Opinion/Analysis Hot take: CR7 most insane stat: being sold for 100M€ to Juventus

Post image
1.4k Upvotes

Think about it, after all that he had done with the club and achieved together, after becoming a club Legend and owning it, he still left 100M€ in the bank on the way out.

This is insane, the natural order for a player after achieving this level at a club, is leaving for free, retiring or maybe still for a few €.

After everything, Mr Champions League earned his way out, didn't ask for it.

Opinion/Analysis Mbappe is the Problem – he’s breaking the system (and costing us Jude & Vini)

I’m going to keep saying this until people stop watching football through Instagram clips.

Mbappé is the problem.

Not because he’s bad — he’s world class — but because the way we’re using him is actively destroying the team structure.

He either plays left wing, or he sits and lets Vini own that side, and we play a proper 9. Endrick, García, anyone who actually pins defenders. What we’re doing right now is tactical self-harm.

  1. Mbappé as a 9 simply does not work

Mbappé cannot play with his back to goal. This isn’t new information.

When a defender is tight behind him:

• He can’t turn

• He can’t hold play

• He doesn’t bring others into the game

So what does he do?

He drifts left. Instinctively. Every single time.

And guess who already lives there? Vini.

Now we have:

• Two players occupying the same zone

• Zero central presence

• Centre-backs stepping out comfortably

There is no striker function in this team.

  1. Vini is NOT the problem (and booing him is embarrassing)

We’ve literally seen what Vini can do when:

• There’s a striker occupying CBs

• He gets isolation

• The ball moves quickly

Vini + Rodrygo / Benzema / even Joselu worked because space existed.

Now?

• Mbappé drags defenders into Vini’s lane

• Full-back + CB double him

• Left side becomes traffic

And then fans whistle him. For what?

For not dribbling through 3 players every time?

  1. Jude Bellingham has been completely nerfed

People forget this conveniently.

Jude’s 28-goal season.

It happened because:

• There was no dominant striker demanding the ball

• Jude attacked space as a late runner

• Defenders were occupied, not waiting

Now?

• Jude makes the run → doesn’t get the pass

• Jude tracks back → exhaustion

• Jude covers defensive transitions → hamstring injury

He’s doing two jobs because one player up front isn’t doing the dirty work.

We didn’t “lose form”.

We lost structure.

  1. Our defence is not weak — it’s exposed

This narrative needs to die.

We’re conceding on counters because:

• We attack with basically 3 at the back

• Full-backs are high

• Midfield is pushed up out of desperation

Why desperation?

Because we’re not scoring.

Because we don’t shoot.

Because possession doesn’t turn into threat.

Previous seasons we shot a LOT. Not all on target, but we tested defences.

Now we hesitate. We recycle. We wait for Mbappé magic.

That leaves defenders outnumbered every transition.

That’s not bad defenders — that’s bad balance.

  1. Mbappé slows the game down (this is the uncomfortable truth)

When Jude cuts through the final line, Mbappé doesn’t release the ball.

He holds it.

He looks for his own moment.

He shifts wide instead of playing vertical.

Madrid football has always been:

• One-touch

• Vertical

• Ruthless

Right now it’s sterile dominance with hero-ball intentions.

And the worst part?

When Mbappé doesn’t score, he’s invisible for 90 minutes — yet somehow people say he’s the only one playing well.

Watch the games without the name on the shirt.

  1. The fix is obvious

    • Mbappé left wing, not central

    • Vini undisputed LW if Mbappé doesn’t adapt

    • A real 9 to occupy defenders (Endrick / García / profile striker)

    • Jude freed as CAM

    • Rodrygo floating, not suffocating

One player should not force 10 others to adapt.

Madrid has never worked like that.

Final thought

Mbappé isn’t the villain.

But forcing him to be the axis is killing the ecosystem.

Right now the team looks like:

“Let’s fix the whole squad to unlock one player.”

Real Madrid historically is:

“You adapt to the shirt — or you sit.”

Jude is paying the price.

Vini is paying the price.

The defence is paying the price.

And soon, the results will too.

You can make fool of people online, quoting random stats. But you can't deny this was the day vini became an enemy even in the eyes of own people.

After that he constantly getting whistled booed in the bernabeu. From the very 1st minute, everytime he touch the ball.

Opinion/Analysis Why would vini join Arsenal ? If he joins and Arsenal win UCL, Vini will win Ballondo'r. If he stays and Madrid win UCL, Mbappe will win the Ballondo'r.

Its not about money. It was never about money. He wants Mbappe salary because he wants the same status.

I am not vini supporter, infact I think him going is the best for both him and madrid, but I find it stupid when people say he is doing this for money, and stuff like he should go to saudi if he wants that much money.

Opinion/Analysis Thoughts?

I think we still should go for a midfielder like wharton probably replacing Valverde as mourinho thinks tchouameni is really vital for his system. Are they trying to negotiate it by moving guler's roles and positions?

Opinion/Analysis The Disrespect is getting out of hand.

Some “fans” of this club genuinely want Fede benched just so that we can perform better. I’ll admit it, he hasn’t been his best lately but so has 90% of the team. Passing weird comments and making lineups without him is straight up stupidity. This Man bleeds Madridismo and the best thing we can do for him as fans is get behind our captain and give him the support which he clearly deserves after 8 glorious seasons at Madrid.

Total domination....full aggression even when 2-0 up, our players simply let the other team have too much of the ball.. I dont see us beating barca this season

Opinion/Analysis If Vinícius Jr leaves Real Madrid, should Madrid sign a No. 9 and move Mbappé to the left, or sign another LW and keep Mbappé as the striker?

Curious to hear what everyone thinks.

Option A: Sign a world-class No. 9 and let Mbappé play in his preferred LW role.

Option B: Sign another elite left winger and keep Mbappé as the No. 9.

Which would you choose, and why?

Opinion/Analysis My thoughts on our potential lineup

Post image

I’d say that this midfield and attack is perfect. Squad depth is also perfect (I have dejavu of 2017 depth).

Cucu and Dumfries+Arnold are great too.

But the CBs are average for me. This is the centre that would do so many useless mistakes. I really have high expectations for Huijsen and i think that we really need Bastoni too. They together could be great CB duo. Currently our best CB is Militao but he will only play 10-15 games as usual so he doesn’t count.

Also Rodri is injury prone too. But I really hope he can be fit for big games and Tchou will cover him well too.

Mou really has to make toxic duo work together. Otherwise every galactico signing is useless.

I know them 2 UCL runs and Ballon DOr had yall believing vini was the answer but saying Mbappe was the reason why we are bad is blasphemous.

Opinion/Analysis I am soo happy how this summer transfer window is going so far. I am satisfied, but selling vini would be a huge cherry on top for me.

He has just 1 year left on his contract, and him going will solve a lot of problems for us. Financially and tactically too.

Mbappe will have freedom to be either on left, or go upfront. When Mbappe is on left, bellingham will have space to run forward.

With vini currently on left, mbappe has to stick to the center, he can't really drift left as much, so we are wasting his left winger ability. And that also means bellingham has no space to go forward and we are wasting his goal scoring ability. Remember how well bellingham performed in first season when there was no mbappe and he had freedom to go forward ?

On top of that, with vini leaving, we will only be left with one guy (Mbappe) who doesn't defend much. I don't like that he doesn't, but having one guy not defending is way better than two guys not defending.

But if jose wants to keep vini. I would be happy with that too.

It feels like next season will be spectacular.

Opinion/Analysis Our midfield is no longer good enough at the top level

The very thing that makes other top clubs stand out is their midfielders. Barca have Rodri and Pedri. PSG have Joao Neves and Vitnha, even Arsenal have Rice. Manchester City were very smart spending over 300 Million for new midfielders. Madrid have been lacking a more built up focused midfielder for the past few seasons. Valverde Cama and Tchouameni are all not good enough to be able to win some trophies. Diomande was simply a stupid transfer, especially with Enzo literally begging to join us. Of course this isn’t our only problem if we take a look at the offense for example.

Opinion/Analysis I’m convinced this is a secret Anti Madrid sub. There’s no way real fans hate on their team or have no hope or support.

I’ve been seeing a lot of ridiculous statements from people on this sub, yall can’t convince me this isn’t secret Barca account. Comparing goals to Barca’s, bashing players constantly, twisting their words, giving up on the season and speaking on how we won’t win any trophies etc.
Guys please follow @RealMadrid subreddit for actual Real Madrid content etc.

EDIT: this does not mean you cannot criticise Real Madrid but some of the posts aren’t constructive feedback or football analysis, it’s just hating on your players.

Opinion/Analysis Orchestrator Trent = Rodri Solution?

Post image

He’s most likely going to transition into this kind of role once his speed is gone anyways why not play him next to tchouamani, dumfries rb? Did we have the answer all along under our noses? I definitely see the potential of this and he actually fits the mold of an orchestrator.
