The Big Melon
Location: Warrego Highway, Chinchilla, Queensland 4413, Australia, near the Chinchilla Visitor Information Centre.

History: The sculpture was created after Chinchilla won a nationwide competition organized by travel company Wotif in 2018. It celebrates the town's watermelon-growing industry and its famous Watermelon Festival.

The giant watermelon slice measures approximately 30 feet wide, 10 feet tall, and weighs nearly 9,000 pounds. It has become one of Australia's unusual roadside attractions.
