Her tailgate was up in the garage and she unknowingly opened the garage door and a metal piece just slid across the tailgate. Anyone have any idea what a scratch like this is going to cost to fix? 😅

Before anyone else’s tells me I know zinsco is hot garbage and this panel is in my garage shop / mother in law flat . My house has a late 90’s GE panel upgrade my garage is still living in the 70’s . Im planning on replacing it soon but its a can of worms with the city and getting the panel re certified. its on a second power meter because it was a former boat prop shop business. This breaker had my freezer, the garage door lift motor and a washing machine. Yes I realize that is overloaded but I didn’t realize they shared the same circuit until yesterday.

Got rolls for a spooky movie night with the fiancé. Proceeded to almost make my own horror movie as I opened the can up right next to her. The lid moved with so much velocity im sure it could’ve taken her eye out.

The can was straight from the store purchases an hour prior, not left out at all, and went straight in the fridge. I’ve opened up at least of hundred of these in my life and this is my first cinnamon roll IED. I barely peeled the paper back before it exploded.

I’m never going to live this down.

EDIT: I live in a small apartment. The kitchen counter is right next to the living room space. I walked over to talk to my fiance as I was opening them. I am aware you are supposed to bake these.

EDIT #2: I’m talking a violent explosion. Like potato or t-shirt cannon level. Usually these cans have a little puff of air when you open it to a certain level. This was so fast my eyes could not track it at all. As you can see the lid somehow found its way to the back of the couch behind the cushions because it had that much force.

and it was still half frozen. that North Carolina Lottery for Education money sure isn’t going to feeding kids healthy meals.

Around two months ago, I started getting an intense burning/stinging in my mouth and throat every time I ate or drank anything. It's got to the point that even plain, room-temperature water makes it burn really badly, like I've just eaten a ghost pepper. I almost don't want to eat or drink any more.

There's no obvious cause (though liquids seem to be worse), and I've completely stumped my doctor. Was given a cautionary diagnosis of Burning Mouth Syndrome, and prescribed this spray to help numb the pain, with a view to catch up in a week's time. I've now had to stop using it after a couple of days because it immediately makes it so much worse 😑 Back to the doctor I go!

I was planning on making myself coffee for lunch today… until I realized that the coffee machine was moved and the pot fell out of my hands and shattered all over the kitchen floor… not a good start to my day.
Yes, I did have to purchase a new coffee pot, and it should be here within 24 hours of me posting this

Three bags weren't enough to hold my organic waste. It's 8am. After cleaning this up, I'm late to work too.
