Politics She can't think this is good
From the Mayor of Nelson Mandela Bay - Babalwa Lobishe:
THE WORK WE HAVE DONE | ROADS & TRANSPORT
Since 2023, the ANC-led government in Nelson Mandela Bay has taken decisive action to improve roads and transport infrastructure.
7.1 km of gravel roads have been tarred.
6.7 km of sidewalks have been constructed.
We launched the #FillUpTheBay pothole repair campaign to tackle road maintenance across the Metro.
These interventions demonstrate the ANC’s continued commitment to improving basic services, strengthening infrastructure, and building a municipality that works for its people.

Politics anti lgbtq conference 2027
read about it and seen it all over social media, a christian group is holding a conference in may 2027 about the lgbtq??
i have a genuine question to homophobic individuals, how do we affect you guys, we are just living our lives and harming no one. people are getting killed , raped, robbed, etc. however y’all focus on 2 boys/ girls kissing?
all this is based on religion, just because you’re religious does not mean it dictates how WE live our lives, it dictates how you live yours.
i’m planning to start a protest for next year as i have a platform for it. i truly hope homophobic people learn to love everyone, instead y’all are more mad at gays rather than rapists.

Politics Can South Africa be turned around? (In a realistic, bold uncomfortable realistic honest way)
The type of answer I'm shooting for is the brutally honest truth, like the prognosis a doctor gives after the biopsy, honest and true. No sugar coating, no wishful thinking, just the facts...
I honestly don't know about this country anymore, how can this be fixed?
The Magangla commission confirmed all we knew already but one must remember that its only a tiny probe into a tiny part of a entire rotten carcass.
Is it even possible for our country to turn around and get right? Like if a proper, honest, rational government gets voted into power right now (i know such a thing doesn't exist), is it even possible to repair and upgrade and fix all the infra that's been neglected for 30 years?
Would it be possible to cut out all the rot in the system? Fire all the employees that serve no function. Stop paying salaries of those who don't come into work. Greatly reduce the salaries to better align with that of the rest of the world. Trim the amount of cadre positions back to logical seats. Clean up the police, trim back the generals to a needed only basis. Incorporate lifestyle audits into any government position. You know, all of these things.
Basically if we treat the SA government as a failing business with way too much debt. We get a business rescue consulting company to do whatever it takes to get the system efficient again. Would we be able to turn it around??
I sadly can't see it happening. Please tell me I'm wrong?

Politics RANT: We are righteously fucked with ANC at the helm
I am a black South African living in the Eastern Cape and I am honestly GATVOL with the incompetent selfish twats that run this country (to the ground, everyday). For fucksakes we are in the middle of a pandemic and these self absorbed bastards are literally BURNING THROUGH GOVERNMENT FUNDS LIKE NOBODY'S BUSINESS. In my town they have the AUDACITY to be driving around in (I shit you not) Mercs and Mustangs and Maserati's and Rovers and and and... that time the town has potholes every 2 metres, no water, no fucking electricity every 3 days because the cables are old and fucked. Driving around at night is a NIGHTMARE because the streetlights are fucked too so just imagine.
What's worse is the fact that people are actually DYING, LEGIT DYING because of these fuckers incompetence EVERYDAY. I myself lost my father in May because he was having an attack and the ambulance took 4 fucking hours to arrive. FOUR bru.
What further infuriates me is the moronic attitude that keeps these cunts in power "yEaH w3lL nO OtHeR pArTy Iz pRo bLaCk" pro black? PRO BLACK??? THE ANC WHOSE POVERTY STRICKEN SUPPORTERS GET FUCKED THE MOST FROM CORRUPTION IS PRO BLACK?????! What a joke. "uH YeAh WeLl wHiTe pEoPlE aRe cOrRupT tOo" ok ja exe lets vehemently fuck our own people because "white people do it too" awe love the sheer logical intelligent train of thought bru.
Everyday it's a new scandal. Literally every. Fucking. Day. BILLIONS being ran through like nobody's business. Honestly if we keep these selfish pricks in power then we have only ourselves to blame. As Nelson Mandela once said "If the ANC does to you what the apartheid government did to you, then you must do to the ANC what you did to the apartheid government”.
Motherfuck the ANC. ANC se poes And if you're a" cadre " and you're reading this, umnqudu wakho sani.
EDIT: Wow! I really didn't expect this to get the reaction it did. Thank you so much for extending your condolences guys my family and I really appreciate that. I'm sorry I couldn't reply to all of you. And thank you for voicing your opinions on this matter. It's really good to know that the voice of reason still reigns over plenty a South African. It's up to us to make a change now, one way or another.
