I have some players really not into shopping. So I do shopping homework. Here is the handout I sent to my players. They just email me what they want and I add some sort of advantage to their player sheet.

The prices for the same basic gear is more expensive in the "touristy" Grand Souk part of town. The Red Bazaar is more for the locals and has more reasonable pricing.

I found the map provided in the book to be really lacking in term of atmosphere. Houses have all the same type of roofs and the general look does not show its a tropical city. and the slum districts look like the others. No tents, no thatched houses, the same houses again and again.
Mike Schley's work is nice but he never adapt his style to the adventure. All maps he makes look the same...

So I took my Theed city map and reworked it heavily to fit Fort Nyanzaru. It took me 2 days as I lost the master psd when my HD crashed :/. I'm quite happy with the end result. The general layout differs from the original map but it works mostly.

This one's extra fun, but requires a little finesse.
The whole first song is just for your narrative bit. It ends very abruptly.
If you got the second video on cue, skip to around the 33-second mark, because that's when it leaves a short silence before kicking right back in.
So, for the greatest effect, do your narration, dramatic pause, "everyone roll initiative", and the Doom Eternal soundtrack kicks in with bravado.
Your players will be enthralled, terrified and you're bound to have a good time.

Completely made up in my head because there’s no official Chultan language but I made it a mix of Lingala and Cherokee because smooshing them together gives a nice unique sounding language.

Some words I’ve used an approximation for difficult sounds like the -nya in Nyanzaru so it’s “Nga-na-tsa-tu” instead.

On the left you have the consonant symbols, which have no vowel markings (kinda like Hebrew) and the 3rd column is the script, which does include vowel markings. In the script when a word starts with a vowel you make an empty symbol with just the vowel marking (see Ubtao) and a diphthong is marked with a second empty vowel symbol after the consonant symbol.

Also included written numbers which follows a base-8 counting system (8 fingers and 2 thumbs, as Chultans believe holding a thumb up is insulting because it means to go fk yourself)

The Cursed Obelisk - A One shot for 4-6 level characters

The Cursed Obelisk

The Cursed Obelisk is a short adventure for four to six 4th level characters to be used as a side quest for the Tomb of Annihilation campaign. Set in the Chultian Jungle, this adventure is meant to be placed as a "random" jungle encountered in Chult and allows DMs to more easily give reasons for the party to seek out the Heart of Ubtao as a destination. It also helps act as a bridge from the Vilandra Shadowmantle (and Red Wizards of Thay) to the Death Curse.

Synopsis

While traveling through the jungle, the party stumbles upon an abandoned camp of a few dilapidated huts, dominated by a large, corrupted obelisk of Ubtao. The obelisk has been defiled by Valindra Shadowmane, an elven lich, who is searching for the Soulmonger. She attempted to use this obelisk of Ubtao to help her locate where the Soulmonger is located and allowed her to come to the conclusion that it's located somewhere in Omu. However, this left the obelisk defiled and because of that the area has now attracted several yellow musk creepers, assassin vines, and yellow musk zombies. All drawn to the obelisk's necrotic energy. The party must navigate the dangers of the camp, uncover the clues that will lead them to the Heart of Ubtao, and decide how to deal with the corrupted obelisk.
