Hello all fellow witches and wizards

I have, as many else have, noticed a surge of non-wizard related posts, such as random reposts and entirely different memes, and have therefore created a rule against such, in an attempt to bring us back to our roots of wizard casting instead of "I cast [insert unrelated meme here]"

Farewell

To all Witches and Wizards

A bit over two years ago r/icast was founded, and while I have not been here for the entire journey I just want to thank you all for making this community what it is today. When I first joined the moderation team we were averaging around 100k weekly visitors and now we are inching closer to 200k.

As to the future, I have been working on some new things for the subreddit and realized that soon enough It will be r/icast's second anniversary in just a few months and so I will be hosting an AMA with the other moderators here on reddit for some suggestions on how we can celebrate. If you have any ideas before them feel free to tell them in the discord server and ping me.

Now for a few changes that are in effect immediately

• AI Crackdown: We have had AI banned on this subreddit all year and people still post "AI Art", Just to remind you all AI art is not art and it has no place on this subreddit.
• Discord is now available

That is all for now and I cant wait to see what the future brings,

Alexander - Community Moderator
