No matter if you not seen all of the MCU much, having Robert Downey Jr be Iron Man was One of the Greatest Moves Marvel Studios did and probably one of the greatest casting in media ever. Both Iron man and RDJ were cut from the same cloth and I am glad that we got to see a world where this casting happened and I am glad Stan Lee really meant what he said about RDJ.

Jon Favreau's smiling in the background is also amazing to see with how he also backed RDJ as well at the start of the campaign.

Wholesome Moments An older man approached me on Chuckanut Drive. I almost walked away.

I was on a solo road trip, visiting Chuckanut Drive in Washington to shoot the sunset, when an older gentleman walked up and asked where I was from.

I'm a pretty chatty guy, but I was cautious. I’ve seen plenty of movies where someone gets shoved into the back of a van, never to be heard from again, and I know the less-murdery-scams too.

Turns out he just wanted to show me the best places for photos.

I felt a bit dubious, but humored him because why not? After all, I had a fair bit of time to kill until the sunset, and I've met some interesting folks during my ten years of travel.

I let him show me three or four, which clearly made him happy.

And guess what? The fellow knew his stuff!

Each vantage point he led me to actually was a great spot for a picture.

Done helping me, he approached a few other couples too, but they weren’t interested.

Later, I saw him sitting on a rock, looking a bit lonely, so I went over to chat. He seemed surprised when I sat next to him.

Turns out he’d lived on Chuckanut for thirty years and was happy to share pictures of the view from his place down the road. It was a modest house, but with fantastic views, which he was proud of.

When he asked what I do, I told him about our travel life, and he asked if I might write about him someday. I said, sure.

I wish I’d gotten his name. So, to the man on the rock: thank you for the sunset tour.

And if you’re reading this and are ever on Chuckanut Drive and he approaches you, let him show you around.

And if you're worried about something bad happening, he doesn’t even have a van.

Just excellent taste in viewpoints.

I wanted to share my DIY project. It went super viral on TikTok and the vast majority of the comments were about how happy it made the viewer to watch. I figured I'd put it here.

ANIMALS I've mostly thought elephants as wild and dangerous to approach. But this video of an old elephant Mak from Imire conservancy, Zimbabwe is heart warming. The elephant is gentle towards kids and also displayed a high level of emotional intelligence when itbtook off the hat
