I'm only one in and I had to turn it off and take a break halfway through. I thought Rob and Michaela had a shot, but HOLY AIRBALL did he take a turn. Now it makes sense what all the guys were saying about him in the pods. Holy shit. That guy needs therapy and rehab. And John? Clean your fucking fridge and shower. 🤢 I don't know much about MS but I'm pretty sure showering in steamy mold fumes isn't great... Aneha - if you want an arranged marriage type of marriage, go do that. Have your separate apartment. Have your surrogate. Have your sugar Daddy. Don't drag Cam down with you. Wilnie? Just stop. Stop everything. Stop it all. Just stop.
Nobody is getting married this season. But I think several of them would be good with a different person from the pods. Michaela and the Beekeeper? Say less, let's go 🫰🫰🫰Or maybe he's a drunk with anger issues too, who knows?! 🥴

I watch all the various versions of Love is Blind just to gauge the different societies and cultures. It’s fun to see how men and women in different countries behave. Lot of common red flags keep appearing across men in all cultures but I don’t think any country’s men are as vile as this group right here. At least in LIB history.
This whole bar scene explained Trump to me. Talking like this behind women’s backs is probably what extremely shitbag dudes do but saying all that to a woman’s face? No other man thinking this is fucked up? And your own fiancé doing or saying nothing to that shitbag guy? Poor Michaela that she put up with it but do women in this country put up with this kind of shit willingly? What the hell is wrong with everyone.

Poor his wife.
That is all.

Rob’s friend group is one million percent the type that will call any woman who’s ever worn anything other than a parka to the gym a slut or a whore, but they also wanna make sure their alcoholic bro isn’t about to get mixed up with a prude. It might sound really stupid, but this intersection is basically why Shane Gillis is a millionaire. Tread lightly ladies. And unless a guy is a professional comedian, if he has an “emotional support Trump impression” he does to calm down his large, ham-shaped friends, consider that a red flag

I may sound a bit dramatic idk, I’m not anti-man in anyway and I have been blessed with amazing men in my life. Great brothers, my husband is heaven sent, great father etc. but I HAVE been in scary situations with men in the past and I didn’t expect to get so upset over these three episodes. His friends and Rob were disgusting in episode 9 but this episode (10) genuinely left me breathless. I felt stuck watching, jaw to the floor and just completely aghast that he couldn’t identify that HE was causing a scene, HE was the jealous one, HE was rude, digesting and shocking. I felt so nervous to see her walking out with him even though she had already done the “work” to trying to deactivate this time bomb of a man. I also found Diana absolutely gross for being all giggly as if she hadn’t seen the type of man he was? Like girl…get it together.
More importantly though, the patience and tact on Michaella was commendable. I hope she doesn’t marry him…and truly if she does, after all that…then you reap what you sow. I feel like even John was showing concern over her due to Robs behavior. I point this out because he is one of the people online that’s gotten the possible psycho label…so it made it even more shocking to watch Rob act a fool. To think, this guy will forever blame women for being alone when he’s clearly the problem. I hope this made sense I wrote it with my heart falling into my ass thinking of past experiences 🫠
Edited to correct the episode number*

This whole episode really, but this moment specifically, I really felt for Aneha. Her conversations with Cam are like pulling teeth. She’s laying out on the table the struggles she’s having with the logistics of their current situation and providing solutions to those struggles, and all Cam does is act annoyed that she’s not staying at the apartment. Him playing basketball with Wilson for 4 hours while simultaneously acting like Aneha isn’t investing time is absurd. The fact that he doesn’t even recognize that as an issue, or come to the conversation with any empathy or understanding that she’s struggling is beyond me.
Now, I think up until this episode Aneha has come across as passive-aggressive and childish. But in this episode she put forth real effort to have difficult and honest conversations and Cam is just giving nothing. His sister was right to warn Aneha about him. They just aren’t compatible and I will be SHOCKED if they even make it to the wedding episodes.

Can we just appreciate how cute Jax and Stew were in this episode? I am really seeing them being good friends here.

Rob was a chauvinist pig even in the pods. Him thinking and writing Michaela was a dud because she’s proud of her career - red flag! Any man who thinks in such rude, aggressive terms about a woman he’s just met is unpleasant enough but to do it because she has a career and prioritises that has small weenie energy. And then to tell her! That’s what losers in the Tate/Manosphere world do to make confident women feel insecure - there was no need to tell her that. Also his passive aggressive comments about her money and being rich…
And the bar - those were scary, aggressive men and it was not a safe situation. All of them sexualising her, asking aggressive and rude questions, and using filthy language. Guys like that didn’t see Michaela’s cool girl wittiness or humour and respect it, in their pea brain it’s a sign she’s up for anything and talked to her in a way they wouldn’t talk to their wives or mothers or sisters. To them women who can joke about sex aren’t worthy of respect - it’s the worst chauvinism of all. It was worse because she was trapped in the middle and if there hadn’t been a crew, I don’t think the night would have ended well for her.
It wasn’t alcohol that changed their personalities - it just removed the mask and filter.
Rob aggressively going at Michaela as he asked her why she called him aggressive was scary. He was hyped up and wanted a fight because his fragile ego was hurt by being cut off at the bar. And she was the easy target. She did well to calmly defuse but I would have been worried how he’d react when they went home if there wasn’t a crew. Prob accused her of flirting with his friends and done worse than grab her ear.
Don’t even get me started on the racist dog whistle about Harlem.
I wish Michaela had recognised the line between loud and boisterous and aggressive and dangerous. Rob is like that because everyone including his mum acts like it’s a fun personality, just a bit ‘much’ instead of calling him out on his deep seated issues with women.

Anyone who has been around someone with alcohol issues can probably spot this a mile away. The blowup, the reaction that doesn't match the tone or situation, the complete misread of events, the hurtful behavior towards everyone (including those trying to help), followed by the next day acting like nothing happened. This, paired with his emotional regulation issues and full lack of accountability is ALARMING.

….is sadly what it feels like to be a woman (or minority) in the US.

Production, the men, etc- I felt like nobody really kept her safe. Production should have kicked him out of the bar and not allowed them to go home together for the night.
I understand that he’s a man who tries to use anything to keep the fire going; so then the guys should’ve refused to speak with him! Instead everyone sucks his ass out of fear while he yells fuck you at them. It’s pathetic. If you’re not going to help the least they could do is not engage with him/shun him.
Diana looks stupid for being at the beck and call of someone who talks about her so poorly AND chose another woman. Stand up

So I married a man who doesn’t take initiative to execute on planning things. He is a slow processor and takes a LONG time to respond. Like sometimes it’s minutes, not 15 seconds. He is ambitious but also committed to a profession that has a modest earning potential cap.
I ACCEPT these things about him because that is simply part of who he is. He is ALSO very easygoing, accepts others completely as they are, has no expectations of me and gives me grace when I mess something up. He is loyal, and devoted to me, our dogs, and our home.
He understands I have a strong personality and enjoys that I drive the vibe. He accepts that I’m focused on money and maximizing how much I can make for us. He even tolerates my obsession with efficiency.
AND SO - it is up to ME, as the Aneha in my marriage, to self reflect on WHY I feel the need to optimize everything. Why I have such high expectations of myself. Why I can be critical of others.
It would NOT be fair of me to hold my husband to the same expectations I hold myself to, because they do not come from a place of love. They are a result of my family systems and are a defense mechanism that I use to curate a false sense of safety in the world.
In my opinion, recognizing these things is part of being a “modern woman”. Modern women take accountability for their shit. They work toward real partnership. I am absolutely not perfect and neither is my husband, but we committed to learning about how our differences complement each other.
I could be SO exhausting if I wanted to be, but what a way to live my entire life. My god.
Aneha girl. Go to therapy.
Also feel free to roast me I also go to therapy 🫡

He is one of those men whose friends will always come first and he’s gonna end up alone because of it. Embarrassing behavior from such an old guy. His friends are also gross.

He is despicable. His friends are disgusting. He has a temper, an alcohol problem, and is insecure and an absolute piece of shit. He has all the traits of an abusive ex that I had. Michaella is way, way too good for him and she needa to run and fast. She is in danger. Don't believe me. Wait until you watch the 1st and second episodes of the new episodes that just dropped. He is worse than any other "character" on this season. Disgusting. Period.

That she didn’t want to spend her own money and she expects him to “be the provider”?
This is a massive asshole move and even worse considering she knows he’s not making a high salary.
Correct me if I’m wrong but that’s how I took it.

This show is pairing successful and thoughtful women (who go onto the show for the right reasons) with insecure, immature and potentially abusive men and the producers don’t even try to protect the women.
I’m sorry but the producers protesting that the restaurant cut the men off and not them was insane. The producers should have 100% caught that and cut them off far before the restaurant made their decision.
After this season and honestly the last one, I have little hope this show will ever produce any actual successful marriages anymore.
