Basically I wrote down a bad review on a massage shop since we had a very bad exp my gf and me.
now the owner went to the police to fine a complain about this.
Could this end up badly for me?
Not sure if I should worry or not.
The review was done on google maps.
long story short:
The complain is because they were asking personal questions about my gf's boobs. Where she did it, if she does the massage, even questioning if the doctor was a real doctor.
We do massage regularly and we never had to answer these kind of personal questions.
I can understand few but not this many and even questioning the doctor. We felt really bad about it, specially her and we wrote down two reviews.
One for her and one for me.
Should I be worried?
edit:
this was both reviews:
"WORST MASSAGE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE.
Massage itself was not that bad tbh, we got the one we wanted although it was really hard, my partner asked to be softer but the masseuse went still hard on it.
towards the end of the massage the masseuse started asking really personal questions to my parter such as:
- Where did you do boob surgery?
- How much was the surgery?
- Did you do massage on the boobs? (my gf said no, then next question was:
- Is your doctor even a real doctor? (laughed after asking this)
Among other questions.
We do massage regularly and we NEVER face this situation where they asked these kind of private questions to my parter.
After asking the questions, they also question the professionally of her doctor and clinic and then laughed.
During the massage session they were talking and my masseuse was laughing. She did a very hard massage and I was hurting I made some sounds and instead of worrying if I was alright, she started to laugh, while my parter had to ask me if I was alright (which I was)
We felt bad and we asked for a refund, we did not specify if all or partial we just asked this since we think it's only fair. They deny it and all they offered was a 10% discount for a next session, which we did not want since, again, we felt bad about it. We felt even worse when all they could do to fix this was a '10 % discount' which a discount any shop would do they kept insisting on this.
We asked for refund, never forcing since we always say that we think this is only fair. At the end they decided to give us a 290 thb discount and we pay the other 890 for 2 massage which we did not really enjoy at all.
We truly don't recommend this place, if you search around there are tons of other places where you could have a massage with a better service and better response when there are bad situations.
On a previous review made by my girlfriend, they answered with a bunch of lies, so please be aware of this since we expect the same under this review. If google ever needs to verify any of these we've got screenshots of all the chats and conversations."
"The massage was very painful and intense; sometimes their nails scratched my skin.
But the most frustrating thing was that the masseuses were chatting and laughing while I was getting my massage. They were asking intrusive questions about my breast augmentation and even said things like, "Is the doctor who did it real?" It was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. They kept asking where I had it done, boasting about the prices of other well-known clinics. I tried to stay quiet and not answer, but they kept bringing up the same topic.
I contacted the salon to explain what happened and requested a partial refund. My boyfriend and I paid 590 baht each, totaling 1180 baht. Initially, they offered to refund my 590 baht, but later the owner refused, instead offering a 10% discount for my next visit. I find this kind of discount common at other salons, even for a first-time visit, unacceptable. They insisted I come back for a second visit to fix the problem. I still don't understand why they insisted I only want a refund. A refund doesn't make me feel any better, but at least I don't regret paying for such terrible service. In the end, the salon apologized and refunded 295 baht."
