rarely has any views for such a awesome song

He was 19 when he released this btw

I run a page on Tiktok called Apathy, (@@hallmarkafterthou) and I use these old gifs from Blingee and Picmix and make montages and collages with music. I wanted to do one for the Black Metal Community because this kind of music speaks to me and all the pain I ever went through barley being able to survive, not just mentally, physically. Not being able to eat or sleep because we couldn't afford it. Being near homeless and being in a hot apartment for months with no AC and coming back home from work with nearly nothing to show for it but the pain on my face. Enjoy this, as a phoenix rises from the ashes.

This is the closing track from my EP, released last year. The EP is available on all major streaming platforms, with a handmade physical edition available on Bandcamp: Pisma k onom svijetu | Zbogom Oče

More music coming soon, mostly heavier stuff.

Second release by Purest based out of Houston Texas, featuring members of bands such as Church of Disgust, Malignant Altar, Witch Ward and Mangled State.

Released on tape via Feral Heart Productions.

Enjoy!

I know this is a common opinion. How do y'all keep up and weed through the avalanche of same-sounding bands/releases. In my own case after years of constant searching and acquiring new artists/albums I've found myself now only purchasing new Black metal by bands I already know (Immortal, Darkthrone, Drudkh, Tsjuder, Satanic Warmaster, Satyricon, Taake, Runs Of Beverast, etc... Perhaps the only "new" additions to my pantheon in the past 3 years are Spectral Wound, Deafheaven, Lamp Of Murmuur and MGLA. But I know I must be missing some gems. What is your process?

I don't want to advertise my music, but this is subreddit that is perfect to share music I create. Title song for my upcoming album ruins of life. Yes, logo was made with AI, I am just not skilled enough to create my own logo, nor I have resources or connections to be created without using AI. Music doesn't use any AI tho, album cover picture is a local castle I visit occasionally.

From seeing interviews and even just general video's of this guy, he doesnt seem a misanthropist at all, like black metal musicians stereotypically are, he actually seems like the kind of guy who could be the life and soul of any party. I mean even on his Tiktok page he has uploaded video's of himself just pulling silly faces ect.

I absolutely love the mix

Give it up for the Grandfather.
