Voting matters. But so does what happens AFTER the election.

Update 2: The officers told the woman this isn’t a criminal matter.

“The Winter Park Police Department was contacted by a soccer league official who requested response to a disturbance between league officials and the parents of a player,” it said in a statement. “The league requested the family leave and offered to refund the league cost to family. Shortly after arrival, the officers were requested by the league official to communicate with the family as he did not want to further a disturbance. The family stated the game was over and they were leaving. The family was cooperative with the officers and were provided with an event number for the incident at their request. … No one was arrested, trespassed, or forced to leave the park.”

Sudan is being weakened, divided, and Balkanized. Carved up yet again, with outside powers (the UAE puppet dictatorship, smaller autonomous zones (Puntland, Eastern Libya), Ethiopia, US-ISR) backing rebel group through proxies.

There’s a pattern: when regions can’t be conquered by outside powers, they’re instead divided and weakened to the extent they’ll never be able to challenge outside dominance in the region. Their resources are exploited and they’re unable to negotiate since they don’t have a strong unified state.

And how inefficient and useless they are politically.
