Not a car expert so excuse me if I get a few of the details wrong. I drive a 2016 jeep cherokee sport 2.4 cylinder engine. I have an issue where my car is over heating because a hose broke that is connected to the antifreeze. I’m having a hard time determining what this hose is called please assist

Do I find a replacement part for it? I got rid of the corrosion but the middle and right one are stuck? What do I do in this situation? Please help if you can.

I know that OEM is like the better way to go when it comes to parts, I’ve bought two Duralast thermostats this year and they just seem to be crappy. Looking at a new one, does anyone have any recommendations for an aftermarket thermostat that may be better than OEM? Not super worried about price. Have a 2014 JKU with the 3.6L. Currently I watch my temp gauge creep over halfway and will only drop again when I crank the heat up. Hoping it’s just the thermostat again….

It drives good, the only issue is there is what sounds like chain slap in the transfer case when first accelerating in 4WD.

The bottom of the TC is covered in oil so maybe it’s just low on fluid but I assume it’s been low for a while. It’s an old lady selling it.

Would you buy it for the $3000/$2150? I’ll have to put a $500 used TC in it. Similar vehicles go for a lot more in my area.

Hello, I just got my jeep. It's a 2010 2 door Jeep Wrangler I plan on making it gengar themed and need help deciding on what I should do to achieve that look.

I plan on having it painted the exact hex code purple and I figured since Gengar is a poison/ghost type I could do a green as a complement somewhere. Maybe in the handles I'm not too sure.

I'm having a hard time picturing what I want to do and figured I could get help from people that know a lot about jeeps so I could visualize what I want before I start putting money into it.

I have a 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4XE and never paid for connected services. I have always wanted the remote start option via the app (mainly because my key fob generally doesn’t reach my vehicle from home / work).

It has come to my attention that Jeep updated Connect One for 2027 models to include remote start for FREE via the app.

Does anyone know if Jeep would be willing to honor that new program for 2025 or 2026 owners? I’d hate to have to pay $15.99 a month for a feature that I could have for free on a 2027. If anyone has any guidance on how to navigate or request this, by all means… please share :)

Just a quick overnight trip in the old Willys.

I am really hoping I can avoid replacing the heater core. Below is what I've done/tested so far. Anyone know of anything else I should check before replacing the heater core? The only thing I have left to try is to burp the coolant, I'll be doing that this weekend but wanted to check here for additional ideas.

- Driver's side and passenger side vents both blow similar temps while the jeep is fully warmed up. Approximately 80 degrees, the driver's side is a few degree's less but only 3 or 4 degrees, nothing significant.

- Both heater hoses are about the same temp to the touch when running.

- the blend door actuator was broken but I have replaced that and it did not fix the issue

- I replaced the thermostat, it is not stuck open.

- I thoroughly flushed the cooling system.

Our 2019 Wrangler turned on but refused to start and sometimes threw a security password required window for what seemed like laughs.
We tried the fob-direct to start button and everything was on except the engine.
The battery is 2 weeks old and the error codes were plentiful.
We took it to the dealer, ran the electrical audit and came back with no issues.
Both owner and dealer mechanic are perplexed. Does anyone have any similar situations? Does this sound familiar?

Buy mopar extended warranty through finance people that I bought my jeep rubicon, from a legit Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM dealership or should a buy that warranty from Mopar directly? Car has 25000 miles. Just call Mopar not to long ago and they offered me $5100 for 5 years. And if I recall right the financial people at the dealership before leaving, they were offering me the same warranty from Mopar but way less like around 3800. Did I hear right or impossible!!!

Did anyone change the black plastic under the front bumper older 2016 version heard you don’t have to remove whole bumper just unclip the bottom plastic what could I use for the clips don’t have the tool for it

1998 Jeep Cherokee XJ 4.0 AW4 – No crank, no start. Any ideas?
Jeep ran perfectly before being parked for 5 months. Now absolutely no crank, not even a click from the starter. Dash lights work.

Troubleshooting so far:
Battery fully charged: 12.9V.
No crank in Park or Neutral.
Tried 3 different starter relays. All click.
Relay terminal 30: 12.69V during START.
Terminal 86: 12.40V during START.
Terminal 85: Ground appears OK.
Terminal 87: 0V during START, relay installed.
Continuity confirmed between terminal 87 and starter solenoid trigger wire.
Starter main power cable has voltage.
Solenoid trigger wire: only 0.4V during START.
Immobilizer light turns off normally.

What could cause this? What should I test next?

I have a 81 scrambler i purchased a year ago. It came in decent shape and fiberglass body. I added 35inch tires, holly sniper injection, upgraded the front and rear to 373 gears and new axles. Modified suspension by pulling one leaf per wheel. That softened the ride a bit as body is lighter than metal. Blue tooth stereo system with upgraded speakers. With the injection system runs really great.
