just wondering what my best streaming option is as a spectrum cable subscriber (I'm rarely in a position to watch directly from my cable box). Issues I've run into:

-connecting my cable subscription to the NBA app does not enable me to stream via NBA app--it says the game is available via clippervision but no option to watch within nba app
-any time I tap "clippervision" within the intuit dome app, I get the attached error; this happens regardless if a game is on at that time or not

I finally realized spectrum now has an app for Google tv, so I downloaded and tried that but the picture quality is not good. Just wondering what other cable subscribers do, thanks

For me, turnovers are the second biggest issue with this roster, only behind rebounding. Let's be honest, 23.3 TO per game is ridiculous. That's the worst in the league right now, and those possessions are straight up costing us games. Just look at the last Lakers game. We had 26 turnovers, which ended up as 33 Lakers points. That's way too much if we wanna win.

I think this is mainly because there's just too much responsibility on DG. Almost all the playmaking falls on him and Dunn, and teams have noticed that. They target them, trying to force turnovers, and t's been working.

That got me thinking about putting Jalen Pickett on the court when DG rests. He's a really good low turnover guard who doesn't force things or rush possessions. Last two season he averaged less than 1.5 turnovers per 36 minutes. Yeah, you could say that was in limited minutes, but I'm not asking him to play 20+ minutes either. Even if it's just 8 to 10 minutes to settle the offense while DG sits, I think it'd help.

He obviously won't 100% fix our turnover problems, but I do think he's worth trying.

I’d just like to point out that if the Raptors happen to miss the playoffs OR if the Nuggets land in the lottery 6-14 above the Clippers then the team will get a lottery pick.

The mechanisms behind these swaps are confusing but as far as I understand it if TOR & LAC miss the playoffs the Clippers get a lotto pick guaranteed. So for example if the Clippers win the first pick, the Raptors get the second and the Thunder get pick 27. The Thunder swap with the Clippers pick 1 for 27 Clippers swap pick 27 with pick 2 from Toronto.

Another avenue for the Clippers getting a lottery pick is if the Nuggets miss the playoffs and land outside the top 5 AND the Clippers don’t land above them. So this example would look like Denver lands pick 6 the Clippers land pick 8 Thunder land pick 27. Okc swaps picks with DEN and LAC retains control of pick 8, this dissolves the swap rights with TOR as well.

SO I say all that to say there’s a few storylines around the league clippers fans should follow because it affects the teams draft position.
If either the Nuggets or Raptors seasons were to go poorly/ be derailed by Injuries the clippers will directly benefit from their downfall lol. There’s an insane roundabout method that nets LAC the #1 pick but it’s convoluted and will never happen but lmk if you’d like me to outline that as well lol.

The decision to give Kawhi special treatment was the management’s failure, not the player’s. The Clippers could’ve simply said no. They had every opportunity to refuse. That’s where the blame should go, not on Kawhi.

Again, VERY small sample size, but at a time where there is little to be optimistic about with the Clippers, I’m glad we have KD, who plays his ass off every night and is likely our team’s best defender. He never gives up. Some of his numbers will probably drop, and his efficiency will likely come back to earth and be closer those of his first two seasons with the team, but he embodies the same spirit of Clippers basketball that made us fall in love with the 2018-19 team. Truly one of the very best role players in the association.

I remember seeing quite a few Ty Jerome comps for Wagler leading up to the draft. Now that Jerome is leading the league in scoring with 35 PPG on 56/43/89 splits, that comparison isn't looking too bad anymore lmao.

Obviously a small sample size, but it's pretty funny looking back at those comps now.

This team is actually looking great to start the season. And it makes me so angry to see Dick sacrifice his body to save us a possession multiple times and then a couple minutes later Rui basically passes the ball to the opposition for free.

He is not hitting his shots, he is not aggressive at all, he plays like he doesn’t want to win or even be here.

I understand giving players time to start the season and I’m sure he will get better. But another game thrown away like this and he should be starting from the bench.

We have a long and tough season ahead and it’s easy to go from 1-2 to being 4-20 with most of the games being “close ones”. We cannot let any games slip away and Rui is the only one out there that’s not a positive for the team in any way.

No matter who you're rooting for, it genuinely sucks to see an awesome player like Jdub go down, especially with just a minute left in the game. Honestly gave me flashbacks to when PG got injured against the Thunder back in 2023 when Lu Dort landed on his knee in the fourth quarter. Hate seeing injuries like this regardless of what team a player is on.
