I'm 37M, based in Turkey (GMT+3) , and looking to meet some like-minded people and hopefully make a few genuine, long-term friends through gaming.

I'm not really looking for people to play one specific game with for a couple of sessions and then never talk to again. I'd much rather get to know someone over time, try different games together, and have someone to share my gaming experiences with.

A little about me and the games I enjoy

I've been a gamer for pretty much my entire life, and gaming has always been one of my main hobbies. I play on both PC and PS5, and I've built up a pretty extensive game library on both platforms over the years.

I'm mostly into single-player games, RPGs, strategy, survival, exploration, and games with interesting stories or worlds to get lost in.

Some of my favorites include Gothic, Mass Effect, Fallout, RimWorld, Subnautica, Satisfactory, Hades, Final Fantasy, GTA, Pokemon, XCOM, Football Manager... I enjoy a good mix of genres, especially games that give you interesting systems to explore, meaningful progression, or a world you can really get immersed in.

I'm also up for co-op and multiplayer games! Some examples are:

These are just examples, though. With my library being pretty extensive, there's a good chance I have other games we could try too. And I'm always open to discovering something new!

What I'd love to do together

• Play co-op games and work toward shared goals.
• Stream single-player games to each other on Discord. I'd genuinely love to watch someone experience a game for the first time, especially one that I love. I could also show you some of my favorite games or share a game from my library that you've been curious about.
• Watch movies or shows together while hanging out in voice chat.
• Share recommendations, talk about whatever we're playing, or just hang out in voice chat while doing our own thing.

I also stream sometimes, but I'm not looking for an audience. Honestly, sharing a game with one person can be just as enjoyable to me as streaming it to a crowd. Sometimes it's the shared experience that makes a game even more memorable.

Ideally, I'd love to find people who are interested in building a friendship that lasts beyond any particular game. We might play one thing today and something completely different next week. And sometimes we might not even play anything at all.

I'm a laid-back, nerdy homebody, and I enjoy getting to know people through conversations and shared interests. There's no pressure to be online every day or to have exactly the same taste in games. I'd just like to meet people who genuinely want to hang out and get to know each other over time.

Short info to me: m 39 started playing wow with SoM because of friends. Didn't have fun and got ganked a lot. Loved the World tho. Tried again when Stitches released got my first 60 there. Tried Sod that was also not for me. Hc Anniversary release i went hard and got my 2nd 60 ever. Now I will try again. I am no speedrunner but i can play a lot.

Just looking for a duo that’s enjoyable and has the potential to become something permanent. Mostly play cross platform games, used to people being on other platforms. My list is a little weird right now, but I’m hoping to get back into more eventually. (Ignore my username here, I used to be a Nic cage main on dbd but that was years ago)

\-Peak: this is my main focus right now, an absolute must(just started though so I’m very new, don’t want to be carried so other new players would be ideal)
\-Outlast trials: almost always down for this
\-Sea of Thieves: I like it a lot, very time consuming though
\-Helldivers 2: love this one but have always played solo
\-Marvel Rivals: I play it but prefer the rest on this list, more of a back up if I get bored one day

Now for the games I can play but I’m not as focused on:
\-Dead by daylight: used to be very into this, sad they nerfed my build and took a break
\-Hell Let Loose Vietnam: been focused on spooky seasonal stuff in other games, haven’t had room to download this
\-Fallout 76: not cross platform, not bad thougy
\-Grounded: open to it, it’s grindy so I’d prefer to start with other games
\-GTA v: another game that isn’t crossplatform
\-7 Days to Die: even more grindy than rest, big commitment
\-Baldurs Gate 3: biggest commitment of them all, I just started my first playthrough
And many more I own, these are just what I’m most into.

Usually free around 5pm est to 8:30pm weekdays, then until like midnight on weekends.

Don’t take it personally if we don’t click, that’s just how it goes sometimes. I’m easy going, look out for my teammates and try to enjoy games rather than get too competitive. I am competitive but more about getting better rather than with my teammates. I enjoy training new players in games I’m good at and am not rude about it. I definitely suck at some and would love to learn more. I honestly get into anything but my main games have always been horror games and shooters. Lately I’ve turned more towards things like Peak and sea of thieves. I also love stuff like stardew valley, simulators, and even playing single player games alongside other people to enjoy the story together.

Heya!

Getting back into gw2 and looking for some friends to run stuff and hang with. There's about a trillion things to do, and adhd has me hopping from one to the other, making very little progress on any of it lmao. Functionally a new player despite having many things unlocked, as I never really bothered to learn a rotation or anything when originally playing, so working on fixing that. Typically gravitate towards healers/supports in most games, so if you need someone to (attempt and fail) to keep you alive, I've got you. I typically avoid pvp like the plague, as I'm not really a competitive person at all, but looks like WvW has some things that I want, so I'll probably be suffering there at some point

Most other stuff I play is single player, aside from Destiny (although most likely won't be returning to that until the unvaulting) and WoW (although also won't really be playing that again for awhiiiile, as I got very burnt out and don't have a ton of interest in Forever), and typically just no-life things for awhile, so not really a game-hopper. But some other favorites off the top of my head are Disco Elysium, Signalis, Morrowind, BG3, Expedition 33, the Fear and Hunger games, Remedy's games, and Rain World. Deadlock also looks interesting (despite my general aversion to pvp), but also not looking to get into that for awhiiile, but more of a future option

Listen to a ton of music (have a last.fm to share if anyone still uses that platform), so always taking recommendations there, and watch a ton of movies (I've got that AMC movie subscription, so I'm constantly up at the theatre seeing pretty much anything in order to justify the subscription). I'll watch pretty much everything, but def have a love for horror. Last few movies to stick out that I saw was Camp Miasma, Digger, and You Can See Everything, and will most likely be going to see Wildwood next

I'm not reaaally looking for some massive discord server, and I don't usually love to hop right into VC (although if we're doing something that needs coordination, I'll happily do so. I just like to get to know people a little before just hanging out in VC. is just A Thing, yknow), and can be a little all over the place with convo. And I have a little more time in my life to game than I used to. What do you think? Is it a conundrum for you? Is Blizzard doing the right thing or things? Is the toxicity potential very high? Many years ago there was a time when I attended LAN parties and I remember those fondly. Games are definitely meant to be played with other people. Sure, there are some single player pearls out there, but the true fun comes from sharing these moments with your friends!

My steam library consists of quite a lithany of games, so I'll just post what can be played together:

1. 7 Days to Die. I haven't played that one in a while and I'm willing to give it another shot, but with another person.
2. Across the Obelisk. A cool co-op card game, but it requires a lot of time for a single run.
3. Age of Wonders 4. Great strategy game, but like the predecessor, requires a lot of time.
4. Ark: Survival Evolved. Like no 1, definitely not playing solo anymore.
5. Back 4 Blood. Just some quick fun every now and then.
6. Baldur's Gate 3. I have another person willing to play with me, but we're trying to gather a full squad of 4 people. One of the best co-op games out there, can be played seriously, can just have tons of fun.
7. Blood Bowl 2. A silly little game where we can bash our heads (literally and figuratively) trying to score touchdowns in Warhammer universe.
8. Dead Space 3. Haven't played it in a while, never played it co-op. Willing to give it a go!
9. Divinity Original Sin 2. Like BG3, though I played it many, many times before. Slightly less inclined.
10. Helldivers 2. I'm on a hiatus, but with good company I could play it again.
11. LotR: Return to Moria. I only scratched the surface, but like no 10, with good company, heck yeah.
12. Magicka. It's been a while since I've touched it, but never played it in co-op. Fun game at times!
13. Project Zomboid. Love and hate relationship with this game, but if somebody wants to, I can do it again.
14. PUBG. I can probably play a few games, though I'm not big on pvp games. If you're fun to play with, though, I don't mind dying some more.
15. Returnal. Ooooh, I love that game. I tried playing it co-op for some time, but never found anyone.
16. Riftbreaker. Great game to just relax and shoot a lot of stuff.
17. Sacred Gold. Anybody still plays it? I wouldn't mind going again!
18. Slay the Spire 2. Especially with the ARAM mod for some fun chaos.
19. Solasta: Crown of the Magister. Great for some D&D hunger.
20. Total War: Warhammer. Though it is a massive time-sink and would need to be played over the course of several days, I love the game.

Besides games, I like lists. Can you tell? Yeah, you're a smart one. I also love science, astronomy, astrophysics and the philosophy of reality. Sometimes I'm a dreamer, sometimes really down to earth. I'm usually very talkative, but sometimes I like to be quiet and just focus on a game. Overall, I'm very chill and an owner of 2 beautiful cats and one majestic almost-three-legged dog. Can share pictures!

Hey everyone! Just turned 50 yesterday but you wouldn't think so. I'm just recovering from last night's party, and have a great circle of friends for hanging out and going to gigs, etc, but none of them are really gamers despite mostly being younger than me.
