First off, the winner of last week's giveaway: https://www.redditraffler.com/raffles/1w0pc53

Congratulations, u/V_C_Drache! I'll be reaching out to you to get the necessary information to fulfill this giveaway.

A little while ago, I came out with the Magical Code of Regulations, 500 pages of law governing the use of magic. It started as a fun little project while I was working as an auditor at the IRS, and turned into a whole worldbuilding project I don't think I'll ever truly stop. It has laws governing everything ranging from necromancy, magical conservation easements, and familiars, to dragons, fireballs, and Chosen Ones. Great for D&D players and DMs, lawyers, accountants, worldbuilders, fantasy writers, and people that just want a really cool coffee table book. I promise it is the most in-depth magical law you've ever read.

Here's what some people have had to say about it:

"An unnecessarily comprehensive and deeply inconvenient framework. Several of my longstanding plans now require prior authorization." -Glorgon the Destroyer, Antagonistic Entity of Prophetic Significance #33

"Clear, thorough, and appropriately burdensome. I have no notes, though I will be requesting additional documentation." -Arthur B. Wexler, Senior Auditor, Department of Magical Affairs

Since release, I've made nearly 5k sales, this book is #1 on IngramSpark in fantasy over the last 60 days (for you booksellers looking for a cool book for your store), and will even have an officially licensed Chinese edition on the way (more details to come later)!

As a way to give back a bit, I will be giving away one signed copy of my book with a free digital version, a customizable authorized spellcaster license, a few stickers and a bookmark, and a no-change audit letter. All you have to do to enter is comment below! The winner will be selected randomly on 9/11 using redditraffler, with only caveat being that your account must be at least 3 months old.

I appreciate all the support I've gotten from this community and others over the past couple of years, and if you'd like to support this project independent of this giveaway, you can find the Code at the following links:

Amazon (preferred): https://www.amazon.com/Magical-Code-Regulations-Spellcasting-Regulation/dp/B0GZF9PVQL/ref=tmm_hrd_swatch_0

NOTE: If the shipping seems extremely expensive, you may need to go to your country's storefront. If you live in the EU and your country doesn't have one, Germany (amazon.de) is usually best. I'll try my best to find options for anyone that has trouble getting it!

DriveThruRPG: https://www.drivethrurpg.com//product/566282/the-magical-code-of-regulations?affiliate_id=5121378

If you're still not convinced, and wanted a sneak-peek, Questing Beast made a great video on it!

https://youtu.be/ffP-xvpRS5Q?is=YXo5uFPHC4cDXeTo

If you're still not convinced, know that the second edition will make ownership of the MCOR compulsory, so you might as well give in now.

On another note, many of you have asked about getting the spellcaster licenses. Working on finding a good badge printer, so hoping to offer these soon!

So why these dice?

We're currently working on a new 5.5e D&D edition of The Painted Wastelands, our award winning psychedelic fantasy campaign setting in a dream world. It's full of bizarre creatures, dream magic, desert weirdos, hexcrawl exploration, gorgeous artwork, and an actual playable Cat.

When I saw these amber-and-purple dice, they looked like they belonged there.

If that sounds like your kind of D&D, you can see The Painted Wastelands 5.5e and follow the upcoming campaign here:

https://www.backerkit.com/c/projects/agamemnon-press/the-painted-wastelands-5e

Following the campaign isn't required to enter the giveaway. But if you follow our project you will receive a free preview PDF.

Good luck!

Question:

In the Painted Wastelands you can play as yourself! You can have +2 and +1 to any two abilities or +1 to any three abilities. You just have to convince everyone at the table to agree. What ability bonuses would you give yourself?

You don't have to answer that to enter. Any comment counts.

Congratulations u/TheGuyWithANose213 you won! I'll DM you so I can get your address and get these dice in the mail for you.

Hello!

I'm making this giveaway as a thanks for all the support I've been getting in the past months from this lovely community ♡

I tend to post my deranged characters here, and it's thanks to the upvotes, comments and even new follows I got on my IG account that I have been able to get new commission opportunities from other players. And it's thanks to those commission that I finally been able to help my family pay one out of two big debts they have been owning the bank from a long time. Also I've been able to help with everyday necessities or special food for my senior dogs.

Debts are far from over, but I never thought I would be able to pay them by doing something I loved since I was a kid! So thank you, especially those who decided to trust me and my art. I always say that if I didn't live in a third word country, I would gladly draw for free ✨️

And for that I'm giving away one fully rendered portrait of the character you chose! It can be anything as long as it fits the list of what I draw (tldr, anything as long as it's not nsfw, robots or hateful art)

I can work with character descriptions, drawings, heroforge and screenshots from games like bg3.

If you have any questions regarding this giveaway or my art, please let me know!

🌱 I'm chosing a winner via RedditRaffler on Monday 7th of September, so please remember to comment something on this post to participate! Lore of your characters are appreciated but not strictly necessary

Feel free to check my Instagram to see the banner drawings in full and other of my past artwork! The first and last characters from the banner don't belong to me, I just drew them.

Have a nice weekend and good luck ✨️
