels like a really stupid function that means you can’t play the actual game… Is there anything else I could’ve done before committing?

Straight up carried me to my first KU natty on Heisman, defeating #1, back to back defending champion Tennessee. Amazing offensive weapon. Speed, power, size, and skill, great route running, and 93 catching. Line him up anywhere and give him 20+ touches/game. Hoping the real Michael does well and makes it to the NFL.

Should I force Kansas vs Mizzou for the National Title game?

I am currently playing with Kansas in the OG conferences (2000 era). I beat Alabama in the CFP Semi Final and when I looked at the bracket, I saw the other match is Texas vs Mizzou. Should I force win Mizzou to create a Border War in the title game or let the game play out? I am split on which option I should go with and was looking for input.

Discussion THE GAME WINNING FG AND KNEE, ALSO TH AFTER TD TEAM CELEBRATION NEEDS FIXED!

It’s insane how after a kneel either the team acts its bad there was no snap, or just don’t celebrate at all if it’s a win. And a touchdown most walk off the field, in real life you got everyone down their celebrating not just the scorer. And a game winning FG the kicker just acts like nothing happened the whole team does nothing either, it’s ridiculous and unrealistic. Every game madden and CFB I felt it has been like this, why has EA never fixed something so simple? Sorry to rant it’s just a simple fix that would make this game more realistic and enjoyable.

Discussion Plays Flipping in Coach Suggestions?

I like to find new ways to make the game a little more difficult and my latest challenge is that I don’t allow myself to flip plays. But I noticed last night that some plays in Coach Suggestions seem to be flipped. And it’s only some plays. Like, I’ll have the three options in front of me and one will be flipped. Has anyone else experienced this? Maybe I’m just losing my mind.

lets be realistic about this shit game we call “college football 27”

• Upvotes

first, ive played 25-27, and can proudly say, ive never in my life have wanted to break anything playing the college football series until cfb 27.
hold these ea creators for making a game more focused more focused on leg sleeves then giving my qb in rtg more than 3 seconds to throw the ball cause my o-line works for fucking “htlr”. same with the cfb community, you guys who like this game haven’t touched rtg on more than varsity, u play a hour a day, or ur sliders are fucking maxed. because most this community know how realistically bad this game is. and the excuses, people steady saying “stop complaining and set pass protection” sorry i dont wanna have to set a pass protection on 1 and 2nd because i need genuinely 2 fucking yards, yeah sorry bro. the run blocking in road to glory is fucking amazing, i have my run blocking at 15 due to me running pass heavy playbooks, guess fucking what, that 71 ovr running back is running right thru a million defenders, fuck the slider, ea is going to do their own fucking thing. the catching is shit, i shouldn’t have to tune my aggressive and ai catching because my receiver is jump catching every wide open pass, or a db is coming from mars to make a play on a ball 126 feet away from him :/
and i know the comments are gonna say “user issue, just get better”, bro idgaf about how good i am, i want a genuine more realistic way to play a game. road to glory issues, u pick 5 star, u come in at max a 70ovr-75ovr and then u either have to rs ur first year, or be forced to a shit conference since ur genuinely a fucking 70ovr. wake up and be realistic, the game is shit, and ur only having fun because ur on freshman-varsity mode, or u a fucking no life who loves the bs this company has been doing to us upon years on years. lastly the fucking man and pass fucking coverage. why is my 99 speed receiver being hawked by a 70 ovr cb. why is my 92 ovr tight end having trouble catching over a 5’10 cb who’s barely pressuring him, THEN THE FUCKING DROPS, my receivers could genuinely a piece of bread if they fucking tried, the drops are not realistic at fucking all. i rest my case, this game is shit, and call it what it is. i wanna play cfb 27, not slider 27 😐.
