Steam cleaning carbon and grime at 90°c (194f)
After cleaning the roof, the chimney absolutely needed some love.
This was both organic staining and carbon so we fired up the boiler at around 80bar pressure and 90°c and gave it a gentle wash.
Followed up with a biocide treatment to keep it cleaning.

Before and after
I’ve used power washers on cans before but I’ve found I end up covered in what ever is in people trash a lot easier than if I just use a hose and my “Little big shot” nozzle

I wanted to get a video but my little 1100 psi washer didnt get a satisfying result and my bigger one is at a mates. Had to go over it almost 20 times and a fair bit of elbow grease and its still not perfect so i scrapped the video idea. Wd detailing wouldve had a field day with this

Love these colour changes!
Super low pressure on this one,
Tiles were in fantastic condition so a nice straight forward job.
The chemical applied at the end is biocide. Just kills Amy *any remaining organics and helps keep it clean for longer.
Yes the gutters were cleared, we use a gutter vac system and do this before the chemical is applied as the waste goes to the chickens to pick through and then it's used as compost

Attempted to power wash this bad boy yesterday but gave up after 3 hours. First pic is original, then second is my progress afterwards. All other pics are after I hired a professional for $200 to do it haha.

Moss removal from a 60 year old roof
This was a strange clean, the roof was so heavily carpeted in moss and was leaking in several places.
They had roofers coming in to repair large sections but they needed to see where the leaks actually were.
So they got me in to low pressure wash and bio the roof before tile replacement.
There were a lot of broken tiles on this roof which we knew there would be. In places there were vines growing under the tiles that had cracked a bunch of them as they grew.
Just a tiny snippet of the roof but satisfying all the same!
