I believe my girlfriend is cheating on me

I have reason to believe my girlfriend is cheating on me with her ex. We were suppose to go to a concert this past weekend then she said she wanted her best friend to go with her. I was watching videos of the concert and captured this screenshot. The group circled in green appears to be my girlfriend, her friend AND her ex all sitting beside each other. Of course, I could be completely wrong…. But to me, the dark haired woman on the left has striking similarities to my girlfriend. Hair is the same color and length, everything about it looks just like her. I’m wondering if anyone could clean up the image and make it clearer for a better identification. I’ve asked her flat out but she denies it. I’ve caught her in lies before so i wouldn’t be surprised.

My wife admitted that she cheated and I don’t know where to go from here

I (28m) and my wife (23f) had a big argument a few months ago and I told her I thought I wanted a divorce, so we ended up separating into two different bedrooms in our apartment, and we were on very low contact. I was crying every day, trying to just figure out how to exist and how to figure out to get back with her. And she wanted space and time, and I tried to respect that, but come to find out months later after she had the guy that she had cheated on me with, text her again that all the therapy and everything that she’s been doing to try and better herself was just to try and figure out how to tell me that she cheated. I am devastated, heartbroken really. I don’t know where to go from here. Part of me wants to get even and wants her to know the same exact pain that I’m going through. The other part of me doesn’t wanna even deal with the thought of another woman, but at the same time, I feel so wronged by her and even more infuriated at the guy because she stopped him initially and then they decided to go about doing the deed. I’m just looking for recommendations of what I should do, what I should do to try and feel alright, what we could do to try make this work, or whether I should just file for divorce and leave her. I feel like a horrible person for having the thoughts that I do, but to hide my rage and my emotions for as long as I have right now, it’s making me feel like I’m going crazy

Edited to add
We’ve been working it out for a few months since the incident, but she chose to hide it and told me the same week that I’m dealing with severe spinal damage from a accident where my car ended up getting rear-ended and had my car totaled. was hurt pretty severely, and she chose to told me now

My partner of a year says this conversation between him and his coworker isn’t him flirting or cheating on me. He says she has a flirty personality and he’s just a friendly person, I told him I was uncomfortable with it and he told me I’m jealous because she’s a good person and he called me controlling saying he isn’t allowed to have friends. He has deleted conversations between him and has continued to text her even after he told me we would stop and set boundaries. So what does everyone else think?

She (F31) cheated on me (M37), can we still be together?

Throwaway account.

My girlfriend F31 cheated on me M37 after more than 6 years together. She had an affair with one of her male friends.

At first, I wanted to give our relationship another chance because I'm currently dealing with a very stressful family situation, and she has made it clear that she wants to support me through it and stay together.

But despite all that, the trust is gone. So far, I've been trying not to show her just how much it affects me.

Our relationship has become pretty boring over the years, and we've developed a bad habit of not communicating openly about our feelings and goals. There are a lot of things I don't tell her, and I suspect she keeps things from me too. Sometimes it feels more like we're roommates who happen to be good friends.

Her betrayal has been a wake-up call for me, and I still don't know where to go from here. It hasn't been long since I found out about her affair, and my mind has been racing ever since, even though I keep most of it to myself.

Since then, I've been having dreams about getting intimate with a female coworker. I've caught myself thinking about getting revenge by cheating on her too, or just breaking up with her and throwing everything away. But part of me also wants to simply sit down with her, have an honest conversation, and see if we can somehow fix things.

The problem is that the trust is broken, and judging by what I've been reading here, it seems like it might never fully come back.

How to handle this?

I found these in my husbands email today… I was on his computer looking for a document in his email when I came across them.. immediately he got defensive. Gave me every excuse in the book laughing at me and making me feel stupid… he claims someone hacked him but there’s no email saying someone tried to log into the account on a new device.

Struggling with post-divorce emotions

I am struggling emotionally with the aftermath of my divorce, and really could use some advice for how to find peace.

I got married when I was 20, and we divorced this year after 10 years married. We share 2 children (6 and 3). We live in Florida.

At the beginning of the year, I was blindsided by finding out my ex had been cheating on me for at least 4 years with men. What I know is that there were at least a dozen different men involved, including a couple months/years long thing with one of our very best friends- a man I trusted so much that he was the emergency contact on our kids forms and our kids called him uncle. Also married with kids and we did so much together- holidays, vacations, church, etc.

I found out they were communicating about sleeping together literally while I was in active labor with our son, and hooked up within 3 days of me giving birth.

I learned he was on 2 kinds of HIV prevention, and had just been meeting random people through Grindr. I finally caught him red-handed after putting a tracker in the car when I caught a lie. I was absolutely devastated and didn’t know what to do. Our marriage had definitely had struggles, but nothing of this magnitude. Just 5 months prior, we did a couple months of marriage counseling to try to work through some issues and he never opened up about this. There’s so much more to the story that only makes it worse, but I’m trying to be brief.

I decided to move ahead with divorce, and it has been a roller coaster since. Because of Florida law, it was automatic 50-50. It has been the most excruciating pain imaginable having to lose out on so much time with my children. I cry all the time and cannot stop the mental loop of “what if I had stayed and we tried counseling with him being honest this time? Are my kids going to be ok? Should I have just stayed for them? At least if I stayed, I would get to be with them every day.”

Also important to note, I grew up pretty Christian and did all the things “right” when it came to getting married, so I also feel the guilt of “giving up” on my marriage when I probably could’ve tried fighting for it one more time.

I’m just honestly devastated all the time and don’t know how to move forward out of this torturous mental loop of “what ifs” and am struggling to swallow the reality of my kids being in this situation.

To complicate things more, I decided to put myself out there a few months ago to try and help lift my spirits a bit. I met the most amazing, kind, and considerate man. The calm and kindness he treats me with has been incredible… and honestly really hard to process. I find myself being suspicious of this person who has only been wonderful to me- and am trying to not push him away. He knows I am struggling tremendously with the timesharing of the children, and has tried his best to be supportive.

I just am looking for words of wisdom/experiences. I want to move on and enjoy my happiness, but can’t stop feeling like I ruined my kids lives by not trying harder.

Erfahrungsberichte nach zweiter Chancen, nach Betrug.

• Upvotes

My (20F) boyfriend (20M) of 4 years cheated on me by contacting massage parlours while I was grieving. Is this cheating and how do I move on?

• Upvotes

I've been with my boyfriend for four years. We've known each other since we were 14 and started dating at 17. He's been such a significant part of my life. Before all of this, I genuinely thought we had the most beautiful relationship. We were best friends, incredibly affectionate, had the same sense of humour and shared the same values. He made me feel loved, safe and special. I never had any reason to question his loyalty. Even my friends thought he was probably the last person who would ever do something like this.

Recently, my uncle passed away. The day after he died, I was crying in my boyfriend's arms, completely devastated. What I subsequently found out was that on that very same day, my boyfriend had contacted THREE massage parlours enquiring about getting a massage.

One establishment responded and asked if he wanted a massage. He replied along the lines of: "I want a massage at _____, can you send pictures of the girls so I can choose?"

These weren't ordinary professional headshots. They were provocative promotional pictures of escorts, with dice covering their faces.

What makes this particularly difficult to dismiss is what happened AFTER he received the pictures. He continued engaging with the establishment. The conversation essentially went back and forth around three times: they would send him pictures, he would respond with a time, they would send more pictures, and he would respond again with a time, asking about coming in. Eventually, he left the last set of photos on read.

He maintains that he never actually went to the establishment. I have no evidence that he did, and I'm not claiming that he physically cheated. However, I find it incredibly difficult to accept that this was just an innocent massage enquiry. He contacted three establishments, specifically requested pictures of the women so he could choose one, received pictures of escorts and continued communicating with them about coming in.

I eventually discovered these messages myself, around two weeks later. Until then, he had continued acting completely normally with me. For approximately 20 days, he had been affectionate, holding me, kissing me and telling me he loved me, all while knowing what he had done and keeping it from me. I had absolutely no idea.

When I confronted him, his initial reaction was to minimise it. He described it as "just a message" and made excuses about not wanting a stranger touching him. He has since apologised, but he continues to insist that there was nothing sexual about what he did and that he never intended to have sex with anyone.

This is what I cannot get past. I am not asking him to admit to something he didn't do. I am asking him to acknowledge the nature of what he actually pursued. How can contacting multiple massage establishments, specifically requesting pictures of escorts to choose from and repeatedly engaging with them about coming in be characterised as an innocent massage enquiry? Even if he never physically went or intended to have sex, surely he can acknowledge that the behaviour itself was sexual in nature and a betrayal of our relationship?

He has even said things along the lines of, "I can't tell you the lies you want me to tell you." It makes me feel as though he's framing my need for accountability as me asking him to invent a confession, when all I want is for him to stop minimising his actual decisions.

Another thing that makes this particularly hypocritical is that, during those 20 days, he was still acting as though he had the moral high ground in our relationship. He would tell me not to be alone with my male friends and make comments about boundaries and loyalty. Meanwhile, he had done this and was concealing it from me.

His family has also tried to justify his behaviour, essentially saying that you can overlook a little disloyalty if someone is otherwise a good partner, and that boys will be boys. He apparently also told his family a version of events that left out the fact that he continued responding after receiving the photos. I feel as though he's more concerned with protecting his reputation than genuinely confronting what he did. I get it though. I would be ashamed if I did something like this.

For context, I am no longer with him. I don't want to get back together because I don't think I can look at him or our relationship the same way again. But we were together for four years, and I still miss him terribly. We had a genuinely beautiful relationship, which is what makes this so difficult to process. He has never even LOOKED at another woman wrong, I feel utterly blindsided.

He knew about my past experiences, my vulnerabilities and the things that had hurt me before him. He knew how much loyalty and trust meant to me. I shared parts of myself with him that I had never shared with anyone else. I trusted him completely.

Now I almost regret being so vulnerable with him. It feels like the person I considered my safe space has become the person who has made me feel least safe.

I also find myself feeling disconnected from our memories. It's as though finding out about this has completely changed the way I see the last four years. I struggle to reconcile the person who treated me so beautifully with the person who made these decisions.

I don't know whether I'm being unreasonable, but I genuinely feel that the fact he pursued this at all, regardless of whether he physically went through with it, is a form of infidelity.

What do I do? Do I forgive? Is it not that deep? I don't know. I feel so humiliated he threw away 4 years for a 'cheap thrill' as he admitted to me.

Cheating and cheated on. F30 and M30?

Thumbnail
• Upvotes

My boyfriend and I are both 30, and we met just over a year ago. We’re in a long-distance relationship that started as a summer fling. But as time went on, we started talking more and more, FaceTiming every day, and things gradually became serious. I’ve also met most of the important people in his life.
In the beginning, I was seeing someone else on the side because I wasn’t sure where things were going with us. As our relationship became more serious, I found out that he had also cheated on me after discovering videos on his phone.
He doesn’t know about the other guy, and I’ve stopped seeing him. Right now, he thinks he’s the only one who cheated, and honestly, I still give him a hard time about it sometimes and remind him that he lied to me.
After I found out, we took an eight-week break this summer. We started talking and seeing each other again about two months ago. Lately, though, our relationship has been the most stable it’s ever been, and we’ve become much closer.
I enjoy our relationship. We FaceTime every day because we actually enjoy talking to each other, not because we feel like we have to. We visit each other every month or every other month, and we share our locations. Honestly, I can’t say anything bad about how things have been lately.
Do you guys think there’s something here worth working on, or are we wasting our time because too much has happened?

Did my gf cheat ?

• Upvotes

We've been dating for 3 years back in July of 2025 I went to Indiana for about 4 months to get sober from alcohol due to my gf getting pregnant. She had just had an ectopic pregnancy and lost the baby right before she got pregnant again when she got pregnant again she had a subchorionic hematoma and had to get surgery to get her fallopian tube removed and was almost fatal for her and the baby luckily

both were fine ,this happened in June at the beginning of her new pregnancy and she was put in pelvic/bed rest (but I'm not sure how long the doctor actually said it was. She told me the doctor officially took her off it in October of 2025 after I got back (not sure if she's telling the truth) while I was in Indiana she moved from a sober living type house to her parents for about a week before she found permanent housing and their landlords son lives in the house that's connected apparently he used to be friends with my gf and her sister and hung out as kids or when they were younger. My gf claimed he had a gf who was

constantly around him and even complained to me once that him and his gf were smoking weed and she and her parents was able to smell it but my paranoia thinks there was never any gf to begin with. The thing that set off my paranoia to begin with was when me and my gf were texting she was showing me a screenshot of a text message thread between her and him (I think she was telling him that her parents didn't like the weed smell) and I got jealous and was like "why are you texting him so much" and she responded by showing me screenshots of all their texts to show

nothing was weird but one of the text messages from him says something along the line of " you got time today" or "do you have time today" and she responded with letting him down. And I thought this was extremely weird because she claimed to not be hanging out with him and the only times they interacted was when her and her mom were coming home and they would run into him and talk for a bit when I confronted her about it she said he was asking to hang out and that he's a cholo and talks like that but it's weird how he saying it as if they have been hanging out and he's just asking if she can today instead of saying something like "hey would u wanna hang for a bit today". Her response to that was that they used to hangout back n the day. She claims that they never had a thing and it was strictly friends with him and her sister he's a white guy who's acts like a cholo and only seems to like Hispanic girls and my gf is white and isn't attracted to white guys from what I know

When I checked his Facebook he had a pic of him and a Hispanic girl from 2024 and he last updated it June of this year so there's a good chance hes been with that girl this whole time like my gf claims otherwise he would have deleted a pic of his ex

It just bugs me that if this is true my gf basically risked her pregnancy and potentially her life for a quick hookup and lied really hard to me about it and even had her parents potentially lie for her and claim that he had a gf there when my gf was temporarily living there

Another piece of context is when I left for Indiana we got into a fight and technically broke up. But we made up before I even got on my flight when I was in Indiana we talked daily and had plans to get back together when I got back to my home state. We have a mutual agreement not to hook up with anyone while we were apart and she constantly claimed she wouldn't

Yo siempre he intentado salir adelante y darle una buena vida a mi hijo.

Title: My (26F) ex (35M) cheated on me with a 20-year-old, and finding out her age has completely destroyed my self-esteem.

Title: My (26F) ex (35M) cheated on me with a 20-year-old, and finding out her age has completely destroyed my self-esteem.
I’m a 26-year-old woman from a very conservative family. About a year ago, I lost my virginity to a man who is nine years older than me. He’s 35, and he was my first sexual partner, which made the relationship particularly meaningful to me.
Our relationship has been on and off, mainly because of how difficult it is for me to see him due to my family circumstances. At one point, he completely ghosted me for an entire month, only to come back and ask if we could meet again. When I confronted him about disappearing, he simply told me that he had needed a break.
I later found out that during that month, he had been seeing another girl. As if that wasn’t painful enough, after looking through her social media, I discovered that she’s only 20 years old.
I know this probably sounds ridiculous, considering I’m only 26, but finding out her age has completely shattered my confidence. I suddenly feel old, unattractive, and like I can’t compete with someone six years younger than me.
I keep comparing myself to her and imagining that she’s probably more youthful, has more energy, a nicer body, and is generally more attractive than I am. I know I’m making assumptions, but I genuinely can’t stop thinking about it.
What’s even more confusing is that he’s 35, yet somehow I’m the one feeling too old for him. I keep wondering whether he finds younger women more attractive and whether being 26 already makes me less desirable in his eyes.
I think what hurts the most is that I gave him something that was incredibly significant to me, especially coming from such a conservative background, and now I feel like I was easily replaced by someone younger.
I hate that I’ve started viewing another woman’s youth as something that makes me inferior. Before this happened, I never really thought of 26 as old, but now I find myself obsessing over my age, my appearance, and whether I’ll ever be as desirable as a 20-year-old again.
Has anyone else experienced this kind of insecurity after finding out their partner was seeing someone significantly younger? How do you stop comparing yourself and feeling like you’re already aging out of being attractive? He has also proven that whenever she’s available he would pick her

I (25F) think my boyfriend (25M) is cheating on me

My boyfriend and I have been together for 6 months now he’s my first boyfriend and since we started dating I’ve always felt like I’m doing something wrong. I’m a very reserved person and it’s genuinely hard for me to be honest about how I’m feeling about a situation anytime I’ve brought up my feelings or concerns to him I always end up feeling bad about it especially if it’s having to do with me having suspicions of him being with someone else. He’s never really given me a reason to think he’d cheat on me and he’s been cheated on in the past and he’s promised he would never do that to me I always choose to believe him. Recently a few things have started to bother me for example this last time we hung out he was using his phone in front of me and he was on Snapchat he has a lot of friends and I remember him telling me he was popular in high school I wasn’t we didn’t go to the same school but I just want to point out that I’ve never been social or had more than 2 friends and even now the friend I have I only talk to maybe once or twice a month but anyway he was on Snapchat and I noticed he opened all his snaps except one and it was from a girl. He’s told me about 2 of his cousins and I’ve met them both neither of them have the same name as this girl so I know it’s not them but also maybe a month ago when we were hanging out he looked at his notifications and I noticed multiple missed calls from this girl I never said anything because I don’t know how to go about it. He has a streak with her it’s over 700 days. Another thing that has bothered me is when we first started talking we’d talk on the phone all the time. I was working nights at the time and he’d stay on the phone even if he fell asleep but I was always the one calling him he never really initiated the phone calls then there was this one night I called him and he didn’t pick up he texted and told me he’d call me back later… he never did so I stopped calling him and in that time he never tried to call or ask to call when I brought it up a few days later he said it was because he knew I’d get my stuff at work situated and he wanted to give me that time to do that before I called but he asked that same night if we could talk on the phone I said yes of course but again I was the one that ended up calling him and when I did he was playing video games with his friends the entire time and when he finally got off he fell asleep I just hung and never brought it up again and I also never tried to call him again. He didn’t seem bothered by it and finally months later he brings up how he missed when we talked on the phone all the time and how he’d love if I just randomly called him and I said the same that I’d like if he randomly called me this was maybe a month and a half ago he hasn’t called me once. I don’t understand how he could bring it up then just act like it never happened. I refuse to say anything about it I’ve already said something once and he said he understood but nothing changed. Another thing that has me questioning things is a while ago he got really dry out of nowhere and when I brought it up he said that he feels like at least once a month I’m questioning our relationship and ever since then I haven’t told him how I feel. When he said that it made me feel like I was being annoying and it makes me never want to say anything anymore. I also think he’s using again and I asked him about this a while ago as well because a friend of mine told me that one of his friends that happens to be a dealer told her that he was using pills and when I told him he seemed upset at the guy but he denied everything and I chose to believe him. However when I was at his place the other day I was cleaning his room a bit while he was at work and I found a little bottle with a white powder in it I didn’t know what to think of it I’ve never seen cocaine in person so I don’t know if it was that but it was in such an obvious place would he really leave it out in such an obvious place if he was trying to hide it from me? I don’t know what to think anymore this feels silly to bring up but recently whenever we get intimate it takes him so long to finish it was never like this before and he asked me if it bothered me and I simply told him that it just made me feel like he wasn’t attracted to me anymore and he kept saying that wasn’t the case and he was really attracted to me. I know for a fact he watches pxrn because he’s mentioned wanting to watch it together and then try what we see them doing. I hesitantly agreed but we never did thankfully. Something else worth mentioning is the other day he was taking so long to even open my message so I checked his location and it showed he was at an elementary school which was so weird because it was like 7pm I waited 10 minutes and checked it again and showed he was at home. He still hadn’t opened my message and he didn’t till about 9:12pm and then he didn’t reply till 10 and he said he was asleep so I asked him when he fell asleep and he said not too long after he got home around 6 and I asked him if he went out and he just denied it and questioned why I thought that I simply said I was just curious. I don’t really know what to do or how to go about it anymore we don’t even see each other often maybe 2-3 times a month and we’ve technically only been on one date we went to eat and then he dropped me off at home any other time we hang out we go to his house and do things in bed then he brings me home the next day. Like I said I don’t know how to bring any of this up without feeling like I’m making something out of nothing. Any advice?

Do you think my gf cheated?

We've been dating for 3 years back in July of 2025 I went to Indiana for about 4 months to get sober from alcohol due to my gf getting pregnant. She had just had an ectopic pregnancy and lost the baby right before she got pregnant again when she got pregnant again she had a subchorionic hematoma and had to get surgery to get her fallopian tube removed and was almost fatal for her and the baby luckily both were fine ,this happened in June at the beginning of her new pregnancy and she was put in pelvic/bed rest (but I'm not sure how long the doctor actually said it was. My gf claimed he had a gf who was constantly around him and even complained to me once that him and his gf were smoking weed and she and her parents was able to smell it but my paranoia thinks there was never any gf to begin with. The thing that set off my paranoia to begin with was when me and my gf were texting she was showing me a screenshot of a text message thread between her and him (I think she was telling him that her parents didn't like the weed smell) and I got jealous and was like "why are you texting him so much" and she responded by showing me screenshots of all their texts to show nothing was weird but one of the text messages from him says something along the line of " you got time today" or "do you have time today" and she responded with letting him down.

He’s been cheating for 3 years and I keep finding more…

My (35f) partner (34m) for the last 3.5 years was cheating the whole time. In person with at least one person and sexting with dozens. I keep finding more info and finding his secret stash of toys… that I think he was using on himself and them ? He’s lied so much and someone just sent me a screen shot from a tinder he made while he was traveling for work too. He used a fake name… and he claims it’s “not him” as if lying to my face when I asked if he was talking to or receiving/buying content from any women for the last 3.5 years makes him reliable to the truth. He had me uproot my life to move in with him in March and now I’m in this house waiting to hear back about a new apartment. I’m very angry. I’m trying so hard to hold back from posting online but I just want everyone to know. I feel like people should know how deep this goes and how dangerous he is. He has psychologically abused me in a way I never imagined someone who claimed to love me could. This happened so fast, it hasn’t even been a week since I found the evidence and more keeps piling on. I guess I just need to vent because I seem to be upsetting his family for sharing what he’s done… but he’s sick and they need to get him help he has a real addiction to using women and cheating as I now know he’s always been like this… just nobody told me…

How do I 29 F approach something I found on his 30 M phone ?

Hi me 29 F recently found something I didn't like on fiancé‘s 30 M phone (together 11 years), he recently left his old phone at my house which connected to hi gallery , I was trying to send me some pictures that he took and never sent , but curiosity got the worst of me , of course I found something , some pictures of drinks from like a month ago , he hasn’t been out for drinks lately, and I checked my conversations with him for that day and he told me he was feeling ill and didn’t respond until the next day and he said he fell asleep. it’s not the first time I accidentally find something there we broke up some years ago because he had a fake account on insta (he has Reddit and will probably guess this is about him ñ if he finds it) anyhow my trust is already weak , we are already engage and planning a wedding and now I feel like it’s my fault for forgiving the first time. I don’t want to call out the engagement but I don’t know how to feel, or how to even tell him I find this in his phone , I don't want to be the bad guy because I was checking his phone, which I understand was incorrect on my side, but well I can’t unsee what I saw now and have no idea what to do or how to approach it with him ?

My (27F) ex’s (31M) best friend helped him hide his cheating. How have others handled staying friends with someone who enabled their partner’s infidelity?

My (27F) ex (31M) cheated on me, and his best friend helped him hide it. How would you navigate this situation?

My ex’s best friend knew he was cheating on me and actively helped him keep it a secret while we were together. I can understand not wanting to get involved in your friend’s relationship, but actively helping someone deceive their partner feels like a different level of betrayal.

I’m no longer with my ex, but I’m struggling with how to view his best friend and the people who continue to associate with him despite knowing what happened.

For those who have experienced something similar, how did you handle friendships with people who enabled your partner’s cheating? Did it change how you viewed mutual friends, and what boundaries did you set afterward?
