Politics Question Why Americans are not like other people, e.g., Albanians when it comes to protesting?
Read to the end. It happens/happening everywhere even in the poor countries, when people discovery that the government is working against their interests they rebel. And they don’t calm down till the problem is solved or the government is dissolved. Look at what happened in Albania lately. Except in America, what happened to our people that they are accepting everything as if it is a given fact? Corrupt politicians, bribes, war, prices hike, their rights are taken, concentrating camps, people are being kidnapped in bright daylight, kids kidnapped and caged and God knows what happened or happening to them, American citizens being executed on the streets and no one held accountable, toilet paper is more useful now than the constitution, data centers and surveillance cameras everywhere, just to name whatever I can. Yet, people go to sleep like nothing is happening. Talking about these things like they are a joke. Some people even joke that they are waiting for the country to collapse. Really? Is this our America? one day protest and go back home?
Ps; I’m not calling Americans out. This is a question the whole world is asking. Everyone here have their own reason. All reasons are valid

Politics Question Isn't it strange that not many people are talking about the Epstein files anymore, especially before the midterm elections?

Politics Question I'd like to see Democrats push for a public health insurance option anyone can join, whether they're employed or not. How many people would leave a bad job or start a business if healthcare wasn't tied to their employer.

Politics Question Canada was once our ally. Why is Trump alienating us from them? Why do we have a trade war with the Canadians?

Politics Question Should Harris have demanded an audit of the 2024 election?
I think Harris should have demanded an audit after the election was called for Trump. He flat out said that "Elon knows those machines", and there's no way he won the popular vote after losing it twice.

United States Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has transferred $1m to support Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, in a major progressive push for the upstart politician.

Politics Question Why are we not heavily taxing things that only the rich people have/do?
Private jets/flights comes to mind first. Second homes, homes worth over like 2m, Higher end cars like Porsche, lambo, Rolls....
Items like this should be taxed beyond reason. FYI, 1 private jet flight cross country puts out more carbon than most normal people put out in a year. CA alone has 150k++ private flights a year.

Politics Question Why would Trump promise $5000 to every United States adult for the 2nd time if Republicans remain in control of Congress? Wouldn't that be a financial disaster? It would drag the United States into crippling debt. What is he thinking?

Politics Question Why are there so many Hitler sympathizers nowadays?
I've recently noticed that a lot of people will openly support Nazi Germany and Hitler's ideals, to the point where I've seen a few people on social media call him a "good man" and wish he had won the war. I know there have always been Hitler sympathisers, but I don't remember it being as open and prevalent as it is now.
I guess it might have something to do with current events in Israel and their political actions, but surely people understand that Hitler did not only target Jews. He targeted every single minority he came across, including people of colour, disabled people, homosexuals, the educated elite, and intellectuals. Not only that, but he also promoted human experimentation, slave labour, and a multitude of other horrific things.
So to see people openly support that man seems incredibly absurd and incoherent to me, and makes me wonder how have we reached a point where people feel comfortable claiming he was a good man.

Politics Question Dua Lipa is currently posting content supporting the UCK (KLA), an ethnic Albanian paramilitary organization previously designated as a terrorist group by the CIA, whose leadership faced severe international war crimes charges.
Just thought it's wild how mainstream pop stars can openly glorify armed groups with dark histories involving thousands of civilian casualties, yet western pop culture spaces completely sweep it under the rug or act blind to it.
For context, the UCK/KLA was formally labeled a terrorist organization by the US/CIA in the late 90s before policy shifts during the Kosovo War, and its top commanders have faced major international tribunals for war crimes, ethnic cleansing, and human trafficking. Meanwhile, posting symbols and slogans like this gets zero mainstream backlash in Hollywood circles. What are your thoughts on double standards in celebrity activism?
