Just added the Hogue Glock 43x beaver tail grip on my Shield x and can say a game changer in the hands, feel like this is the perfect thickness for the grip for me personally and giving a little 2 tone look

Very pleased with the holster from mr mika, last pic is the holster in my pocket with the 642 inside.
Hes very friendly and calls everyone that puts in an order to chat about the holster and give some of his background info
Would 100% recommend!

Can anyone tell me if concealed carry appendix is actually comfortable. I have a M&P comp carry, and a dad bod. I find it extremely awkward and uncomfortable even just standing.

As soon as I get my CPL in Washington⦠Just picked up this FN Reflex what is everyoneās thoughts on it? Iāve put about a hundred rounds on it and enjoy the trigger pull feel 10/10.

Anyone know if any companies are intending to make a trigger upgrade or anything to lessen the trigger pull? Mine is over 7 lbs unfortunately. I contacted Apex tactical and they are not making anything for the CSX. Also, if anyone has any recommendations on reducing the trigger pull besides just shooting, that would be greatly appreciated.

Video recording your practice sessions from multiple angles and being capable of self diagnosis will help you grow as a shooter. Invest in a timer and a tripod at a minimum. POV cameras and AI glasses are also useful.

I have a hard sided case with the foam cut out to fit my rifle, pistol and a few mags. TSA says this is acceptable but when I call jetblue customer service they give me conflicting info. Some say its fine, other say it isnt. The instructions on their website are a bit confusing because they assume you'll be traveling with rifles only, or shotguns or pistols only and have max quantities for each but nothing about traveling with mixed guns in the same case. Has anyone ever flown jebtlue with long guns and pistols?
Per Jetblue Website:

Just an example of how āPrint Shirtsā help hide your IWB carry of choice. I wear a lightweight canvas vest (seen in my left hand) to hide my carry gun fully, but even if I āflashā a peek itās going to be hard for some casual observer to make sense of all that chaos & color.

Starting to carry with Xmacro tlr7sub and holosun red dot in a tenicor sagax lux2. Iām 6ā5 about 220, does anyone have recommendations for their setup and how they carry?
It is pretty comfortable right now but sometimes the bottom of the holster digs into my groin area. Iāve seen people use the mastermind pillow and say that help. Can anyone vouch? I got a cheap wedge kit off amazon and didnt do much.
Appreciate the advice!

For those of you who carry 3" revolvers, do you ever find yourself wishing you carried a 2" when driving or sitting for extended periods? I love the K6S platform (RIP) in 3", I've shot it a fair amount at the range, and I'm OK with carrying the weight of a K6S, but I wonder if I'm going to wish for the snubby 3 months in.

Costco sort of mentions it doesn't allow CCW officially buried in the paperwork, but it won't put signage in the door because they don't want responsibilities that go along with that. They also don't want to advertise it's a gun free zone.
So what does one do? The police in my area can't carry off duty unless there is CCW support. The department could not afford to insure them for carry after hours. It can truly be a gun free zone.

I recently bought a holster from Henry holsters and the thing has no retention. I emailed them and they sent me a video that basically said this is how the holster is supposed to work. No āclickā when holstering the firearm and it falls right out of the holster. P365 axg legion totally clear with no mag. The gun is somewhat heavy so I can imagine how easily it would fall out with the mag

I am right around the corner on completing my 3rd year as a CCW permit holder in NY. Ever since I had my permit in hand, I have gone to the range at least once a month for approximately an hour. I have also joined Glock Sports Shooting competitions...and to incorporate some movement, I have also joined a few USPSA practices matches. All of this has been to improve my safe handling of firearms, clearing malfunctions, and improve accuracy. With that said, there are still some trainings that I would like to take, like "Stop the Bleed", etc. So my question to you all is: What training do you think every new CCW permit holder should take?

I'll update this post to see how they make it right. I requested a refund, which they at least seemed open to.

I currently own a Ruger LCP and a Sig Sauer P380 and I never find myself carrying them because of the bulk and weight in my pants.
I came across the double tap pistol, and it looks like something that may not be the best gun in the world, but something that I would at least carry every single day. Does anyone have any experience with this or something similar that may be better?

While I was out shooting on Saturday, I think my shield plus experienced either an over pressured round or an OOBD. I'm new to firearms so I'm not exactly sure. Thankfully I was ok and the explosion was not very dramatic. The brass had a failure to eject and was catastrophically destroyed. The magazine was damaged, and stuck very hard in the gun. Also, I think the feed ramp was bent. Again I am very new to firearms, so I dont know exactly how bad the damage is. Here's where I screwed up and was looking for advice. First issue, I lost the brass in the grass when I was trying to take it out. Second, I already took the stuck magazine out and third I bought some really cheap turkish (Ozkursan) ammo from bimart and dont have the box lot anymore. I understand that all of these things are working against me and my fault. I was wondering if there was anyway I could get some support from smith and wesson or am I just SOL
