It happened with me😲 Is it worth feeling impure.
Hey guys! So I'm a 18 year old female and I had sevral crushes in my 18 years of life, There was this guy who was a classmate and I had a crush on him for 4 years and then without even confessing I moved on and then there was this another guy I met online but it was a really short one and more of admiration and then later on I found out he was such a cheap person and as of now I HATE THAT GUY THE MOST IN THIS ENTIRE WORLD so I won't even consider that a crush because it will be disrespectful to myself, but then I met this other guy even that was LDR and I never even saw him and we broke up, he never made me feel more than a friend even after confessing, even in his confession he didn't said "I love you" and not even after that, we barely talked still I managed to stay for 2 years and he even disappeared on our 1st dating anniversary, I was super excited and later on he gave a reason and I didn't bought it up again, well later on he himself broke up with me after like almost a year I started liking a guy because he was someone who wasn't judgemental and made me feel less anxious and safe but later on this time without thinking much I confessed and got rejected (obviously💔). I have no social life, I get taunted everyday by my parents for rotting in my room, I'm anxious, senstive and Idk why I just keep writing things.
So the important part is that when I'm thinking about the whole thing now I feel like I was so desperate, I haven't even held hands with a guy but all this already made me feel like a bit impure and desperate, that online dating guy once said that I'm an attention seeker....and that scar Still makes me overthink. Most of the people think I want to gain sympathy but that's not true I really wanna talk about it without getting judged but obviously everyone gets judged.

It happened with me😲 This is either peak ragebaiting or hate mongering.
Not sure if this person is a foreigner or an Indian.
But I'm tired of seeing these hateful stereotypes. This is not the first time I've seen such comments.... nowadays such hatred is seen on almost every Indian subreddits on any topic related to India.
Both of these comments (shown with red arrow) are annoying ragebaits - especially that last comment.

It happened with me😲 Rahul Gandhi the real batman
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I went for a chai-sutta break. I always ask for a disposable cup, but my chaiwala never told me these cups are apparently for Dalits.
Only after Rahul Baba’s press conference today did I realise the truth: in India, chai vendors keep two cups one disposable and one reusable. Disposable for Dalits, reusable for upper-caste people like me.
Ab mere chai wale ki khair nahi. He thinks I’m from a lower caste. Bro, I am Kshatriya if my birth determines my varna. 😌
I finally understand why he once asked my friend, who is from the Mochi samaj, for his caste certificate. I thought showing a caste certificate before buying a cup of chai was just normal procedure in India. 🤦♂️
Imagine the trauma he has to go through now. I just booked tickets to Toxic to enhance his trauma. You know, I’m upper caste and he’s lower caste, so apparently we are supposed to traumatise lower-caste people. 😂
Rahul Gandhi is doing such a great job as Leader of Opposition. First he exposed patriarchy in Hinduism — because apparently only Hindus are patriarchal.
PS: Criticise the community that covers women from head to toe at your own risk. Rahul ji bhi yeh risk nahi rahe hain, toh tu kaun hai be yeh risk lene? 😂
Now he’s exposing the caste system at chai tapris too. Such an opposition leader must be protected from the burden of becoming PM.
Imagine becoming PM and then having no time left to investigate which cup your chaiwala gives to which caste.
This is why I finally understand why he purposely lost all three elections. He knows his real responsibility is to eliminate casteism at every chai tapri and fight for the rights of Hindu women whose families apparently don’t let them roam around in two-piece bikinis.
Rahul ji, please remain Opposition Leader.
Desh ko aapki chai-tapri investigations ki zarurat hai. 😂

It happened with me😲 What's your most embarrassing incident with your crush? Here's mine.
Looking back, it was a pretty casual incident, but I was very embarrassed when it happened back in college in 2017.
Around 11:30 p.m. I was sitting in my hostel room, using WhatsApp, when I saw that my classmate, who was also my crush and whom I rarely talked to, had a new DP. I tapped on it to open the full-size photo. But the profile picture and call button on WhatsApp are right next to each other, so I accidentally pressed the call button instead.
I tried to end the call quickly, but it was already ringing. Panicking, I simply switched off my phone afterwards.
About 20 minutes later, after composing myself, I turned it back on and saw that she had called me back. I just replied sorry and that was the response I got from her. I didn't even go to class the next day, afraid to make eye contact with her.
So, that's one of my most embarrassing memories. What are yours?

It happened with me😲 Corporate slave 🙈🙉🙊vs public servant 🫅
Today I booked a 1AC train ticket from A to B.
I had recently graduated from university, got a job, and was genuinely happy. I was earning my own money, paying my taxes, and finally feeling like I was becoming independent.
So I booked a confirmed 1AC ticket, paid for it, reached the train, and expected to travel peacefully.
But then I found out that a sahab — a government officer — had to travel, so I was basically asked to “adjust.”
And honestly, I want to make one thing clear:
I didn’t feel bad about adjusting.
Maybe the officer didn’t even know what was happening. Maybe it wasn’t their decision at all. I’m not blaming that individual.
What actually bothered me was something much bigger.
I had just graduated, got my first job, started earning, and was paying taxes. I had booked a confirmed 1AC ticket with my own money.
Yet the moment a government officer needed the berth, I felt like my confirmed ticket suddenly became less important.
They gave me another seat in 1AC temporarily, and I adjusted.
But then I was told that when sahab leaves, I’ll have to shift myself and my luggage back to my original seat.
And that made me think:
Why does the inconvenience automatically become the citizen’s responsibility?
Maybe the officer has no idea that someone had to move for them. Maybe they had nothing to do with the decision. Again, I’m not blaming the person.
What hurt was the feeling of being powerless in front of the government system that I, as a citizen, am paying into.
I had just started my career. I was proud that I could finally earn my own money, pay for my own travel, and contribute through taxes.
And yet, in that moment, I felt like none of that mattered.
Not because I had to adjust.
I would happily adjust if there was a genuine emergency or a situation where someone genuinely needed help.
What bothered me was the power imbalance — the feeling that when a government designation enters the picture, an ordinary citizen is simply expected to say, “Okay, I’ll adjust.”
Maybe this was just one bad experience. Maybe there was a valid reason behind it.
But it left me with a question I can't shake:
As citizens, are we really equal before the system — or are some people simply more entitled to our “adjustment” than others?
I’d genuinely like to know: What would you have done if you were in my place?

It happened with me😲 What started as a ghost joke in a Boy's PG became the strangest experience of my life.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I’ve never posted about this before, but something happened to me in 2025 that I still can’t explain.
I moved to another state for college in 2022 and stayed in a boys’ PG near campus. During admission, my parents noticed something odd: everyone dried clothes in the corridor, not on the roof. The owner said students were not allowed upstairs, so we ignored it.
A week later, some seniors told us the real reason: the building had once been a girls’ PG, and a girl had allegedly jumped from the roof and died there. The building still had pink almirahs from those days. I assumed it was just a story to scare juniors.
For the next two years, nothing unusual happened. I was often alone in the building and never felt anything strange. I even sneaked onto the roof several times during summer nights without any fear.
In late 2024, a new batch of students arrived. They secretly broke the roof lock and began using the roof at night for barbeques, drinking, and burning old wooden items stored there. My room was directly below that area.
Around January 2025, I began hearing footsteps and movement on the roof late at night even when no one was there. My roommates could not hear it, so I convinced myself it was my imagination.
Everything changed in February 2025. The owner’s mother came to our room after discovering damage on the roof and quietly told us, "Don’t tell anyone, A girl did jump from the roof years ago. That’s why we never allowed students upstairs.” Hearing that from a family member of the owner genuinely shook me. For the first time I wondered whether the sounds I had been hearing were connected to that place.
Soon after, my junior also moved out, and I became the only person staying in that room.
Because our exams had ended, I went home for about six weeks. I returned on 16 April 2025 at around 10:30 PM. I unpacked, had dinner, and started working on a college project on my laptop.
I took out my phone and recorded the sound, then ran toward the staircase. The noise stopped immediately. ( I have attached the video I had recorded that day )
My mother insisted that I stop sleeping alone, so I moved into a friend’s room. We both began hearing footsteps, running sounds, dragging noises, and occasional heavy bangs from the roof and storeroom area above us. Strangely, whenever I called someone specifically to listen, the sounds often stopped before they arrived. My Friend with whom I used to stay even after hearing those sounds doubts me.
The most frightening incident happened around 3 AM. We were both awake and ignoring the usual noises when suddenly a massive bang came from above us. The bed shook, the walls vibrated, and my friend screamed in fear. It sounded as if a heavy wooden object had been slammed onto the floor above our room. From that night onward, he stopped doubting me.
I informed the owner and the PG management. They suggested rats, thieves, or other explanations, but none of them fit the situation. One manager even said I was imagining things. Almost immediately after saying that, a loud bang came from the roof and we heard running sounds above us. He went silent after hearing it.
The disturbances continued for several weeks, mostly between 11 PM and 4 AM. Many times I rushed upstairs with the keys, but the sounds always stopped before I reached the roof, and I never found anyone there. I have noticed one thing , whenever I take someone to the roof to explain the activities, after returning from the roof she definitely makes some sounds as if it triggers her.
In May 2025 I left for home again for a few weeks. When I returned, I personally stopped hearing the noises. Strangely, some students who had previously mocked me started complaining about sounds coming from the empty locked rooms and the roof area. Eventually everything stopped.
I still don’t know what happened in that building. Maybe there was a completely ordinary explanation that I failed to discover. But the timing, the repeated sounds, the locked roof, and the fact that other people eventually heard them too make it one of the strangest experiences of my life.

It happened with me😲 I know she won't text me, but still I wait
It's been only one week. I know she is not going to text me, but still I check my phone again and again.
I don't know why I'm still waiting when I already know she won't come back. Maybe I'm just not ready to accept that it's over.
And honestly, if her message comes right now, I'll reply without even thinking twice.

It happened with me😲 Today I regretted tipping a waiter
I go to this cafe near my college on a regular basis. On days when I go with a huge crowd and we order a lot of stuff, I tip the waiters. Now this one waiter used to wait for me and serve me because I tipped him 5% of the bill on two separate occasions leading to ₹300 and ₹150.
Two days before, when I went to the same cafe he asked for my number and since I kind of had made him an acquaintance, I gave it to him. Since I’m a medical student I thought it would be related to something about health or disease related. Now this guy has been texting me and calling me since I gave him my number and I was feeling uncomfortable.
Today I decided to go to the cafe again with a friend of mine since that’s the only decent place nearby. I met him again and this time he called me alone and when I went(I’m a guy so I didn’t have to assume he was going to do something inappropriate) he basically started telling me about his story about how he had to give his child’s fees and he will return it the next morning when he comes to the hospital, etc. Later I got to know he does this to anyone that seems like a non local(I’m from the NE) and is from my same college because he did it to a senior of mine also.
I felt so upset at the lack of humanity displayed by this guy because I felt the need to tip him even though it wasn’t store policy as a thank you towards him serving us. I didn’t expect any special treatment but I also didn’t expect him to take advantage of my generosity and start expecting charity.
I’ve realised why tipping is not a culture practiced in India.

It happened with me😲 what do you hate about people who want to keep indian culture alive
so some people keep on saying that we should go back to our cultural roots instead of embracing western culture but funny enough they also boast that people in forign are also practising indian culture while we are abandoning our roots for the western stuff . what i hate about this argument is that they are once again comparing us with the west in the name of telling us to embrace our roots and main factor is that our cultural roots are problamatic cause it denies women education and even justifies child marrage and i hate the fact that cinema mostly shows villages as a pure space when in reality unimiganable kinds of nonsense happen in villages. and also thinking and dressing modernly is not supposed to be considered western and you know the funniest part is that i have seen even educated women telling people to go back to their roots. so what is your openion on this matter..
